the reason why there was no last name on the Thomas R case is because in The Netherlands suspects and convicted criminals also have a right to the preservation of privacy. even though last names are mostly leaked if it's a high profile case.
@@tinytecgaming3083 i would agree on some level, but only on convicted criminals, who have prior records. what if a suspect is innocent, no prior records? a person might be at the wrong place, at the wrong time, fitting a vague police description. should that person's privacy become public knowledge? should that information live on the internet forever? to me, that doesn't seem fair.

Its just not safe out there. Some of the things I did years ago I'd NEVER do now. When I think about it I could've been killed on so many different situations. I was lucky. Women need to strap up when dating. Even if going on a date with other women. Don't go to a hotel. Don't go to anyone's home. Especially not after the first or second date. If you feel something isn't right, follow that feeling. That goes for men too. It doesn't matter if it's a woman or another man. Stay strapped because unfortunately you're never really safe. Also SHARE YOUR LOCATION with loved ones so they'll know where you are. I've always told my kids to follow that gut feeling. I follow mine. If I don't feel safe I'm out. It doesn't apply to just dating. If you're out and about and you feel like something is off it IS. Follow that and remove yourself from the situation. It could save your life.
