unironically theres something really comforting about the song , the wavy sound is like wondering and pondering and thinking and creating philosophy and thoughts . in conclusion its like a reflection of the human mind and its ways of thinking and processing thoughts
if you have any noise removal tools like "nvidia broadcast", you can do away with the music in the videos that may annoy you... mostly. this one requires RTX video cards though.
Hold on. You can add a certain sound file to this program and it’ll intelligently filter it out whenever it detects it being played in real time? Thass wild yo. I’d never filter caboosing tho.
@@Omega-mr1jg The problem isn't the fact that the edge-warping effect is not applied evenly, it's the fact people don't understand WHY it's like that. It's deliberately not perfect because aiming with a full fish-eye lens distortion would suck (and people would complain)
@@bengregg2632 aiming with a slight one already sucks. It makes flicking when someone is at the edge of your scope harder. Also scopes irl dont really have the fisheye effect. Some do but a good quality one designed for precise long range shooting has a lot of effort and engineering put into it as to specifically avoid this issue. Because fisheyes on scopes are just terrible
Cs fans: ''we need new content. the game is gonna end up dying soon..."" Valve: ''sure, here is an update'' Cs fans: ''WTF HOW DARE YOU CHANGE THE GAME''
They probably want a brand new operation and definitely an anticheat which take 10000 hours of quality work to do and a f---ing SWAT team to search and destroy cheater's home in a day so cheaters can't create/buy indefinite amount of new account & PC if they are in jail. Not fix game breaking bug or change sniper scope that require obviously less work and no SWAT team.
to be fair to those people. It is not good content. It's also nowhere near as important as adding cache to the map pool. fisheye is the woirst thing in sniper there are engineers that worked so they can avoid that. No idea why they would add it. Its no prettier it just messes with your flicks a bit. The viewbob is whatever change dont care about it.
Valve did changes that nobody demanded... I don't care about the new scope effect and that is the problem. Valve wastes so much time and resources on things that the community doesn't care about. The new less buggy Zeus in Deathmatch is so much more important than a proper Anticheat. If it wasn't CS but a generic shooter Valve would have already killed the game..
3:13 Its strange that they were getting pefrormance issues with 5950x when the 5600 and 5900x both basically got the same 350+ fps avg and ~150 lows in most benchmarks I saw of CS2 not long after launch.
Edit: The video already says this 5950x has two chiplets merged for cores and the transfer rate between them is relatively horrendous so it makes gaming frames shit. But it's good for other things.
its not that strange when you consider that the game is made by a small indie studio that just simply does not have time and resources to ascertain and try to fix and optimize the game to the fullest. This is why we as a community need to keep buying the cool looking color skins for weapons to support them ! :)
@@ambhaiji same it is for the 5900x. It has 2 CCD's with 8 cores each but with 2 disabled cores on each‚ so 5900x has a total of 12 cores with 6 on each CCD. Those 12 cores will have the exact same way of working like on on 5950x.
I knew i wasnt hallucinating! I hopped on and immediately felt that the viewmodels movement was super off and asked a my buddies and they didnt notice anything wrong, but i was sure something was off.
No matter how much you improve a game, if those improvements mess with nostalgia or how players previously perceived the game, they will shit their pants
HAHAH I head "the song you all love listening to" in my head when I clicked this video. This is why I could never become an esports athlete, I'm not even playing and I'm being read like an open book.
CS players will always continue to hate everything that is thrown at them, you could fix the cheating problem and they'd say it feels like it's more now
@@generic6099 It didn't use to be that way. People were happy with what they had, and adapted to shortcomings of a game. Unfortunately now that collective entitlement means players will whine so long over literally anything that devs will bend :/
2:25 With the deathmatch Zeus update, it's now theoretically possible to get the highest ever DM score. Since the points add up after every consecutive kill, you can get tons of points. Math goes like this: Time in deathmatch -> 10 minutes Zeus recharge rate -> 30 seconds Zeus kills per DM -> 20 kills First kill (0 seconds into DM) -> 15 points Second kill -> 15+15=30 points ... Last kill (21st kill on exact last second) -> 15x21=315 points You add all the kills up (15+30+45...) you get total of 3465 points. Practical maximum score would be 20 kills, since you won't be able to get a kill on 0 seconds and when DM ends (exactly on the 10 minute timer) before last kill registers (21st kill). So new maximum score in DM with zeus kills only, and no deaths would be 20 kills, 0 deaths, and with score of 3150 points. Additional facts: If you wanted to beat the 3150 point record, there is a way. You need 158 knife kills (or more) in 10 minutes to beat it, since knife kills give you 20 points per kill.
I still can't get used to the Zeus not being thrown away :D I always fire it and then it takes me a moment before I realize I have to manually switch weapons! Not saying it should switch automatically, just pointing out it's hard to get used to!
counterstrike fans are schrodingers fanbase. they complain if something is better because of "muh competitive advantaahge" and then complain when the game isnt being updated to be better
every 3kliks video feels like a shitpost at certain points but watching this one i was worried i fell into a 6 week long coma and it was april first good work
Bot when a strand of your hair pokes around the corner from 100m: "BOOM! Headshot!" Bot when you stand directly in front of it: "You've got about 3-5 business days before you get shot."
Average player just likes to complain really. I play a lot of sniper and awp and have yet to see a "difference in flicking" as people are saying. It's not like it's those CoD scopes with misaligned crosshairs
I got on CS2 today for the first time in a while on a different PC than my main, and saw the different bob and AWP scope. Silly me was just thinking it was the other PC just being better in terms of hardware. I love the new bob and AWP scope :]
If I'm the developers working behind CS, I would just quit and work on other games because how restrictive the community is to ANY changes. I would say almost every competitive games are a pain to work on.
see I saw comments in other videos about you making the music louder on purpose and that's exactly what I expected. I kinda figured when It started getting ten times louder
I knew something was different with the AWP scope but I didn't know what. I like this change, looks good. Just wish my performance in smokes weren't so bad. 139 to 60-40fps when im inside a smoke.
The fish eye for the scope is so freaking bad. I'm an awp main since 1999 for 30.000 hours and it's incredible how they keep ruining not only the balance of the awp but even the quality of life now.
something new? not on my watch. Time to write an essay on reddit about how this update is making me nauseous, epileptic, motion sick etc because I have a condition no one has ever heard about.
Are you OK philip? I feel like you're worrying too much about what people hate in this video :-) see how many people love the song in the comments (me included)? I like the reduced weapon bobbing too, but I also like that it's a thing, and I really like your content too! Much love from France
Have a friend who bought a Ryzen 5600, per my advice that it's a great processor. He then told me how terrible his framerates were in Tarkov and in those hub areas of MMOs, and the 5800X3D has fixed that. I should blame myself for giving him the 'wrong' advice but it's much easier just to blame the shittily optimised games he plays when literally every other game in existence is fine on a 5600
For gaming there is lot of sense of having 3D Cache Ryzen Source 2 benefits from 3D cache like it predecessor Source 1 Mostly 3D Cache is good for MMOs or Simulation games but also for some FPS titles
I'm sure the majority of CS2 playerbase won't have an issue disabling the new sniper scope and view bob. Also loved those slides explaining why less CPU is more CPU.
i really dont know why people hate the song so much. It definitely gives a sort of weird feeling but it sounds totally fine and it captures the unease of the unforeseen or unnoticed effects of the patch notes very well.
Programmer here. As it turn out, cache misses(when memory you're trying to acquire is not in the cache, and needs to be retrieved from RAM) are actually very expensive. 3D cache improves this by simply having way more of it.
I think the new view bob effect could have been a really great opportunity to have a Counter Strike: Source style viewbob, if they tweaked it ever so slightly to get rid of the weird galloping effect I would really like the option. Regardless, I appreciate the ability to turn it off.
gotta love the CS community sometimes. They'll add an effect for the scope that only changes like, 5% of the view and only on the edges and they'll still manage to complain about it and demand a way to disable it. That being said though, the new viewbob for the hands does irritate me a little. It looks too slow now, and seems like its no longer in-sync with the footstep sounds and the speed the player is moving
