Everytime I see something from this band the time period just goes further and further back, I had no idea they were a mid 70s band, same as how it blew my mind that Devo started in 1969.
The cure est groupe légendaire. Ma préférence, malgré tout, sera toujours la periode Seven seconds, faith, et bien bien-sûr, le magnifique pornography. Mon préféré parmis toute leur discographie. Pourtant, j'ai connu Cure, surtout quand ils ont sorti in betwen days. Je suis allé les voir pour la première fois à Fréjus en 86. Je n'avais pas eu de place pour bercy en 85. Super concert, bien sûr.
They don’t sound like Ramones. Ramones are stripped down Rock & Roll. This is some whining cat with pretentious drum rolls and silly bass lines. Guitar also completely indie sheit. Awful band, awful song.
Robert Smith setting the record straight, i wish id heard this one before my ex wife stopped communicating with me. id send songs instead of a text id regret. usually ones that would say what i wanted to type. this sounds like it woulda fit right along with An Object or another nasty one off the first album. Those basslines and Smith was always a solid guitarist. Never heard this one..thanks! i have two bootlegs of early Cure/Easy Cure, this isnt on either

I much preferred Robert Smith without all the heavy eye make-up and lipstick. I know it made him and the band more marketable during the 80's, but unlike David Bowie, Smith didn't know when to call it a day and change his appeance and keep up with the times.
Either way it achieved its ends.. to make billion$. Once Lovecats entered it was pretty clear the direction was all about the production of the image and $$$ and less about the music.
i dont care about keeping up with the times, but i know for me there came the time that i had to accept i couldnt pull the look off anymore and i was too vain to look like an old guy trying too hard. i would absolutely love to see Robert now just accept who he is now and take all the stuff off.
