Potatoe Face, ah, okay. I like the video - the throws so much. If you see these in action, the defense and you, as a spectator, are going, where the fuck is the disc? And I grew up in the 70's so, these shorts seem normal. "Normal" shorts look like culottes, which are like pants girls sometimes wore which showed their ankles. I can see that he's being goofy, with the whole aside about his jorts and range of motion. But the throws are seriously legit. Check out a video on the Tech Nine and NInja Flick in actual play.

Lately I've seen a lot of pros doing these throws so i feel like their not as effective anymore. A lot of markers are starting to learn counters and i cant seem to get the ninja flick to my receivers. Any tips to improve my ninja flick?

Hey, Brodie. Nice throws, but I can't take you seriously in those "mama jeans". I know this was some sort of joke, but people, if you want to keep your man card and still have extra mobility in you legs and hips wear some running shorts or soccer shorts. They are the same length, and you won't look like a teenage girl while wearing them. Seriously, at 3:30 he starts to look like a Ken doll. I wouldn't take you seriously if you came on the field like that.

Coming from a fellow Jory wearer, Harry Westlake, in order to perform my best on the ultimate field, I'd willingly sacrifice aesthetic appeal in order to out move and out play you. When YOU are a national champion that can throw a 75 yard huck with pinpoint accuracy like Brodie, THEN you can judge the way he dresses. Actually I know Philthy (who sent him the Tec-9) and if you don't release it as flat as Brodie does in the video, it can totally break the mark. That said, it's a pretty blind throw, but Philthy uses it in pick up games all the time and it works. It's also hilarious.

jolts are for pricks and these throws are stupid ! especially if you have to consider wind. Plus basic throws like an inside-out side arm break done well are very effective. Because basic ultimate done well is the best, none of this showing off freestyle crap !

Haha, awesome video. Personally, I prefer the behind the back switch to the lefty backhand over the ninja flick. Get more extension. Oh and the jorts are cool, but id make them shorter if i were you. Chicks dig that :p

that's the advantage of jorts. everyone else's shorts are too long, they have no movement. plus thry provide a good distraction. they're basically legal steroids for your legs.

Brodie, youve inspired me to be great at throwing a frisbee. Next year Ill be going to KU and im going to try to join their Intramural team for ultimate and hopefully your help will let me do great things haha :P
