There really needs to be a campaign to bring that show back. I wonder if a GoFundMe could raise enough dough. Cancelling that show after one season is maybe the worst thing Netflix has ever done

The best classic 80’s trio was definitely the Dark Crystal(1982), the Never-ending Story(1984) and the Labyrinth(1986)!! Jim Henson truely worked his magic!

Age of Resistance Season Two when? Arguably one of the best shows Netflix has produced in the last five years, all the assets are there. It should have had time to get a fan base, if they were smart. Seriously, it’d be refreshing.

@@mantronixtube It was foolish. COVID played a part, which is fair. But otherwise, they decided that a first season of something novel, which still remains novel, had to get axed because it underperformed for views in the first season (common, viewership tends to bounce back) despite still getting awards. And this is in a time when people are getting superhero and franchise fatigue and it seems like the creative well is starting to run dry in Hollywood. They’re sitting on a series that’s got solid writing and casting, with a healthy dose of doing something no other series is doing, and deciding it’s not worth their time.

@@mantronixtube actually I think they're smart, but evil. The AoR story is actually an amazingly good allegory for how the real world is. In fact, it's one of the most accurate ones I know of. As much as I want S2, I don't think it will see the light of day as it would hit too close to home, unless they have completely different people writing and directing it. It's also just too high brow for the modern era, where the goal is to dumb everyone down and divide everyone.

Just now realzing the Montclair Best Buy broke streetdate and put these out last month 'cause the only interesting blu-rays they had were Labrynth and Dark Crystal
