This is what happened with the Death Note anime. they all picked the guy who was the crazy omega level fan of the source material to run the thing bc he wanted to stay as true as possible.

One cameo that even content creators missed or mis-interpreted, was the doll in Bastion's room. It wasn't a Sentinel, it was Machine Man, as one of his arms was extended as Machine Man's does.

Feel like that would kinda take away cyclops shine as this was definitely his season to shine. Unlike the movies he was treated well here. I also prefer if they do the blue and gold story where we can have 2 leaders.

I know there's a lot of desire to seeing more of Storm/Wolverine. I think it's because people are viewing this just in the vacuum of season 1. I'm sure once we are able to see the saga as a whole they'll have their moments. I think the creative team is intentionally building up the less established characters while still giving the favorites important arcs/moments.

I get wanting to see more of Storm, but to say we didn't see much of her (11:00) in season 1 is 🧢 We saw more of her than more than half of the main cast. I'd be interested in someone tallying the seconds of screentime for each character over season one, but I'm sure Storm was on screen more than: wolverine, morph, beast, gambit, bishop, cable

But what did she do? What was her contribution! No one got more screen time than. Rogue,cyclops Jean magneto and professor hogged the screen upon his entry.Bishop,Storm,Morph and beast did nothing of consequence moving the story forward. Even sunspot and jubilee got more done

@@andrewb1147 She got a couple episodes dedicated to her. I think the reality is and maybe that falls on the creative team....Rogue/Magneto was far more interesting than Storm/Forge. Storm still got her moments but adapting Life Death was always going to be tricky as far as moving the plot forward.

In my initial comment, I addressed (and timestamped) the statement she made alleging we _"didn't see much of her."_ and then pointed out that we saw MORE of her than half the main cast. Your question/statement(?!?!?!?!) 🧐 is bringing up other issues. Stick to the point instead of jumping onto tangents. But I can make tangential points too... like bringing up the *_FACT_* that X-Men 97, Season 1 was *_THE BEST_* representation of Storm, with *_THE MOST SHINE_* that she's ever gotten in motioned media (i.e. live action movies, animated movies, live action television, animated television) up to this point in time. But even still, this tangential point doesn't change the fact I pointed out in my original post.

Lies, I counted her on time screen, it was less than even beast lol. She came in second to last after gambit. Her time was 16min in total for that rushed life death arc

Except Beau Demayo said she and Cyclops would be the main leads. Building unrealistic expectations for her character. Also, Morph, Beast, and Bishop are not on Storm's level. Gambit was killed halfway through the season, so that doesn't count considering his episode was the most iconic. None of the characters you mentioned, aside from Gambit and Wolverine, were main characters in the original show. Let alone main characters of a X-men focused cast. We all know why Wolverine took a back seat. Jean, Cyclops, Magneto, and Rogue took the lion's share of the focus, while Storm's episodes had to be shared with other characters as a backdrop because the execs didn't feel her story would be appealing on its own.

Because life and death was a storm storyline, which many characters didn’t get in 97. We didn’t get much of wolverine, night crawler, and only got cameos of other fan favorite characters.

@@sionel2604 I’m speaking of 97 exclusively. Where Storm is missing through several episodes. You keep mentioning Wolverine, he’s one of the most overrespresented Xmen characters. The team intentionally gave him a backseat because he always was given more attention in TAS.

@@blackgirlnerdsBGN To be fair Cyclops and Jean were not in episodes 4 and 6 at all. Xavier missed most of the season. Gambit was out after episode 5. I think if anything they should have made episode 4 longer. And maybe brought Storm back in episode 8 instead. Other than that they did a solid juggling act. Although all parties would be better served if Disney allowed it to be 45 min episodes instead.

I actually agree that he should take a back seat, but that was not what I said. Storm did miss a few episodes but to say we didn’t get much of her is wild. Life and death part 1 & 2 was dedicated to her. They were literally storm focused storylines. Many characters were missing in many episodes. Colossus is my favorite character and we only got a glimpse of him via morph and his photo on the wall in the last episode. We could argue that we didn’t get much of him but to say that about storm is wild.

Why would Forge rebuild the xmen? Accourding to xmen 97 he hasnt known the team for more than 5 minutes and he's not even part of it. 🤣😂 These writers were the worse. Anything "good" from the show was stolen from the comics. They ripped off many scenes, stories, and the dialogue was verbatim from the comics. They couldn't even create new dialogue. 🤣😂
