Asallam Alaikum wa Rathmatullahi wa Barakatu I said shahadah in August 2003 when I was 49 years old and will be 63 in July inshallah. i'm not as good of a Muslim as I should be but I still believe. May Allah bless all of my brothers and sisters during this Ramadan and ever after . Masalaama

It's funny how people say Muslims aren't condemning ISIS when almost every sermon on Friday, the speaker condemns ISIS.

I am not worthy to comment here as a kufar. But I am awed and humbled by this lecture and know true wisdom when I hear it. How? Because true wisdom always seeks the path of love, forgiveness, peace, and understanding of the "other" when at all possible.

This Man is a Blessing from Allah swt. May God reward you Sheikh Hamza you are an Inspiration to me brother really I am an admirer of your speeches and your own heart passion and true God Loving nature with compassion. The Prophet saw pbuh warned us many times of what was to come, the Sheikh speaks the truth and is a great example of what a Muslim represents, May Allah swt guide us all to the right path In Shaa Allah

It was very interesting listening to this lecture and as a Roman Catholic it gives me hope that there are Imans out there who are trying desperately to educate young and older Muslims who are losing their way or they are being pulled into a conflict they think is really in support of Islam but is in actual fact is the beginning of the dismantling of Islam.......I pray this does not happen. Bless Hamza Yusuf he was moved to tears while he was praying because he fears for Islam and the world as a whole and the word of god!

Guys isn’t it amazing how the Prophet 1400 years ago predicted isis would come and told us they were bad people and have nothing to do with Islam. How could he have predicted such a thing? I feel like more people need to know that the Prophet already warned us about isis because this is amazing.

I would be the first to admit that my knowledge of Islam is very limited. However, if just half of what Hamza Yusuf says is true then the western public is truly being mislead on a grand scale. I just hope that the words are shared and that many read and then think of his words.

Broke my heart at the end. He has toiled so hard to bridge the gap between Muslims and even outside with non Muslims and as he said, back to square one. The comments in this video are appalling.

Hamza Yusuf is such a gem. I can listen to him for hours. He has such vast knowledge that we don't truly appreciate what we have. May Allah protect him.
