The Coverups are a cover band consisting of:
Billie Joe Armstrong- Guitar/Vocals
Mike Dirnt- Guitar/Vocals
Jason White- Guitar/Vocals
Bill Schneider- Bass
Chris Dugan- Drums
I don't know what the deal is, but my videos with the GH5S look washed out to me. I think I need to change the setting away from "flat" color settings. Huge thanks to Frank Yeeann Chan for yelling over to me when I was walking by, and letting me hang out with him- it turned out to be a pretty nice plan to video.
I also have a 2nd angle that should edit together nicely, if I can figure out how to increase contrast on this video.

To this day Green Day is one of the most entertaining bands over the past 30 years. This is a great cover concert by Billie Joe and the gang! Green Day roll into Jacksonville and Miami with Weezer, Fall Out Boy and the Interrupters for the HELLA MEGA Tour on July 31 and August 1st COVID permitting. The tour is supposed to start in Europe and come over here to the states from June to August. Can't ****ing wait, all are great bands!

You can always add a LUT to your washed out image, even customize your own in either premiere or davinci...... Great vid and sound... thx for filming and sharing

Good recording man, thanks for putting it on a tripod! haha. It is definitely your picture profile on the GH5s this mode (V-LOG) is meant for cinematographers - it gives them more room for color correction in post. be happy to touch it up if it bothers you that much - thanks!

So glad they did Johnny Thunders' Born To Lose! I was in a punk bar band in the late '70s-early '80s and we did that one (as well as Sheena and Dancing' With Myself). We didn't sound much different than these guys! Good to see them going back to their roots and having some fun.

Fender made some guitars out of reclaimed wood from the old benches at the Hollywood Bowl: wood knots and seat numbers untouched. His guitar looks like one of them. Pretty cool that he has #13.

Thanks for the video (and all others from the Bay Area)! It's great, don't mind ungraded material either. (But if it still bothers you, flat is for keeping more image quality information in a footage and providing standardized/neutral image color scheme (thus looks washed out) and is meant for easier grading in postproduction according to your visual preference. You probably don't want to waste much time grading, so applying a decent LUT will do the trick.)

It's not a problem of contrast, but a lack of colors because of the setting of your camera, like you said in the description, you just need to boost them up in your post-production software. If you look at your video, you will notice the colors we see the most are blue and green, so the red is missing the most. I hope this will help you. However, thanks a lot from uploading this one million times!!
