Sang den som medlem af Tønder seminariums kor først i 80'erne. Dejligt at høre den igen!

I never got to sing this but two visiting choirs did ( Malden High Malden MA- mid 70’s) and i was obsessed with it for decades. So happy it can be found online now. I even bought the sheet music.

My High School A-choir did this in 70-71, even put it on our album but the recording quality wasn't the best. LOVE IT, and yes, sing along with it...

Wow! I just want to say Thank you! This is the best version I've heard in years. I did The Creation in high school, many moons ago, and have passed my love of the piece on to my children. Your voices are fantastic, the speed is right on, and the accompaniment is amazing. Bravo!!!

Agreed! I passed it along on to my own students in 2002!

Steven Porter guest conducted the Niskayuna HS choir in 1975 in a performance of The Creation-and we got to visit his choir for a joint concert at Jericho HS (Long Island). One of the great joys of my young years. Years later, I conducted it with a church youth choir. Thanks for this lovely recording.

Reminds me of the epic force that was Joan Goschke and choir. Such a good version of The Creation.

Oh Mike, what memories this brings back from our North Georgia days! I think the Chorale did this even before I was playing for you!

I had this song floating in my head for the past few hours. Thanks to a quick Google, I found it and was thrilled to hear this song performed excellently. I played drums when our high school did this in the late '70s. I even got goose bumps on some of the same parts (especially the high soprano notes) of the piece!

So thrilled to find this wonderful rendition of the cantata I’ve loved since doing it at Forest Hills Presbyterian Tampa in the early 70s! Thank you for sharing it here!

Our 9th grade choir performed this 50 years ago and recorded it on vinyl. Such wonderful memories!

Love this cantata and 50 years ago my High school choir director performed it. Never forget of course.

Thank you! This brings back wonderful memories! While our HS never performed this, we enjoyed playing around with it, and I've had to content myself with memories. Your rendition of this exceeds my imagination. Dr. O'Neal - you've payed fine attention to the details. I enjoyed the dynamics, the rhythms, the soloists, and especially the stylistic transitions. I've saved this to my favorites so that I can listen often. (I can't say enough, so I'll just stop. Beautiful!)

Oh Em Gee ... the best, most accurate, version I’ve heard since my hs and undergrad in the 80’s! Glorious! Thanks so much for the memories! May I please join? I was once the T1 solo in PA UG back in college!

Go on Alto I’s - third day - “and the lord said (lord said)... let there be light in the ^HEAVENS...” - only my favorite alto line ever written! “HEAVENS” so beautifully hit!

How did I miss this concert? Athens Master Chorale did this 10 years ago and it remains one of my faves!
