HISTORY yes I do but I can't see it because there are no ways for me to see it. I downloaded the app but the content is not accessible to me here in Norway. and it sucks because that's the channel I watched the most before.

The guys should be selling the "eternal spring" (artesian) water, from off the Island! That was the "gold" that made that Island valuable, in those early years. Such would make it easy to stock ships, coming and going, across the Atlantic! It would make that Island, an excellent base for operations, for Cabot, Champlain, Drake, and all the others. I recommend, that the guys should contact a Naval fire-base historian, about how that Island would be used... Gun placements, troop billeting, dry-docks, tidal hydrolic mill, btwn the islands, etc. I'd bet, that the French drains were used to get that fresh water to the docks, for the ships! Also, ammo bunkers would get used for storing all that treasure!!!! All over that Island!!!

I love Oak Island. I really don't care if they find treasure, I find it interesting from a historical perspective. I am amazed that with the millions of dollars they spend, they can't afford to have more than one guy with a metal detector. lmao

Wow - my guilty pleasure (Oak Island!) has just collided with the brilliant metalworker who demonstrated copper fold-forming at our forge in England (Charles Lewton-Brain). That made me jump! But I can now absolutely vouch for the quality of the expert input - he is a genius.

The time has come to open up the ground with bulldozers and excavators. They know generally where to open the ground. Sending shafts straight down is expensive and very limited to success you could be so close and not even know it. By opening up the ground you can explore the whole area and change direction based on what you find.

Hello Daniel I am prompted to share a story with you! Btw I live here in Nova Scotia half the year, the other half in the province of Prince Edward Island. Two years ago I am sitting at my cottage in PEI and I go to check the local weather on my phone app, normally it references my Lot number for the location. When I looked at my phone I saw, in the flash of a moment, something else besides the Lot number, I saw the word Barcelos....very distinctly! It was gone in a flash but I remembered the exact spelling and after a "what the heck was that?" moment ... off to google map I go... and BAM ... Barcelos, Portugal comes up. I am aware of much Templar history in Portugal but I'm curious if this Northern Area has received any mention? This is the first time I have shared this information. It's all good, the time is now to awaken to a New Truth of who we are and the untold, but soon to be remembered, history of our Planet. Cheers!

This show is kind of monotonous, like a slow drip water torture. A piece of wood here. A bobby-dazzler there. More drill cores with amazing discoveries of wood that are surely part of the treasure vault(!) and then just like that we never hear anything about it again. lol. What should have been a 2 hour special turned into season after season after season of mind-numbing "discoveries" and testing and dating and machines drilling holes and digging holes and and oh my god shoot me now.

Johnny Rocket As I think about it a two hour "special" maybe once or twice a year, (when SOMETHING, bigger than a lead cross) shows up. It’s a "good" idea... so were screwed...LOL. However it is definitely falling off my radar, I don’t see it much anymore. It’s to bad because "I" read and have been a fan in this since I was a kid, and read the ORIGINAL Reeders Digest story. Just because you find something old on top of the ground doesnt mean it has been there since it was made. Anyone could have dropped it there at anytime. It could have been left there 200 years ago or 200 seconds ago.

ModernProspector do you think its Spanish? ..it has a definitely roman influenced design similar to many late roman rings .. to me it just doesn't look spanish it looks Italian . most Spanish objects from the 1600s are rather plain and of a more plain missionary type of style .. Italian artifacts from the 1600s tend to be rather elaborate

ModernProspector late 1500s i don't think so because of the ring shape ..it would be narrower and simple jewelry work wasn't that elaborate till the late 1500s as water wheel powered machines came of age and popped up everywhere

I jeweler historian might be able to tell which family that once belonged to. Local to me would be Steve Walker of Walker's Metal smiths, of Andover, New York located some 90 miles Southeast of Buffalo, NY. He could show you how such rings are made.

Even the Basque fished near oak island in the 1600-1700s! There is nada on this island! An axe piece made in the 1400s by Basque with a Maker's Mark was found in a Huron Village by Toronto. It got there after being traded or left abandoned by 17th Century Basque Fishermen. Curse of the Axe documentary 2012!!! Nothing new
