I really, really liked the first release, I'm not a heavy metal girl, but the technical,, creative, musical content and sound of this was amazing and totally intense. Now I've got the damn thing running through my head nonstop!!! These guys have some great chops!
I'm loving this song. Structure, use of varying textures & dynamics to keep the listener's interest throughout, vocal delivery melodic & singalongable. That syncopated transition out of the breakdown into athe light I'm not finding much to dislike here. Between this & the first single, I'm now looking forward to buying the album when it appears. Given that Peter & Chris both went to Berklee's campus in Valencia Spain to do their jazz-leaning Masters (& thus met Jorge in Valencia), I'm confident they have depth of musicality & technical chops to take us down all sorts of interesting paths. ;)
New the Cost dropped with Serj of of SOAD fame. El Estepario is phenomenal along with Serj and the band. Poignant message, try and make it without a tear for the children ❤
Thank you ....this is the 2nd time that I've heard this song and I like it so much better now.. That passage from 04:00 to 04:39 gave me the Metal chills !! THIS IS NOT A TRACK ...this is MUSIC... and it's beautifully brutal .......... the only thing that I disagree with you about is that It will take you SEVERAL lifetimes of pratice to be as good as El Estepario
Very enjoyable indeed. Great melody. The guitar and vocal work was really good. That bass really was fantastic. The drummer was really good. I mean, he's not like the guy that makes those insane RU-vid short videos, but he's really solid. 😉
Was very surprised when I heard their first single but this was more of what I was expecting from them. Hadn't heard this one until now. A good addition the the metalverse, I'd say! I'll be keeping an eye on them to see where they're headed. Speaking of drummers - any thoughts on the whole Slipknot -> Suicidal Tendencies -> Sepultura triangle?
I'm loving Peter's vocals. Nice to hear melodic *singing* with energetic, driving, metal like this. Jinjer is still the only band using harsh vocals whose music I've spent actual money on, & that's because their composition is top-tier. Actually, that's a lie, I have a couple of Opeth albums. But that's it! LOL
You sure have got a good taste. Both bands you mention here are two of my favourites too. Nevertheless, Mikael and Tatiana both have a way deeper clean voice. The singer of this band holds melody well, but I just miss some depth and groove. That's all. Cheers 🍺@badm0t0rf1nger
