Theyre great rifles. I have two and hope to have the parts accumulated to put together a third soon. By the way the VZ24 is a large ring Mauser, not small. I thought I heard you say it was small ring towards the beginning of the video.

I polished my Mosin-Nagant bolt and receiver , and keep it clean and lubed. It’s a fine as any Mosin out there. A Finnish sniper would love my Mosin. That said, not quite as smooth as my VZ 98/22…. Which I gave the same sort of love. Not even sure how fair the comparison is really. I shot a really well done Enfield, that was like churning butter. I shot a bad one, and it was poorly maintained crap. I agree on Enfield being the smoothest bolt action gun you can buy as surplus.

Always liked them, but focused on collecting byf K98ks instead. 🤠

Could you tell me if the bayonets are specific to the 98/22 or will other bayonets from other mausers ? I just inherited one its a Turkish 98/22 I’m looking for a bayonet
