Thomasine's gloves are GORGEOUS! I am baking my version of French baguettes and watching your video!!! I love the 1st, try to always stay there. Not everything is too expensive. LOVE that candy store, everything is so good!! I so miss Paris.

Hi Jay loved that video. Tomasine seems like a lovely person and very talented. Loved the stop off at the leather shop, very interesting as were all the passages, a must on my next trip there whenever that might be.
This was awesome, reminded me of when I stumbled on one of the passages when I was in Paris. Then one looked really familiar, and you visited the one I knew about!!!! wasn't expecting that because it was way outside the first.
I've been to most of those passages and am enjoying many items purchases there, from scarves, to a lovely necklace, to silly souvenirs. If you go to Paris be sure not to miss them...Passage Vivienne has one of the best scarf shops in Paris. Warning, expensive but worth every penny. Any scarf purchased there is so soft and silky, it's just a pleasure to wear and will last you forever. Can't remember the name but it's impossible to miss.

Thanks for showing us a part of Paris most tourists don't see. Last year my wife and I spent a day exploring those passages and wandering through that neighborhood. It's great to see those places again but a bit bittersweet since we were supposed to leave for France last week. I'm hoping to visit in the Fall but that may be too optimistic.
My spouse and I stayed in a hotel located there for about 10 days. Watching this video really made me miss that part of Paris (all of Paris actually) because of the wonderful memories it brought back to me. I’m sharing this video with friends and family as a result.

It’s a bit bittersweet to watch this right now, knowing nearly everything is closed and nearly everyone in confinement. But oh what beauty. It made me remember my own flâneuring of the passages. What a really nice day you two had! 👍🏼✌🏼

I enjoyed this, I have been wanting to see more of Paris in your vlogs, see the shops and houses, the streets. I would like to see the building and streets right close to jays apt. too. Paris has lovely wide avenues and those passages.

I found that Park when I visited Paris for the first time, so glad that I walked around the city finding hidden gems, than to take the metro around the city :)
oh! the winged foxes! I was in that passage... Didn't get to visit Galerie Vivienne though. My week long visit to Paris was in November 2015. And it tragically coincided with the terrorist attacks. After that, walking around Paris felt a little weird...
Great tour - the passages are some of my favorite things to visit in Paris! They feel very “Parisian”, so thanks for sharing. ☺️ Thought I’d quickly share our experience of trying to carry-on our sleeve of pâtes de fruits in January. We literally shut down the security line as they thought the package they saw in the scanner was an explosive. It took a bit and my husband had to take every single thing out of his bag. They explained to us, after bringing in a half dozen or so additional security officials that it was very serious and they were very nervous. So, maybe pull it out of your bag and put it in clear view, or check them if you’re taking them home. 😳
Think we’ll be able to travel again by years end? 😩 finally booked my Paris/Barcelona trip for NEW YEARS. Booked 3 weeks before this shit hit the fan. Crossing my fingers I’ll still be able to go

In Brazil we have the biggest population of Japanese descent in the world so it's no surprise to me that there's a place that's a mix of Japan and South America! :-)
