Bugsnax follows the player's character through the abandoned tropical island of Snaktooth, whose inhabitants have been afflicted with a snak-borne curse.
It's probably not a horror game in the way you think it is. But it will probably be revealed that your eating parts of people when eating bugsnax. But I wouldn't be surprised if this too was revealed in a cartoonish bright and colorful way. I would be disappointed if this game was actually a PSA about eating animal's. Now THAT I would be upset about.
I clicked on this video after watching the ending of the game thinking it was an actual lore explanation video, and didn't realize until the end that it was FROM 4 MONTHS AGO BEFORE THIS GAME RELEASED. I DIDN'T KNOW!
I thought it was going to be something more sinister than we are led to believe. Its hiding behind the childish graphics. I can see a few people have been saying the same as what I though. Maybe its right
If this game becomes a dark and gritty experience, I will be so excited. It would be interesting if the more bugsnax you eat, the more distorted and evil you become. Kind of like Adam in Bioshock
Spoiler alert for bugsnax I guess: I can’t bloody believe he was literally right!? This is literally the games twist ending I can’t believe it, even small details like people falling apart into bugsnax and the whole addiction thing it’s literally all true I’m losing my mind.
I don't know why practically all the characters are PERFECTLY FINE with turning themselves into food when any normal person would be SCARED OUT OF THEIR MIND
It is mentioned Triffany’s gramma went missing when she adventured to Snaktooth Isle. It is safe to assume she was infected, and given the old statues and artifacts, Snaktooth Isle has been around for decades or even centuries.
Honestly, my brain was blown out my bum when I saw that this video was uploaded in July. I don't even think Backseat realized how accurately they called it.
