The Cruel Reality of Kevin Can F Himself 

Every single reviewer seems to miss the point that you are SUPPOSED to be bored and not care about the sitcom scenes. It's in the name of the show. It's intentional. Just think, this was the majority of TV 20, even 10 years ago. It was totally unquestioned and women who knew it was stupid were expected to laugh and put up with similar behavior in real life.

This is helping me understand my former marriage better.

I really like this one. I was born in Worcester. That is why I started watching. The production changes are new and effective. A sitcom gets stuck into a rut, and resets every week. A drama moves on from event to event, never allowing a character stability. People on Melrose Place were divorced two episodes after getting married. The first season was very impressive, and this season proves to be even better. I can't wait for the finale. Even if it means saying goodbye to these poor miserable people.

The show will hit people differently depending on what they have gone through in life. That can be true for all shows but if you've been in Allison's position, it's a must watch as you realize you were not alone in your abusive relationship.

You really need to watch season two - we see more of the characters get pulled into the drama world and Kevin finally gets what he deserves and everyone he hurts leaves him in the end. It’s better than season one. ❤️

Kevins stories are supposed to be completely different. Its.. the entire point of the series. Its the juxtaposition of the worlds. Without those parts of the series it wouldn't be the same series, it wouldn't be anything special.

My whole entire childhood I’ve been surrounded by men ( parental figures) like Kevin. I’ve always hated to put up with their constant berating “jokes”. And if I stood up for myself I was a “ disrespectful and uneducated” child.

The actor who plays Sam also plays Ben in the new Quantum Leap.

thank you for the robin lord taylor shout out lol i finished Gotham and started this just for him and the pilot had me shaking. i ended up loving this show so much.

the single cam, darker and grittier version of the world - it's interesting that you say that's reality and the multi cam, bright, lively and 'funny' version is not. they're just 2 versions of the same reality, and both as equally cruel as the other

I've not seen it, but judging by the trailer it looks like they've created a sort of strawman of all men in the guise of Kevin. The toxic portrayal of men is getting beyond a joke. A complete role reversal of this show would never see the light of day.

The show just sucked. Its for fringe people who think the idea of marriage is boring and a nightmare. If you liked this show you might want to think about being forever alone because you're probably a shitty partner

The slow pace of the first episode almost made me quit it, but thankfully Netflix on the mobile app has 1.5X and that really made it much better to watch. I like the show.
