Fun fact: The headsmen sometimes scream "ZABÍT" upon noticing you, it means kill in czech

Ahhh, so that's what it is. I kept hearing "DAVID". Also smth like "ZABITE NARUSHITELE" sometimes (I don't know Czech)

18:11 there is actually a place called that in the Czech republic, it is named that because the famous (in czechia) writer Božena Němcová lived there, and her most famous work was "Babička" meaning granny in English

3:25 that is actually reference to an old czechoslovak 1965 movie called "Bílá paní" 11:11 that is the sound former czech president Miloš Zeman did.

Took me watching a few other vids about HROT to realize this, but the chapter title is a reference to the fact that the final boss is Gustav Husak's floating head. So you're performing a De-Gustation.

Hrot is easily my favorite of all the modern crop of 'boomer shooters'. Everything about it is great; from map design to the weapon balance and classic movement and feel of the game. The fact it's made by one man is also incredible.
