I run a ctx 3030(his detector) and that sure was a very strange tone for a large piece of silver. That was more of a rusted iron tone....

Hey everyone, they found wood....again!

It could be, it always could be, stay tuned, next week it could be too.

I feel like one day they might find something. But im thinking someone got the treasure already and just said they never found it.

I've found more "treasure" metal detecting my local beach after a busy summer weekend.... total equipment investment $500..... and 2 hours. But hey.... go for it guys.... The real mystery of Oak Island is that so many people have bought into the story and lost a fortune. The Money Pit is well named!

There was already a report that smiths cove was an oyster farm or whatever and the slipway was for the fishing ships

I must admit that I only saw a few of your Tube features. But I do have some comments that were inspired by your interesting venture: 1. No matter who came to this island in the past and decide to bury something for the future would be aware of the future robbers. Also they would be aware that they could not keep works digging shafts secret. Words would spread through seamen, their families and locals so of course people have been looking/digging for a long time. 2. My suggestion is that the swamp was the anchor/semi-dry dock of the ships that served as accommodation and work space for the approximately 100 men that would be needed to build the shafts/tunnels. The 'analomy' would be the granite ballast of the ships when they were wasted when everybody leaved on the last two ships. 3. No 'Treasure' would have been on the island when the work on shafts and tunnels were done. That would have been too dangerous with all the hundreds of working people around and would have acquired a lot of guards which would be even more dangerous. 4. 'Treasure' would have been brought to the island only later, may be 2 years, by a small party on one/two ships and the bury and concealment decided exclusively by them based on the secrecy and the possible retrieve later. A few diggers would have been killed to hide the location. That also indicate that the 'treasure' is not that deep since you only need a few people to dig down there. 5. My advice is to look at possible clues on the surface (boulders, stones, inscriptions and documents) that could be found or made in the 'Templar Time' 6. I believe that any 'treasure' will be found 30' - 70' feet underground in a dry chamber. The location will be unexpected!!

I bet this will get lost in the comments but sometimes when I'm bored I like to bury myself in the backyard and pretend I'm a carrot.

I've never watched the show but I'm rooting for them to find something just to shut all the haters up here on this YT channel

Some metal detector "expert" that guy is. No headphones and holding his coil too far off the ground. The dirt fishermen here know what I'm talking about.

All this money the guys are pumping into this search, yet I always find it funny that there's this one guy (Gary) using a metal detector, who seems to find everything. How come they don't have an army of guys combing the island using metal detectors?

I live one hour from oak island..used to go there as a kid when you could still easily access it and just wonder around...interesting place..but highly doubt anything is there..merely a legend that has built it`s own reputation to the point where people believe it.

I think they plant things that they bought somewhere and film themselves detecting them. That's what I think happened with the cross where they found a carved image on a wall in France just like it. maybe they bought that for 15k from the woman who owned the 'castle'. I still like the show, but they've got to keep people tuned in.

6-27-20 it seem the treasure chest opened on its way down and the diamonds are covered in mud .That idea is from working on objects that were designed off the original map

They should move the water barrier wall even further out. There is a land jetty to the side of the current pit. Moving out could allow for searching of any potential items that may of fallen into the water +300 years ago

We will get answers from the swamp. What is most amazing is the amount of effort people went to in order to hide or discover what may be on this island. I would have not believed it would have been possible to work at such depths with out a lot of loses of life. Even the stuff in the ocean in crazy.

All that glitters is not treasure! Samuel Ball had a silver chamber pot in his bedroom. Over the years it got washed into the money pit. That is why the traces of silver showed up in the water!

the reason they found big logs underneet the heart and stone, is simply because it was done in verry simple way. In fact it was a jetty! the way to built a jetty is done by first accumelating stones at low tide and when long enought to allow a ship to dock you add a wooden platform on it and when you are finish, you simply pull the wood plarform below the stone and cover the platform with stone until it sank. voila the tide do the rest to cover everything.

Living in Montreal, our squirrels are about 12 months non stop. They bury nuts I throw to them, in the snow & dig so deep they fall into their snow holes. Which is precisely what these clowns are doing, week after week. Think about it...
