I went to jail when I was 18 and bogus charges. Never and I mean NEVER talk to the police, those people and I use the term people loosely are not your friends. Even if what they say sounds innocent it is a trick, shut up and ask for a Lawler.
This isn't how it works in my state. You show up and your attorney can talk to the District Attorney to negotiate an agreement. If you're a first time offender, your case can fall under rule 202 which states that you go on probation and do some community service. Then after that, your case can be expunged from your record forever. (This differs based on the severity of the crime but it's ALMOST the same for all misdemeanors)
@Jeff Oliver The Judges are aware that they are violating the law and do not recuse themselves. They are using our ignorance of not knowing that they should not preside over cases. To recuse themselves means the case is lost as the replacement has no legal authority and the Judge will not get paid for that specific case which is a bribe.
If I ever become a defense attorney, (high chance in what I'm probably gonna become) and anyone says something wrong... Well... Let's just say... *OBJECTION!*
I want to be a prosecution attorney because I don't want to defend someone I know is a criminal, I would rather put criminals in jail vs help getting them out
@@dorianailshie6368 defence attorney's are not always supporting individuals who committed a crime. there have been people who have been falsely accused and wrongful convictions that have occurred across the world. defence attorney's are not always protecting people who have committed a crime and then again if someone did commit a crime and it was small and a first time offence, do you really believe they should go to prison for that?
Hi there, almost everyone in the world have been in the courtroom with their trial or case. In the coming days, people will argue or fighting. Then they will end up in courtroom. Specially when the other one become impatient. Hurt or killed him. Everyone always end up in court room. Sometimes they didn’t know about their constitution rights. Then they will need a lawyer, that’s the time they will know about their constitution rights.
If the bailiff is in charge of maintaining order in the court room, the prosecutor is in charge of informing the jury to the law, and the jury is in charge of determining what is fact and rendering a verdict. why is a judge necessary? A judge can not determine fact.
@@lila333111 unfortunately no one is there to correct the judge. Most of these guys and some women have huge egos and will push their own political or religious beliefs in the courtroom. Some judges get swayed by a pretty face, or get played by a bible thumper, it's pretty sad honestly.
Yesterday I was watching a Film/Series' That has a Lot of Courtroom scenes and thinking that I want to be an Actor/Lawyer/Screenwriter... Is That Possible? Haha
@Jon Dillon SON, listen I'm going to try to explain this to you as best as I can, unfortunately I can't spell it out in crayon for you but try to keep up ok. Are you familiar with the term MONEY LAUNDERING it's what criminals run threw a front business so it come legit, same basic activity is done in our court system. EXAMPLE you can't just hand the judge some cash and walk free BUT you hand it to a lawyer and suddenly your crime isn't so bad. Are you getting it now son? Oh yes my grammar, this is just RU-vid son, not a grammar rodeo. Also you say I look like a grown man, dude that's a picture of a wrestler from the 90's, c'mon man please tell me you have 1 brain cell in that Jason Vorhees looking head of yours.
Yes the law should be guidline since there so much about humanity we do not know and laws change all the time and there has been civil right movement changing the rules of society.
