Yes, it’s true! It is coming! However, it’s third on the lineup of systems it’s releasing on, with PC and mobile coming before it. That being said, I’m very happy it’s coming on switch, regardless of how far its release is. :)
It's way too sickly sweet to remind me of either. The thing that makes those franchises special to me is that they balance it all out with a little bit of darkness. This game... they aren't doing that. The world feels like it has as much depth as their plushie storefront page.
I recommend u play Stardew valley then. I used to absolutely LOVE harvest moon and Stardew valley is just like it but a thousand times more complex and never ever gets boring

Not only that, but with the amount of content that they've unlocked it just wouldn't be possible for them to release the game any earlier! Unless they went into Early Access on Steam super early ^^ I'm positive that they'll do their very best to make their vision come true, but it's bound to take a lot of time - probably more than anticipated after such a successful campaign!

the kickstarter has gone incredibly well! we reached all the goals including the extra goals! it'll be available for pc, mobile, and switch (because they reached the switch goal)

The votes are final and the biome to be added is: "Eternal Night Celestial" - The final biome to be unlocked was an AMUSEMENT PARK, full of games and activities specifically designed with multiplayer in mind. I’m always shocked that people forget about Harvest Moon, as it predates stardew and animal crossing new horizons by decades. But this game gives me the same farming and explorative comfort that Harvest moon games have always given me! To me, most of the inspiration from this game isn’t from new animal crossing or stardew, but the original animal crossing and older harvest moon games💕 idk where we’ll all be in 2025, but I hope I remember this game by then
Harvest moon went downhill waaaay back, that's why Concerned Ape came up/created "Stardew Valley" because there isn't a good harvest moon games since, I believe, "Back To Nature" from PS1. I'm with Concerned Ape, I love Harvest Moon, but let's admit that Natsume couldnt create a good one since then.

for a company that isn't actually a gaming company but a plushie company, I applaud this! They really thought things through. The town looks amazing, I wanna just run around in it and the townfolks are just just adorable! I do hope that you could be friends with them and have different conversations with them as your bond gets stronger

Game hasn't even come out and I'm already in love with it. Buttons looking like he was waving made me cry because hes so darn cute. This game has everything I love. Collection, cuteness, puns.. and sooo much more. I can't wait. I wish I had money to give. The outfits, the houses and the plushies all look so great too! ;-;
As someone who doesn't play games like this. This is honestly one of the best looking games. I absolutely love the art style and attention to detail. I will probably give this genre a try just because of this game

Why? There's many other similar cute wholesome games like this one. Like Mario, Kirby, and Animal Crossing. Check out Madmorph who likes to play a lot of this genre. Gab Smolders too. But she likes to play some horror games too. Look up chibi.
I squeed the whole way through this video! This might be the first Kickstarter i put money into. And the plushies, oh the plushies, especially the little shroom guy, Gus. He's too precious. It kind of reminds me of Garden Paws, but so much more. I need this cuteness in my life. Thank you for bestowing such adorableness upon my soul

For a game that’s coming out in 2025, this game looks AMAZING! I know Animal Crossing is in the same genre, but I’ve never played it and for some reason this game looks so appealing to me! I think I’d play this game over animal crossing!
Animal Crossing is a top tier game though, it's a bit silly to throw out such an amazing experience opportunity just because you like the look of this awesome & adorable game, play both if you have the change to and I promise you won't regret it! :)
I personally grew tired of ACNH rather quickly. I loved animal crossing games as a kid, but as an adult, they just don't hold my interest like they used to. I'm looking forward to something new, even if we have to wait for it!

I’ve been following both Lily and fluffnest so when they announced a game I knew I’d sell my soul to play this. Also couldn’t be more ecstatic that it hit both switch port and multiplayer. Let’s not forget the awesome KSE Plushies ✨their plushies are nice as well (coming from someone who owns all the sheep and bean XD)
I understand being enthusiastic but it unsettles me that people take promotional material for a kickstarter as 100% guaranteed features Maybe that's because as an EA player i'm used to forgotten promises and never-to-be-fixed buggy nightmares But I still think people should be careful not overhyping a project at early stages

I have faith tbh, this kinda reminds me of Omori’s kickstarter. Omori’s kickstarter also started with a bunch of hype and received tons of donations, but due to the long wait they started to get accused of lying. But everything turned out awesome and the game is great :) but i do agree with your your point, but still i have a lot of faith in this game lol.
I grew up with Animal Crossing, so this game is AMAZING! It's so aesthetically pleasing, adorable, cute, breathtaking, and I CAN GO ON ALL DAY!!! But I really hope they can get maybe a bigger developing team on this game so we as players can have earlier access to the public and so they can spend time on other ideas.

I donated $20 to the kickstarter a while ago, I just REALLY hope it’s not a scam because lots of other kickstarters have been. In the kickstarter they’re charging $50 for house exteriors so I’m wondering if even after you buy the game when it comes out if the stuff you want to unlock will cost money??? If that’s the case I don’t really support that. Stardew Valley is a great game with TONS of content and only costs a one time payment of $15, there are also free mods & free texture packs if you want to amplify your game play. This is the first and only one I’ve ever donated money too. I’m super excited for it to be released but also scared I’m going to lose my money.
While I am sure some scummy people do in fact make scams on Kickstarter, this does not seem like one. While I do agree their asking prices for the exclusive content seems a bit high, they are at least being very transparent about where the money is going.

Considering the amount of effort that goes into making a game, I’m happy to pay for expansions in games like these. I get why people may be upset with certain gacha systems as it gets people addicted and doesn’t even guarantee that they’ll get anything worth what they paid, but I don’t really see the harm in having one time payments for items in-game.

So yeah, it's a cute game, and I'll watch any updates you have on it. . . But losing the Moth House is a huge blow in my book.
Hahaha, please no, grandpa...but yeah, $50 is STEEP for any KS exclusive item. There's thousands of people that disagree though, or are caught up in the hype, however, so more power to them. The game will still be just as great in a normal, non-moth, non-pumpkin house though!
@@DoctorDDub It's not even the price itself, of course, it *is* expensive, as far as I'm concerned (specially with exchange rates), but I'm the type of person that if I like something enough, I won't have much problem in pumping money into the thing, so if the game was already out, and I had played it a little to see how much I like it, and the Moth House was available as DLC (much like other games and their clothes DLCs), I would probably hesitate, but I would still buy it. However, we all have seen our fair share of Kickstarter projects that went nowhere even with their goal met, or that weren't able to deliver on everything they promised, as such, being the pessimist I'm, I'm not willing to pay that much for an exclusive item that have no certainty of ever being reality. Tl;dr: If the Moth House is still available for purchase post-launch, then I'll probably buy it. That's it, sorry for the little rant.
DoctorDDub did a great job covering this game. It’s absolutely adorable, like they combined Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing. It would be awesome if this was on the Switch shop, but I imagine that will take a long time if it ever does happen

I am playing coral island in alpha test so can't say much about it other than... I have no idea what you define as good graphics, but Coral Island has really good graphics, in my opinion way better than this even though this also looks good :)
@@frillen5834 It's definitely not the worst but for me it's like so generic. Also I don't like that bird's view angle, but let's see, they may change it later on and they're still working on it so perhaps it's still too soon to really know
They plan to add pan/tilt/zoom to the camera, if that makes any difference. And I love both their styles for different reasons. Coral Island may not be as vibrant, but holy hell do they have detail. In literally every single corner of the game, from what I've seen. This is a lot less detailed, but still so nice in its own right!

Thank you for sharing this, it looks adorable!! This is the first game to really remind me of my favorite 2008 Facebook game, Pet Society which left me heartbroken when it was bought out and then immediately shut down by evil EA.
I got a Buster the Lavender Cow from them not that long ago (highly recommend, extremely fluffy and very squishable. Has helped me through numerous sad nights) and I am SO excited for this game. I don't really know how kickstarter works yet, but for this game I will look into it more so I can support it. It doesn't happen often that you can claim to have game merch before the game even exists. Seeing my favorite purple cow in the game shots makes me so happy!!

This is a really pretty looking game. If you'd given this to me blind, I would have guessed it was a mid-size to AAA studio Switch release. They've really got a strong idea of the aesthetic and vibe they're going for. I guess the long development timeframe is because they are working with a smaller team and have to account for making lots of Kickstarter bonuses. Hoping the devs succeed!
This is like a super cute and cozy animal crossing meets harvest moon, it looks extremely promising! It kills me that the wait is this long, but hopefully the wait will be worth it. I don’t know if I’d want it on PC or Switch lol.

I'm coming from the SunnySide server and watched the whole video! I learned about PuffPals just the day before yesterday and I'm so into it! It's adorable in every single way! It really reminds me of Animal Crossing and it has Fishing AND Cooking AND house customization which is a hundred plus for me! The artstyle is extremely cute and the whole atmosphere gives me the feel of living in a fairytale! I hope they surpass their and our expectations by a lot and hit success! My god. A game company named ‘Fluff Nest’, complete with cute plushies and a wholesome game in the works? I never thought I’d be so excited!! I’ll probably save up for a plush from them!
A 3D Harvest Moon successor I wanted. I hope the gameplay loop and the NPC interactions are deep. Like the one thing I remember about the original Mineral Town Harvest Moon was that it took a year (in-game) to become a close friend to the NPCs, and that it had multiple years long NPC story line and progression that doesn’t revolve around the player (although the remake removed that, when it was the best feature that make the town alive).
I think I watched approximately 10 seconds of this video before I went and preordered it. God bless the RU-vid algorithm for recommending this video to me.
I remember when I first saw an add for this on instagram. Everyone called it a rip off of animal crossing. I remember when the models looked like paper dolls, and when they first launched their kickstarter. I am so happy knowing they managed to get it out, and I feel like a proud mom. I can’t wait until it’s out to buy.

I've already commented like twice but THE HOME CUSTOMIZATION LOOKS SO GOOD OH MY GOD!!! IT'S LITERALLY THE GAME OF MY DREAMS??? 😭 I've been just thinking about how badly I want something with in-depth home customization that isn't just The Sims or Animal Crossing, the latter I can't even currently afford. And this game looks to be everything I wanted and more in that regard *alone*, but everything else seems perfect, too!

I’m even an aspiring plush maker. I cannot express how excited I am for this. I love the customisation, the adorable creatures, the beautiful landscapes,…everything!!
These types of games also inspire me to live a similar life in the real world. I want to try farming and gardening. I want to go out there and do stuff. It reminds me that life can be better and it doesn’t have to be so stressful ..
I like that they aren't of the "it will come soon" type, but really say that we have to wait for years. What i don't like are the tiers ... it just seems over the top that you only get a special house design at 50$ ... this should be to help them develop and not to get "prepurchase only" stuff
it is to help them develop, its just more of a thank you for the investment, obviously the more someone invests into the game, the bigger the 'thank you' gift they get. Because the devs appreciate that investing into a kickstarting game is a lot of money. It isn't supposed to be a case of 'oh i want that thing but it costs $50', Its not a retail shop. Its a complimentary gift to an investment.

It's also pricey bc it's an exclusive for backers only. The only other way to get the exclusive house design is to pay for the $250 reward tier so I think it's really awesome of them to offer it as an add on for $50. As well as the other add ons that start at $10. Plus I think all the tiers are very well put together, if I had the money I would have gotten all the extra goodies! Lol So it's nice to at least be able to afford some of the add ons/exclusive extras to my alpha access pledge.
