After 22 years, my wife decided there has to be someone better then what she had! So left me for another man! But God drew me back to Him, my life has changed so much! I now have the peace to let go for good ! God has restored for faith and joy! He will fill my heart with His love! God is good all the time!

So great! Seek the Lord for emotional healing before you take it out on your spouse. We come into marriage broken, flawed, and selfish and we often expect our spouse to be mind readers and to do everything we want him/her to. Only God can fill that tank! It is unfair to put that kind of pressure on a spouse.

Sometimes it’s not a sexual affair that interferes. It’s other women like his mother in his ear hardening his heart, providing comfort, money and a place to stay, etc.

my husband died when I was only 26...now I'm almost 32.....still praying God has another for me....one who is strong enough not to be intimated by my loss or my 3 kids. I also have to accept that might never happen, or might not happen while my children are young....ill tell all of you married people one thing though....if I were blessed enough to have a marriage, there isn't a thing in this world or another that would stop me from doing any and everything, even something new to try to repair it if it started to break....dont let yourself become the weakest link. fight for the blessing that I would love to have....for the other parent my kids would cherish.

The Word says that God gives us the desires of our hearts. If being remarried is a desire of your heart, don't ever stop believing for it. There are good Christian men out there who can appreciate a ready made family, meaning a wife with children. You hang in there!

As a Christian couple, I never imagined infidelity would hit our family- it’s easy to say if that if it happens it’s grounds for divorce- but if you really love your wife and family you will forgive. I forgive my wife and I’m trying to save our marriage, and praying she doesn’t leave for her affair partner. I’m trying to make her understand the person is evil To do this to a marriage and a family. I wouldn’t have the heart to destroy a Marriage and family.

I agree the affair partner is evil but our spouses participated too. They participated in creating the hurt and pain, the destruction of their marriage. I’m sick my husband did what he did and I’ll suck the woman knew he is married and still did what she did. They are all wrong.

Amen, I married a non Christian without knowing the darkness of his true feeling .....his true ways .. And I need The Lord every minute of the day .....and I want to be with a man who looks towards the Lord ... He's broken every val we took .. His has both feet out the back door !

Hello I am very sad I have Fibromyalgia that is very painful I can not do what I use to my husband does not want to be with a sick wife he is moving out in July but I am glad to have God and my family truth to be told I am heart broke

Barbara tetreault sorry that I'm just reading your post 3 years later, but I'm married, also have fibromyalgia...I was only 1 year married when I was diagnosed & now we've just reached 8 years of marriage...it's very painful & not at all easy. I can't do all the things I used to do, & it's put some strain on this marriage. Yet my husband has been loving & patient with me & I'm thankful to GOD for that. Has your situation changed with your husband since then? I pray that the marriage is restored. GOD bless you. Gentle hugs to you Barbara.♡

It has been 3 months exactly today since my husband of 17 years told me about his affair. I had to ask him to leave cause of the pain he caused. I have hardened my heart towards him. He hasn't tried to reconcile, so for me, he's probably still with his girlfriend. what can I do...I have to protect myself.

I've seen the pain in marriages when one cheats. This happened to my cousin. Her and her husband were hot fire for Christ. The husband would get bullied at work for being a Christian . Soon he stopped going to church (which was the first red flag)👈 . One night his phone was blowing up. My cousin grabbed his phone. He snatch it and he ran to the bathroom and locked himself. He was cheating with a prostitute. 5 years later my cousin is still praying for this loser that doesn't want her.

+cathie romero why men shouldn't marry? 1 you'll be considered her personal property 2 the courts side on and yield to the woman 3 men will lose their identity and space 4 divorce will financially ruin a man 5 a man will lose his family marriage is a huge undertaking and ultimately very risky for men. no wonder its on the decline. but yet men bungle into it without clear thought and deliberation, for many reasons, even one being pressured to from the pulpit. its a wonderful notion to speak positive and pose spiritual about its beautiful grandeur and allure from a preacher, but in reality the negatives are ever present

+cathie romero im a believer and i want for marriages to ultimately succeed . but facts are facts. and more and more christian men are simply steering clear. too much work, risk and drama. ive been married twice and both times its been just that..... black and white. 54 single and highly improbable ill marry again . all good jimmy evans states that marriage will mature , civilize and produce character in you.--- what about those who choose to remain un married , or are divorced or widowed--- are they a lost cause or characterless ?

kal Desjarlais If you read the bible, the apostle Paul and others never mentioned the purpose of marriage being to mature, civilize and produce character. It is meant for companionship and sex. I know you say you can get sex without marriage, but that's what its intent was and is. If you don't believe in any religious principles, than it's just a free for all. But there's always some kind of risk when you're in a relationship with someone.

Why do Christians believe it's impossible to have married the wrong person? God gave us free will, and we have all (including Christians) done something against God's will or plan for us. But why is it that Christians so strongly believe marrying the wrong person isn't one of those things? Why is it NOT possible to have chose your mate based on your own desires and will instead of Gods'??? Someone PLEASE answer this.

“Married” the wrong person or not, once you marry you are in a lifelong covenant relationship with the Lord, even if two atheists get married, it’s a covenant with God. That should not ever be broken! That’s not to say that you should stay if your spouse is abusing you, or you should stay if your spouse is having affairs, what I’m saying is, God gives circumstances as grounds for divorce, but that doesn’t mean he likes it, it still hurts his heart.
