I think it would be interesting to see the defense side of the case. Where each offense is either proved true or false based on the evidence. I know though it would be a lot of work to pull off.

I'm more here for the editing and motion graphic aspects, and holy cow you do not disappoint once again my good sir! Everything is so gorgeously made, all the small details on the board, Luigi's animations, the sound design and most of all, I love how you synced your voice and animations to the music, that's gotta be really hard even if you practice your script to the music. Well done!

Charges that should be dropped: Theft: Robbery cancels it out Assault: arguable self defense Animal abuse: also self defense, Luigi only attacks the cat after the cat attacks him Kidnapping: alternate universe bs Criminal damage: arguably was forced to fight Unauthorized works: it was all a dream bs Obstruction of correspondence: he didn’t know who it was for so he couldn’t return it Unlawful gambling operation: no proof that legal documents don’t exist Employing minors: toads are old enough to live at homes they aren’t minors Presenting false documents: a lot of people fall for scams without double checking Criminal damage: no one else seemed to know about the place except the main crew, so it was likely not protected by the government at all Forced labor: the majority of the ghosts were under King boo’s influence Luigi actually freed them Civil disorder: Luigi was clearly brainwashed Sentence: 42 years and 6 months, which is a quarter of what was given at the very maximum, probably a lot less than that even. (Really cool video tho)

I was okay when Luigi did criminal damage, kidnapping, forced labor, and employed minors in gambling facilities, but when he jaywalked in Mario is Missing, I lost all my respect for him.

He never stood a chance against the chaotic forces of the internet.

Great video as always. The Phoenix Wright elements and especially the breakdown are amazing touches. I brought up Mr L when you asked for examples of Luigi's dark deeds on twitter and I'm super glad to see that make it in! Much as I detest crimes so lurid as these I do hope we may see more of Mr L someday. For criminology research purposes only, of course!

Can you make a part where someone objects? Here are the things they could say to defend him: He only attacked the cat in LM3 because the cat was attacking him, he was simply defending himself. He also did not intention to destroy the hotel in LM3, the hotel just lost control, it no longer had a purpose to trap people. Plus, his whole intention was to save his friends. And don’t get me started on “fOrCeD lAboR”, in the video evidence shown, the ghosts agreed and wanted to help rebuild the hotel, otherwise they had nowhere to go. In SMB2, he was digging to save the pixies/fairies from the King Wart, he was in a hurry, and he wasn’t stealing Mario’s mail, they live in the same house, and Mario did not care, after all, they are brothers. Plus, you don’t know the age of toads, they have been around for a very long time, and Luigi might have been running a legal casino, you never know what happens off camera. Plus, he was just trying to save yoshi, yoshi had no home or trusted guardian known. And Luigi didn’t know how to treat a baby yoshi, the best he could do was treat him like a baby. Plus, he was only destroying the historic artifact because the skeletal dinosaur was possessed and attacking him. And WOW, it’s like you have never played LM1 before, he was lured to the mansion thinking he won a mansion. Plus in PM:TTYD He could’ve been an accident, and like I said, we don’t know if he could’ve gotten a drivers license or not, but he probably has! And so called “Mr. L” was being mind controlled, which explains his evil schemes in Super Paper Mario. And I’m not done, he was in a hurry to find Mario in Mario Is Missing. Plus, no cars were driving by. AND JAY WALKING ISNT SOMETHING TO BE SO DRAMATIC ABOUT, SO WHAT THE HECK MAN?!!?? *ahem* terribly sorry. But I need more proof that this man is guilty.
