New to your channel, great video! Think this one will be fun this summer. I think they should have made this guy someone else, for same reasons, as just another story to tell.
Hell I remember they did a TV series. The Crow: Stairway to Heaven. Mark Dacascos played Eric Draven. I tell you I love Mark Dacascos, but as Eric Draven, he sucked I'm sorry to say.
This is my first time watching yall videos. yall hit it right one the dot when you said that they could have chosen any other crow instead of remaking the literally the main crow or they could have gave us a preview or gave us the past lives of every crow in every movie they made then bring the new crow today in the movie. like for example loki
I was delighted to hear Ronin mention the creator of The Crow's inspiration for creating this tragic character. It's great when the hosts of a channel have extensive knowledge of the subject they're speaking on. Kudos to Ronin for mentioning James O' Bar.
I always thought it was crazy Brandon Lee died the Way one of Bruce Lee’s movie characters supposedly died in Game of Death - on set in a gun accident.
One of the other cool details I forgot to mention is we're actually seeing the land of the dead for the first time in a crow movie. That's comic book goodness right there.
This movie really should have taken a cue from The Candyman reboot and been more original yet at the same time building off of the '94 movie as well as the source material.
@@ziggymarley8498 True, even Japan has better 80's and 90's media like Fist of The North Star and Berserk than that action crap in the West that these retro junkies grew up such as Predator and Demolition Man lmfao.
Brother, Predator from 1987 has everything better than the original The Crow from 1994, it lacked a lot in a lot of areas. No hate towards the original as I love the movie too, but this one looks fun too.
@@samildes I mean, I still don't care for those movies anymore because fanbases are total purist buzzkills nowadays but atleast you're being honest about the new Crow movie because I was getting really tired of those entitled hypocrites that love the original so much trying to force me to hate it or not to watch it like they always think it's against their law for me to watch the movies and shows that they don't like.
It makes no sense why they would purposely use the same name as Brandon lee version instead of making their own crow without Eric they got backlash they should have expected honestly
I agree from the perspective of someone who is a huge fan of the Brandon Lee movie (R.I.P.). Easily one of my favorite movies of all time. The plot, the the dialogue, the acting, hell the soundtrack, all top notch. It was nearly a perfect movie. One of my two, maybe three, favorite portrayals of a comic book based character ever. That being said I plan on giving this rendition a chance, but like Ronin said, I do think it would have been better if they'd used a different character to base it around. That is one of the strengths and the cool things about the whole mythos, that the underlying themes can allow for a creative flexibility. So many different stories could be told while keeping the same overall theme. I'll go watch it, but like y'all said, being a huge fan of the original, it'll be hard not to make comparisons if they go with the same underlying character. Brandon was practically perfect, so his performance would be almost impossible to live up to. At least the sequels while not up to par with Brandon story/performance wise, were their own characters.
The sequels where trash and i don't think they tried that hard to be different. It really doesn't matter if the have a different character name the overall story is the same in the end. If he makes the Eric Draven character his own and not a copycat it could be good and it looks intresting to me. It really doesn't matter if he played a different character in the Crow universe it still would be compared to Brandon Lee's version. I hope it does well. I always wanted a Crow video game that would be awesome.
For the last 7 years, I've easily loved and respected your take, critique and analysis with reactions more than anyone I know. For someone thats only seen The Crow once way back in 97, I know incredibly of Brandon's legacy, but feel new because I don't personally know the film in and out. With that being said, I'm definitely going to watch the O.G film a couple times before I dive into this one. I appreciate you and the crew for your continued work ethic and consistency throughout the years. Truly an inspiration for an up an comer such as myself. Keep up the great work my guy. Til next time 💯
I think they ahould have just done The Crow as an anthology series imagine how fire Skinning the Wolves or Memento Mori would play out. Ronin knows the franchise pretty good.
That would be fire. As an anthology you can show the land of the dead each season with a new ressurected soul. Supernatural noir Death Wish. The directors you can get for that omg endless.
Ronin is 100000% on par with what would’ve made this movie a hit. Michael Corby would’ve been the absolute chess move. I get they think they are honoring Brandon and he may have been flattered if he was still with us but with that being said he literally gave his life for this movie. That’s not Eric Draven, he belongs to Brandon Lee
Our ancestors: "Preserve the present to protect the future.." Us: "Burn the past, remake everything, and abandon all artistic integrity in worship of materialism."
I’ve seen enough elements in his trailer to get me on board with seeing it. I’m also on board with the idea that this new Crow could’ve been anyone it didn’t necessarily have to be Eric Draven they only did it because he’s the most iconic of the film iterations that we got.
I am a big fan of 94's The Crow, but I wanted to watch this trailer with an open mind, however, it's hard when all the characters from this trailer/movie are named to 94's The Crow(They could have chosen another Crow series). I believe this movie will fail because Bad Boys pushed up their release date to go up against The Crow. The Bad Boys' producers, EXCs, etc must of heard some bad things about The Crow...
Who cares? those Bad Boys movies were ripoffs of both Beverly Hills Cop and the COPS show as those Bad Boys movies also stole that name from Inner Circle's song anyway. Besides, even if The Crow 2024 lost against the new Bad Boys movie, why would I give a crap? that Box Office bs doesn't matter to me, my own thoughts about movies do. Sheesh, I should've went back to watching and reading 80's and 90's media in Japan like Devilman and Berserl, even they have better standards then what the petty 80's/90's action and horror movie fanbases can comprehend lmao.
@weaponsofwarfare9537 who cares if it fails in the box office. Their money. But there will be ppl that like the movie. Yall stuck on Brandon Lees character. But who said this wasnt going to be different.
@@pmontyjaaaymes488 True, the Box Office means nothing to me either compared to my own thoughts on movies yet even my neutrality over this remake too after watching the original while I'm also glad that never been stuck on Brandon Lee's character either since I always thought it sounds messed up of me to gatekeep him like how those guys are doing lol.
The new Crow movie is from the 1997 comic book Crow Wild Justice. It is a prequel by James O'Barr and the tattoos are the same tattoos in the comic book. Modern music for a modern movie.
@@harrykatsaros Brandon Lee's The Crow is very different from the Joker..... and here I say that this version of The Crow actually resembles the Joker, that's just a parable or joke.
100% agree about it being disrespectful using the Eric Draven and Shelly Webster character again and they should have went with Michael Korby for this movie, hell they already reused Eric and Shelly for the crow stairway to heaven tv series,
You guys nailed it, after seeing video I too feel like they should've gone with another Crow, or done a brand new one. It's like 007, it should be a title & as a new actor takes the role, its basically saying the last retired.
I’m with you on the 90’s being the peak. But I think Bill will bring a lot to this role. And I’m interested in seeing his performance. I’m also excited to see FKA Twigs acting. This trailer is a banger and I hope the movie lives up to it.
I think the main problem is that majority of fans know that Eric is the best version in film and comic alike so they were thinking about money like they always do unfortunately. I’m still going to watch it because for myself Eric is my favorite Crow as well so I’m intrigued to see what beats they do differently even though Brandon is the superior version.
Brandon's fiancée Eliza didn't die she is still alive, The Crow 94 was dedicated to her because the movie being finished was mainly because of her cause she supported the director so they could finish the movie
as someone who has SEEN the original, on february 29th (yes, i've even marked the date, it's a day i just can't forget), i'm honestly stoked for what they've got in store here. yeah, bill skarsgard will NEVER truly be brandon lee, but that's okay. he's NOT SUPPOSED to be a carbon copy of brandon lee. no one could've POSSIBLY been expecting that he is/would be. ok, i'll admit that the teaser pictures i saw, i was skeptical, but this trailer has me SEATED for this reimagining, and that's what i think we should take it as. a REIMAGINING. hell, james o'barr was even involved pretty closely in this production. and one of the long-time producers of these movies, Edward R. Pressman, passed away back in 2023, 29 years up to the day when brandon died in 1993. so i'm going to give it a chance all things considered. and seriously, people are saying that the reimagining looks like "trash" when... i just took a look at Wicked Prayer (2005) with Eddie Furlong in the role of The Crow and... good lord, it's so BAD. i'm convinced people haven't even seen Wicked Prayer, but this trailer should motivate those kinds of people to see that TRUE HOT GARBAGE in it's entirety, and then come back and tell me that this trailer STILL looks like ass and i'mma just be like, "yea, nah, you ARE *wrong* fam xDD"
Na bro your off nostalgia i also saw it what you missed is that Eric lines were ALL deeply poetic and strong. No poetic lines in that trailer .. so thats not eric
@@6li8storm40city of angels too me was good not better than Eric but i like it. The coin in the mouth scene is amazing and when the long hair girly guy says “ stop wasting your breath agelito nobody is listening “ ..
@@fabolousjada5070 ok, and? trailers barely show any deep poetic stuff anyway, they're mainly in it for the action. this was just the teaser trailer to show off the action and what's in store, i'm pretty sure the ACTUAL trailer is gonna show a poetic side, have patience as i'm pretty sure the final trailer will probably drop around either late april or late may.
Technically, you’re right about Batman. But there has been other Batman, Weather, cartoons or comic Batman has gone away, died, etc. to the point that someone else had to take up the mantle similar to the Crow in some regards. Now I have watched the original and can definitely see where you’re coming from as the original just seems better? But I’m definitely gonna go watch this one because well I don’t know. Seems pretty good fighting art, etc.
I just rewatched the original crow movie and about to watch it again cause it's such a all time classic. The story is just really good and engaging but I sathis trailer multiple times and yes the could have went with other characters but I'm gonna wait til this movie comes out to see how it does
Loved this review! I was 6 when the OG film came out, so it had a huge impact on me. And I can even dig the first sequel too. For me, the music they used in the 94 film was integral to the Gothic feel of the story. Like you guys, I'm definitely gonna be there to see it since I've put myself through all the sequels and that 98 TV series. It looks pretty cool but I agree with you fully that it should've been a different Crow. Why do you guys feel a new person to the story shouldn't watch the original? first
I get your point.. BUT.. 1. Eric Draven is BY FAR the most popular Crow.. 2. It's 2024.. Most people don't even know the Crow.. or Eric Draven (Or original movie).. so unless your old and too attached to the original movie/Character... this looks GREAT for 2024!
Just say you aren't attached to it. We won't hold it against you. It's honestly about respect. I know it's hard to read between the lines that the man actually died playing this iconic character. We recast the same character with a new actor. It's like erasing Brandon's legacy. I know it's hard to comprehend that were going to watch the film because Bill Sarsgaard is a great actor. By logic it's a remake with bits and pieces of other stories. They decided to make it Eric Draven, when it could've been another crow reincarnation. Easy fix. Everyone keeps talking about nostalgia no it's beyond that. I'm all for reboots, remakes an other stuff. The other direct to video sequels did it right, but debatable whether people liked them or not. At least the mantle was continued with different characters. Simple.
That's true but people know Brandon Lee which makes the attachment that much more impactful. Thanks for pointing that out for me. It does look interesting indeed.
@@RoninJoegenji0085 :) Yes.. Brandon is the goat.. He IS the Crow.. But.. too many years later.. time for a new look and new take on it.. that's simply how I see it! I like it.. because they aren't trying to copy Brandon's Crow.. in a way.. it's respect they are showing by not trying to copy!! :)
@@RoninJoegenji0085 Yes.. but like I said.. for ANYONE who knows the crow.. Eric Draven IS the crow.. the OG.. so that's why they kept that.. the honest Origin story if you will.. they just had to!! Guess I am just telling myself whatever I have to .. to enjoy this new version! lol.. or maybe it's because I am 43 yo now... and simply don't give a fk... just want a fun/un woke movie from Hollyweird!! lol
I never saw the original. So maybe luckily i have nothing to compare. I love Bill Skarsgard. Im sure he will be great in this role. Like the dark noir style of the movie. Like that its bloody. Maybe i watch the original after.
I know they say it’s about respect BUT actors and actresses know this is a piece they are acting for. It was not a STORY THEY THEMSELVES CREATED. This new Crow is going to do really well so let’s respect HIS art and the way he wants to portray his version
Haha it's only going to do well with the new age generation where they don't know any better, if you've noticed that's the ONLY audience that it's 100% appealing to! And btw duh! of course actors and actresses know what they're getting into when they take on a roll so common sense for this particular project is that they should have known that there was going to be backlash. But the main characters are in that realm of new age generation so......
Personally I believe changes were made out of respect to Brandon Lee. Also changing the character appearance is updating him to the modern era like you said. At the end of the day it doesn't matter if it's Eric draven or not what matters is if it's a good movie I think people need to understand that remake does it mean copy it means make your own interpretation of something that already exists. As far as you think it is disrespectful you're not understanding the fact that this is not Brandon Lee's Crow this is Jay O Bar's Crow Brandon Lee played The Crow that's the difference I also believe that by choosing Eric draven he had a better storyline than the other crows a more interesting story that can be adapted for film I also believe that as a person who was a fan of the original story they wanted to bring to it what the original Crow did not. Do not get me wrong I am a huge Crow fan I am the biggest Bruce Lee fan you will ever meet I am the biggest Brandon Lee fan that you will ever meet but the original Crow buy movie standards what is overrated cuz there's a lot that's missing that can make it a better movie. This version is giving you a full origin of how they met give you a full understanding of the love that they have between each other this actually brings it closer to the comic book than the original movie. Even though you had a sense I was strong idea of Eric's pain in the first film and this film you actually feel it. I could actually feel it through the trailer when I first saw it. That's the major difference between that version and this version this at its core is a love story while the original artist core was a revenge story best line in the movie is love is pain
I'm going to respectfully disagree, but I understand where you are coming from and I respect your take. There's a lot at stake & there were plenty opportunities to introduce new Crow characters. Comics were really good most of them I remember enjoying a lot. We all love Brandon we agree on that.
The problem i have with it. Is the original was poetry in motion. The dialogue, the camera work, the setting, the sound track. This one appears to be over the top violent. Where as the original taught a lesson. Every scene was perfectly crafted. Who cares about more back story. I would never touch something that was already well established.
This doesn’t seem to bear any resemblance to Eric’s storyline, though. They’ve added more backstory for Eric and Shelley, but the love between them came through more strongly in any random two seconds of their interactions in the ‘94 movie. If the leads in this have any onscreen chemistry, they left it out of the trailer.
@@6li8storm40 You forget their was several minutes of interaction. It was told through flashbacks during the movie. The trailer just focused on that but we don't actually know how in depth it will actually go
@@thereviewartistrrp5493 I know there were several minutes of interaction. I’ve seen the movie many times. But, any couple of seconds of those interactions showed more connection than the entire sequence from this trailer. I got more intimacy from Eric saying “Restaurant” and an arm around her shoulders than I did from these two talking naked in a bathtub. There’s no chemistry in this trailer.
Besides the trailer music I’m down for it. Bill Skarsgard hasn’t given me a movie that makes me question his choices yet. Hopefully this is more than what the trailer seems
Ill watch it but y'all are right yhey could've make different crow in this generation not remake the crow from 94 rip brandon lee 🙏🏾. Yes there are different crow's different universe's they should've explain that in the movie that will be interesting for me we saw Crow sequence movies.
I can be excited looking at it like a crow sequel but it being a remake with the same characters name Eric draven does complicate things but the trailer didn’t so much for me personally but open to what they bring to this version
I never knew the crow had comics, but once I did, my research on the left is right Michael Kirby should’ve been the crow in this reiteration instead of doing Draven again and that’s the main thing that’s going to hurt this movie but on notice a lot of these studios lot of the people working on these projects they have no care to do research and look at the source material. This is why shows like the Witcher are trash.
Totally agree with guys...The crow will alway be brandon lee and if they want to remake it with a name Eric Draven then they gotta follow what his look like in terms of Aesthetic
What is buddy on the left talking about? Even if it wasn’t Eric Draven with the name being “The Crow” and that being the only one people really know they’ll still compare it
There are other stories why wouldn't they know? Research is fundamental. Apparently that isn't the only one people know. The chat in here says otherwise. So what are you talking about? Certain characters in comics have certain rules based on their beginnings. It doesn't apply to all characters but some.
I really wish this character wasn't Eric specifically that's the only thing shackling it And I feel like the lack of atmosphere will make this just generic
The fact that they have Eric and shelly as drug addicts and i agree with you. They should have done another Crow character, they should have had more respect to Brandon Lee. R.I.P..
who cares? I'm just happy that the makers didn't gender swap the role as it has become the norm these days. Also, don't know how the movie is gonna turn out, but let's not act like Bill skarsgard isn't a phenomenal actor and will definitely do justice to this role.
am giving it a shot because it's bill skarguard also I have the original crow movie in my DVD collection along with city of angels and wicked prayer I think if they did another version certain fanboys would have complain and bitch and plus the sequels were not well received by audiences that was also a factor just saying plus new generation gen Z may not be into what we were into back during the 90s and early 2000S just saying that's all
I agree with you guys. Honestly, I thought the trailer itself looked pretty cool and I am invested to see it. Even though I hold the original The Crow with Brandon Lee in such high regards that still holds up today & I always thought any attempted reboot was a waste of time that would just taint Lee's legacy & anger fans unless it was done perfectly & better in every way, I gotta admit this trailer got me invested & the movie looks like it may actually be pretty good. But, I'm also conflicted because while it does look cool & I do wanna see it, there are some aspects I also did not like & I think this should've been a sequel using a different character, rather than a reboot using Eric Draven again, as long as they are changing the story. So, it does seem a bit disrespectful to Brandon Lee in a way, even though I am always open to reboots and remakes. But at the very least it looks like it could be better than all the 3 Crow sequels. Of course, it's also just a trailer, but I'm keeping an open-mind. I think it will be a fun movie, but may not do that well, given modern remakes do not usually do that well & many fans will be loyal to Brandon Lee's legacy. Lee's movie, Rapid Fire, is 1 of my favorite 90's action movies.
New subscriber here guys! You nailed it on the head here, anyone who has watched the crow this feels like a bait and will fail based on trying to spin the original with how brandon did the original. Its hard to want to go see it because of that factor every other crow was based off another they should have just went off that. whats your opinin on the order from good to bad on the others? I wasnt a fan of salvation but i did like furlongs version of wicked prayer when others hated it.
to The Crow this time I say "NO!" because it doesn't look like Brandon Lee's version of The Crow This latest version loses the visual impression of The Crow's figure where he wears all black clothes, messy messy hair and a face full of revenge which adds to the impression of a dark, sad and broken heart! and most importantly the loss of The Crow's facial characteristics The Crow film this time is only bolder in showing more brutal scenes but loses all aspects of the impression of The Crow! so this film is like an ordinary action horror film!!! *in my opinion only
Garbage. The Crow resurrected many people other than Eric. This tattoo'd guy should've been one of them with a different story. But nah, they just had to ruin Eric with the trash tattoos & look. Best of luck to Bill after this disaster.
@Venom-lr3sq Wild Justice story would've been fire for the big screen. Or the IDW series Lethe. You can literally have multiple films and they would be justified because of different people being ressurected.
I agree this could have easily be the Wild Justice Crow line. Iris would have been cool one. I don't like them using Eric Draven. They should have used someone else.
Man I hate this movie and I haven’t even seen it yet. The Crow is my all time favorite movie and honestly once you heard the casting and the main lead wasn’t a woman, one of them was gone get a reboot..😢
The origin story of the crow is so good. Thats the only thing that makes me remotely want to see it. but if I compare this to Brandon lees, I can’t stand it
Ay it might be good so I'm watching it and I'll judge it after but maybe change the face paint and their names. That's all cuz he looks like the joker than the crow and I don't want them to keep using the same names from the '94. I'm not hating on the characters, it's just like the Director show use different names. Look I only watch the movie on Mon to see if it's good even tho I'm not gothic or emo person and I didn't read the comics as well. The original movie is good but I think this new movie is going to be good also but not the same level as the original.
It doesn't look exactly how i expected, but it does look like a more modern rendition. I'll totally go see it, i'll give anything a chance. And i'm quite sure i've seen worse movies lol Also, our band just released a cover of "Dead Souls" check it out if you can!
Yup. Personally, I was just happy that the makers didn't just gender swap the roles as it is the norm these days. I'm sick of watching 5ft women who don't even try to look the part lead almost every action movie nowadays. Plus Bill Skarsgard is a diamond when it comes to acting, he'll definitely do justice to this role. But don't know if the movie would do justice to the story.
Ive said it on every review I can. One. This trailer alone body bags every single crow movie sequel in just under three minutes of a trailer than all of them combined with the sole exception of City Of Angels because it was a decent follow up. Salvation was forgettable with a lousy cast and poorly produced and directed. Wicked Prayer was pure garbage. And the tv show while trying was not the crow. It was watered down for a tv audience. This in comparison to all of that is a hit in just under three minutes. It has a legitimate actor with a great presence onscreen. It is definitely better produced and directed than any of that crap. I read from the very beginning this was to be an adaptation of the original comic series. Not a reboot of the first movie. That was the media labeling the film. The producer of the movie and Lions Gate were clear it wasn't a remake of Lees film. Lees film was an adaptation of the comic series also and wasnt 100 faithful to it and neither is this. I like that this modernized it for today's audience. Today isn't the goth grunge scene of the 90's. So they actually have adapted it well for todays younger audiences. That is what the first film did as well. And A LOT of people have been critical of this saying its John Wick or Punisher like more than The Crow. Really? Well lets get real the first film was doing the John Wick style before John Wick ever even existed. Same with the Punisher elements. They were in the first film as well. So if this is borrowing something its from within its own franchise. I saw the first movie the day it came out in the theater. I saw City Of Angels the same way. And I will this also. I think it will out perform is opening competition to. It looks damn good to me.
Hey nothing wrong with that. One thing I gotta ask you said younger audiences. Are you implying that they were asking for a new crow film or are you assuming they know of the IP? Just curious.
@@RoninJoegenji0085 i think the pressman company wanted to draw in the young audience of todays generation. they seem to feel thats what made the first film a success. and to do that they changed elements in the film to pull in that group of 20 somethings. the look of the gen,the sound of the generation all that stuff. it was part of it. i think they felt they needed to do it in order to gross what they needed to gross on the film. they had doubts that they could draw in enough of what was left of the 90s gen again. and i can see that. people move on and are no longer interested.
@@RoninJoegenji0085 no i really dont know for sure thats what they are doing. but it stands to reason the production studio wants to appeal to the current demographic just like this same production company did in the 1994 movie release. they even went as far as to play down eric dravens drug use so it wasnt even in the movie and focus the story on love to satisfy the audience they were shooting for. brilliant move. but it did stray from the original source material which some how this character catches heat for being in this movie??? how does that work??? obarrs draven had drug issues. this character from what i can in this trailer was in a drug rehab at the beginning with shelly. thats not far off original source material.
Much appreciated 🙏. I'm glad you appreciated the commentary. Some in chat said we were haters lol. I'm still looking for the hate in the video. I never saw it.
Its pure stupidity on Hollywood part to purposely try to compete with the original by using the basic storyline and characters of the original especially when the actor who played the main character died on set its not only disrespectful but in bad taste theres other characters and crows they could have used and expanded the lore on instead they rather compete with brandon lee version when they are already going to be compared its ridiculous 😂
Brandon Lee is turning in his grave right now, Bill Skarsgard is a great actor and he is the only reason I will check this out. But this film is going to be a big flop and I feel like they are wasting Bill in this, this does not feel like The Crow from the graphic novel at all. I do think Bill Skarsgard is giving his all in this tho, feels like he is enjoying himself in this at least from the trailer it seems so.
You could have brought anyone back to life but to use Eric Draven, is a big dishonorable to Brandon Lee's Legacy! Bill Skarsgård is a great actor, but watching the trailer the way they changed everything it gives it a John Wick/ Batman dark Knight feel and him as suicide squad joker look
The "disrespectful" take is so overblown. People acting like the writers/directors/producers went out of their way to shit all over Brandon Lee and the original Crow. People getting butthurt just to be butthurt.
You're way off. This is incredibly disrespectful by keeping the main character ERIC DRAVEN while completely making up a non-cannonical story. On top of that, this ass-hat director made Eric and Shelly drug addicts, while The Crow was created by James O'barr to cope with the death of his fiance by a drunk driver. Tone deaf much?
That trailer gives me know emotions for the main characters; the classic movie was dark, beautiful, twisted and the music created so much emotion for that film. It looks like they are trying to recreate the Crow and say this is the new beginning; GTFOH.
The concept for the crow started in early 80s but the novel was never published until late 80s after they gathered creative ideas from 1986 the wraith, so the 1994 Crow is a ripoff of 1986 film the wraith
I think they should have used a different character not Eric,I want to see the movie because I enjoy bill skarsgard work but it will never be as good as the original.
I’m honestly asking, and not trying to stir shit. For those of you who think the trailer looks fire, can you explain why? To me, it honestly looks incredibly generic; has boring and *terrrible* dialogue; and nobody looks interested in why they’re doing. I’ve never seen Bill Skarsgård in anything, but have heard a lot about his acting skills. Based in this trailer, people are either making that up, or even he isn’t good enough to surpass this script (I think it’s the latter). Okay. I’m ranting, but honestly just want to ask what looks good/fire/whatever about this? I was planning to see it in the theatre before the trailer dropped, but I’m not spending money on this.
