The Cranberries performing Linger at Woodstock '94. Rare video, I extracted it from an old Chilean TV show; then I replaced the audio with a bootleg mp3. aguass www.cranadictos.blogspot.com
I've been listening to their music a lot today. Now I've been checking out their live performances. Man, were they good live. Rip Dolores, what a beautiful voice

I just have one question, this goes out to anybody who attended Woodstock 94, and at the time never even heard of the Cranberries, how could you not have fallen in love with the band after hearing that song right there and then.
Okay, who does she know? No mortal could produce such perfect sound quality in an outdoor concert. We know she has an amazing voice, and the song is a classic studio production. But how do you manage to make it sound so perfect out of doors? Somebody up there is helping her, I'm telling ya.
She was quite a little pixie. I saw an interview of her band members talking about when the were in their early days of starting out, she would actually sleep laying cross ways across the members laps in the back seat between shows. I'm convinced they all cared deeply for her. Very touching
the best group I've seen live, and I'm a jazz/funk man, by nature, probably only the clash, would've been as good if id managed to see them in concert, she is the coolest woman that's ever picked up a guitar, and her voice is truly unique and very special, please let me go back in time
Songs like Linger and Mazzy Stars 'Fade into You' and 4 Non Blonde's 'What's Up' were true timeless gems from the early '90's that stir powerful, spine chilling, emotions to this day. I have not heard any new artist since then replicate that sound and feeling in the same vain; probably because these artists have already been there, done that. The '90's alternative and grunge scene was truely unique and is desperately missed.
My God it's a fabulous voice!!!!! why does time have to go by so fast...why do good things have to go... such a lovely voice one day will fade away and will never be heard live again...i can't think it...too bad some people have never recognized the talent...the beauty...the messages..everything
Such a Terrible Tragedy. Dolores Was an Exceptional Singer with a Angelic Voice! Her Phrasing was Only Matched by Her Physical Beauty... RIP Sweet Spirit.
Man,(being from Ulster County)I love this whole festival but the Cranberries were surely one of the most pleasant surprises of the whole deal! Great clip from a great SET!
great job! this song deserves it, i never realized quite how good and original they were when all this was going down, but now i hear this and memories come flooding in.
Witnessed this /1994 also caught them in Central Park the thursday night before woodstock & the trip to Cairo New York Great Memories reminds me of my Swiss friend Karen Frey that loved the Band Fanatically!
you gotta search for it but there is a version of this where she plays this song on some morning show for a disabled gal. something about it was incredibly powerful... it almost brought this old man to tears... i couldn't tell you what it is aout that video i mean she's even slightly off-key at the beginning... enough rambling go check it out for yourselves! peace
No worries. Dolores still sings and tours. She and the boys(Hogans) just did a show in Dublin last week. Dolores is solo now and on her 2nd solo album and will be touring again in 2009, singing alot of the Cranberries songs of course:)
