Great to see these old girls still running. Must have travel 1,000s of miles on 1938 stock when a kid living in the South Kenton/Preston Road area so got the Watford and Stanmore branches. So many familiar sounds and had forgotten about the guards on these units!

Nice to see 1938 stock back on the Piccadilly line. I remember them stabled at Northfields when I was a nipper.

I travelled on the '38 stock daily on the Bakerloo line when I lived in London, full of character.

Saw you at SVR on Friday, you lucky thing riding in the cab of the Warship.....not jealous at all.....promise 😂😂😂😂 Was going to say hi but i didn't want to lose my position at the end of the platform. We were all jostling for the best filming position 😂😂

I noticed in one of the clips how smooth it was riding on new track ,last time I ride one was when it was in service on the bakerloo 1984 ,that units looks the business a top class restoration ,cheers Mark 😊😊

That’s what I have in my head, when I think underground. In fact, from my childhood in Ontario Canada, I picture the same stock running on the Toronto Subway. Always imagined it was imported London stock. Recently found out I was wrong on all counts. Hope you get your drone sorted. I was a grumpy old git re drones when they first appeared. In my defence, there were some right plonkers giving them a bad name. Now they’ve gone main stream, serious, professional, call it what you will, can’t imagine a world without them.

I remember when the tubes were like this! Except in those days everything was filthy dirty. People were allowed to smoke on the Underground, and the whole place was disgusting! It is interesting to see one of those old trains restored to gleaming condition. Even the fire extinguisher had been polished! You captured the sound of the motors accelerating well. You'll have to rip this sound off your video, and use in on your model railway! Thanks for uploading.
