@@eveyk.1204 I do think she and Elvin made a good match, but I wonder who was paying for their daily expenses at that time. Sondra couldn't work b/c she had to take care of the babies, and Elvin was in school. Did the parents provide the funding? (Maybe they said something in another episode but I forgot.)

they should've went to grad school first, then got married, they would've been around 26 yrs old then, and in a better position to raise kids.......besides elvin wouldn't be done for another 7 to 8 years , doubt sondra would go to law school by then
