A 1970s Connecticut kid here. Please find me a WHA Tommy Webster or Larry Pleau NEW ENGLAND Whalers jersey (with the proper logo) and then I’ll get super excited. I saw you rock a Whalers lid in another video but it was the later (lame) logo. I’m sentimental about those early Whalers years bc my dad, who died when I was in HS, used to take me to 15-20 games a year. It was the best. Took me about 20-25 years before I could root for any other team. I got back into hockey when the Bs were coming up with Savard, Bergeron,, Chara, Ferrance squad. They sucked me back in. And I’m grateful for it. BTW - love your videos. The enthusiasm is top shelf. Just like Tommy Webster.
Why aren’t these stores everywhere all the time? I want the Minnesota north stars jersey from the last year of existence, was basically the Dallas stars first jerseys but it just said Stars on the logo, no small Dallas print above. they were fucking fire
*As a DucksFan, that Sabres jersey design is without a doubt, their nicest in history. Not sure why teams don't just build more off of vintage, instead of taking a half-ass vintage-modern look.*
@@goalhorn2012 Or its simply an obvious Business move. New looks or spinoff new creations, equals more revenue. Especially if say, Starter....CCM...Nike...Reebok...stop making jerseys as the leagues primary contracted company and addidas takes over. I'm not really sure what your concept of "interesting" is, solely on a jerseys perspective.
It's weird I mean it's very troubling that you don't know that these are made after the fact they're not originals it took 2 seconds to figure that out
