Immora should have been split into 3 levels, storming the outer wall, fighting through the more hellish underbelly of the city, then finally acending into the main portion.
I feel like for the next DOOM game, ID can have different variations of the Marauder. They can still include the regular Marauder, as we’ve seen in Eternal. And then include the ones from the scrapped concept art with different fighting styles. Like, imagine having a Marauder wield a hammer.
I would rather the marauder to be a rival and getting more stronger as the game goes on and it should have the early art design too it's litterally the coolest thing I've ever seen and you're right it should have the hammer
I don't think id software makes the same game as DooM Eternal. Most likely it will be a completely different experience and it is unlikely that the marauder will return, at most a continuation of his ideas in a different interpretation. Making the same game over and over = too boring for those who have already learned how to play Eternal
Yeah marauder being normal enemy doesn’t work well, but since they introduced him as a race of demons they can do concept of ,,the last marauder” which will act as a major villain instead of one of the many of his kind
@@lkosuic4082 Having the Marauder make another appearance wouldn't make the next game the same as Eternal and boring because of the lack of innovation. They can still change the way the Marauder works. That's like saying Eternal was boring because most of its demons acted almost identically to the ones in Doom 2016. The Cacodemon is the Cacodemon, the Hell Knight is the Hell Knight, and the Imp is the Imp. You can let the demons remain the same and just change the gameplay mechanics to the point when they're fresh.
different models for Carcasses representing different enemy types that Doom Slayer slaughtered in the thousands before seems like a great idea, and I think concept art Immora looks much better, but I'd expect it to be more like the Ingmore Sanctum, with that pale-bone colored organic architecture with minimal detail
the doomguy-like maruder would have been really cool, when i was alot worse at DE, the marauder already felt like an enemy meant to be more on your level, going all the way with "anti-doomguys" (similar to the evil marines from scythe 2, but probably as more of a boss or mini-boss) would have been really cool. the scraped immora also looks alot better.
I wish we would be able to listen to the cut content that was Mick Gordon’s work on the OST. From the small bits that we hear back when early gameplay was released, there were some tracks that sounded beautiful that never made it into the final game, along with essentially half of Mick’s work never being included in the final product.
I think what could have done is that gladiator use version of doom 3 hell knight mix with guardian of hell from doom 3 to make more this And more focus with classic version. Just like dread knight had there.
My problem with Immora is that it looks way too inspired by Star Wars and isn't what I imagine when I think of the home of Davoth. I think more like Hellish dark and bloody dungeons and caves. Similar to maybe Titan's Realm from 2016 but even more Hellish.
They should have cut the turret enemies, the spirits, the platforming, and the purple goo that stops you from moving faster. Game would be a solid 6.5/10 if they did that.
Everything that was cut from this game looked so good. I would really enjoy the next doom game if they went for a unsettling and disturbing look to it. Like the concept art for the carcass was perfect
