The Creator 4k Ultra HD Bluray Steelbook Unboxing & 4k Review. (Not The 4k Transfer I Was Expecting) 

I'm not sure Matt but for some strange reason I went into this with my expectations somewhat low and I honestly do not know why. Like I said in the video I rather enjoyed it but it's nothing we haven't seen before already. I was impressed by how it looked particularly when you consider it's budget

I have been there done it myself Ian. Hopefully the movie got you at the wrong time and fingers crossed you'll get more from it on your second viewing

@@millerman9991 yeh mate , I was actually enjoying it . Started resting one eye , then before you know it the credits were coming up 😴! I got to the point they were in the van trying to cross the security stop point. Hopefully watch it Saturday night, my exorcist believer 4k should be here for Friday.

lol. I fell asleep at the movie theatre watching the Phantom Menace. I guess there was a few minutes that I snored which supposedly got a few chuckles from what my friend said.

I think the last movie I actually fell asleep at was 28 Days Later and the funny thing about it is my brother was with me and he also fell asleep. Thank god we were the only two people in the cinema.

Just out of curiosity Cheekster how did the movie look in IMAX because I was told a lot of people weren't particularly impressed with it and apparently the 4K disc looks better which is ridiculous when you think about it

@@millerman9991 - I had read some comments online beforehand so I went in knowing that it wasn’t going to look 4K crispy. Partly due to the budget and also a stylistic choice, I guess. It was not unwatchable by any means even on a 26.5m wide screen.

Yeah it's kind of the same when it comes to the 4K disc. It's not unwatchable. I just expected a lot more from it but again that has nothing to do with the 4K release. It's a shame because I think it could have elevated the movie that little bit more

Unfortunately Roy it's not a whole lot better. It's one of the most disappointing 4K transfers I've seen but again it's nothing to do with the disc itself it's how the movie was shot unfortunately. Thank you as always for taking the time to stop by

I am somewhat conflicted when it comes to this movie and it's transfer because the reason to why the movie looks the way it does is clearly to do with its budget. They are definitely trying to hide certain things in terms of CGI. It's such a shame because the movie is not actually that bad even though it's by no means original. It deserves to look so much better

I'm not going to like Colum it's probably one of the most disappointing 4K disc I have ever seen. But that's largely down to the way the movie was actually shot and it is a shame because if it was anyway pristine the movie would have been so much more enjoyable. Don't get me wrong I had a fun time with it but there is so much potential there. Give it a go and see what you think yourself

Yeah I was pleasantly surprised myself. I'm not sure why I was surprised because there was a great team behind that movie with a fantastic cast. But for some strange reason my expectations were slightly low for it.

I love the artwork on the standard slip case. I seen someone unboxing one and I was massively impressed and like I said in the video I think it's better than the Steelbook in terms of its artwork

Like I said in the video Gary the movie itself has a specific look and the 4K disc captures that look beautifully but it's not what you call one of the most visually beautiful looking 4K transfers. I would nearly go as far as to say I was somewhat disappointed but thankfully the Dolby Atmos rescued it for me. Give it a go and see what you think

I'm watching the Liverpool game at the moment. So far so very good

I know you're not the biggest fan of CGI Carlos but the way they handle it in this movie is quite impressive considering it doesn't have what you call a massive budget for a big sci-fi epic. Like I said in the video it does come at a price and it's how it actually looks. But other than that I found it to be a fun sci-fi movie and it's very original even though it does borrow heavily from other movies. I hope you enjoy it whenever you get around to checking it out

It's an original science fiction movie Marty and you know as well as I do you don't see too many of them nowadays. It's definitely worth giving it a go. Whether you want to see it on 4K I will leave that up to you.

Nothing will ever get that bad. Correction I might have a potential disaster coming my way in terms of 4K picture quality. It's a horror movie called Reeker and it's another German release on 4k. Apparently it looks terrible but unfortunately I didn't check out the reviews before ordering

It's an original sci-fi movie Steve and I thought it was very enjoyable. I think you'll get something from it. But like I said in the video just don't go into this movie thinking you are going to be seeing an absolute stellar looking 4K picture because unfortunately it does have that stylistic look that doesn't lend well to 4k. The Atmos is fantastic so at least it has that going for it

I'm think I'm gonna pass on that one because I can't imagine it looking any better than it does at the moment.

Like I said in the video John the movie doesn't reinvent the wheel but it's a fun sci-fi movie with a fantastic cast and it looks good to a certain extent. When it comes to the James Cameron movies the one I'm most anxious about is aliens. I can't stress you how much I want that to look it's absolute best and I really hope it delivers

Like I said in the video Chris it doesn't give us anything new but I enjoyed it for what it is. Some great performances and it is quite impressive to look at considering its budget. I'm actually looking forward to my second viewing of it. It's just a shame the 4K transfer is such a let down but that's not to do with the disc itself unfortunately. I really need to pre-order Leviathan myself. That's a blast from the past

I'm not going to lie Martin it's probably one of the most disappointing 4K discs I have ever seen. This movie should have looked absolutely pristine but because it has that stylistic look it absolutely spoils it. It's a shame because it's a decent movie

Honestly Alexander I can't see this Steelbook selling out any time soon so you should be fine. I have to admit the standard version looks equally as beautiful. You are absolutely correct Alexander. Just check out one of my favorite movies Assault on Precinct 13. That was inspired by George Romero's night of the Living Dead. It actually feels like the same movie

Yeah unfortunately it has a strange aspect ratio that you don't see too often. I'm not going to lie Gareth I didn't particularly notice it when I watched the first time. It's not to say I won't on my second viewing

Hey Patrick. Those glue spots can be lethal particularly on collector's releases. The amount of editions I have seen where people ripped the backs of them because of those glue spots. Thankfully it's not much of an issue when it comes to steelbooks. Still need to pick up Prey. I haven't even seen the movie

@@millerman9991 Yeah, I really don't understand the point of them. Why are they even necessary? They're only causing damage. It's good to see Disney has finally stopped using them. Now they still have to tell the Germans about it. I really enjoyed Prey. I think the Steelbook looks good as well.

I honestly haven't gotten around to checking out the special features as of yet. I'm almost certain there is only one feature and it's an hour making of. Whether it's featured in there I honestly don't know. Apologies I couldn't be anymore helpful

Honestly Pascal I had absolutely no issues at all when it came to the sound. Having said that I was looking at the 4k. I never checked out the Blu-rays sound

I mostly with new movies buy the bluray because the different to 4k i think is not that much that s give it a whole different experience like 3d vs bluray did. The sound on this bluray was really not that great in mine opinion. I know with Disney you must crank up the volume but not that much Maybe i have a faulty disk dont know because all the reviews are only the 4k version. If you in the future have some time maybe you can check it out for me.

Me personally Pascal when it comes to 4K I do get more enjoyment out of seeing the older movies more than the latest. It's on the older releases where I really start to see a huge upgrade in picture quality. But whenever I have a chance to I promise you I will check out that sound and get back to you
