The piece called Crossroads of a Journey. It tells a story of a journey many of us take through life and the crossroads that are dealt with: Anger, disappointment, sadness. But it ends with a sense of hope. My focus on this piece was orchestration. I really wanted to try out different combinations to see what sounded good. It is for a small mixed ensemble of twelve performers: Flute, Clarinet, Bassoon, Trumpet, French Horn, Tuba, Percussion, Piano, Violin, Viola and Cello. Enjoy!
