An encapsulation of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy. Films: Batman Begins (2005) The Dark Knight (2008) The Dark Knight Rises (2012) Music* by Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard
The reason why these movies are so popular (even more than the Avengers in some aspects) is that they relate to real life struggles that we as humans face. It brought a spark of reality to the comic books. That we can overcome our fears, and trials we face. Nolan did a superb job portraying Batman's humanity which makes me love this. "Training is nothing; Will is everything." - and of Course "Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves back up.
Nolans trilogy were so much more than just action movies! These movies had so much soul and so much depth to them, they really captured what Batman is. A legend, a man among gods, he represents the pinnacle of physical and moral perfection, the will to do great things and the power in all of us. The power to rise, to empower and to succeed. These movies changed my life, sorry BATMAN changed my life, helped me get over my anxiety and my fear. Long live the Dark Knight.
This is a really wonderful tribute to Nolan's trilogy. These movies are a landmark in cinema, not just for comic book/action films, and rose the bar way high up. I don't think Batman will ever get portrayed anything like this again. From the truly human story of Batman Begins that surprised us all with its earnestness, to the drama and intensity of The Dark Knight (and Heath's unforgettable performance), and finally the epic conclusion of Rises...A legacy of film that has made it's mark.
I love the showing of the villains during the "Some Men.. monologue" literally every word they appear on describes them in some way.Props for this awesome tribute to my favourite trilogy
I don't care what Burton fans say about this trilogy. IT was a true masterpiece, and i found them all very entertaining to watch. They used all the villains in the best way possible. We got a clear vision of Batman's rise and fall. The acting was unbelieavably great in all three. The story fitted very well with all three installments. They took many of the iconic characters and changed their backstory slightly, thus making them fresh and new. Perfect example of a great trilogy!!!
I love how in the Trilogy, identity isn't crucial to the development of most characters, but it's their actions. When Bruce says "It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me.," he speaks for some of the villains in the films.
I just keep thinking, "what if I could have seen this eight years ago, before seeing any of the films?"What would it feel like to see a glimpse of shear awesomeness, before experiencing parts of its majestic and tantalizing presence? Well, I'll never know that feeling, but all the feelings that come with seeing the last movie of the most amazing trilogy ever (probably tied with LOTR) is being felt in my heart as I type...Thanks Nolan and Crew.
What an incredible trilogy. Not gonna lie, I had manly tears during this, it's very well done. We've watched Bruce suffer so much in such a short time, but we were there with him through it all. His legend is complete and he can finally move on now. Gotham will always have Batman. It's about damn time that Bruce had a happy ending. So here's to you Nolan and everyone else involved. Christian Bale you will always be my Batman. Its been a hell of a ride.
"Some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought (Falcone), bullied (Bane), reasoned (Two-Face), or negotiated with (Ra's al Ghul). Some men... just wanna watch the world burn." Those were perfectly fitted to each character, but Joker fits them all.
Christopher Nolan you have done not only made The Wolds Greatest Super Hero Movie Trilogy but Bring Batman back to life after the event of Batman&Robin so thank you Mr. Nolan
It's incredible how similarly The Dark Knight Trilogy and Batman Arkham Trilogy ended up, with a surprise success with the first one, the second one being one of the best films/video games of all time, and the third one trying to live up.
***** If you're including Origin's and the spin-offs, then no; but the Dark Knight Trilogy also has a cartoon spin off. It's really just the three games that count.
This is totaly great, I love it. Feels that this trilogy is more than just a movie for you. You put soul in this work. Wish there were scene where Bruce was broken and had to climb out from the pit.
"It's not who I am underneath. But what I do that defines me." Great line. I love that as well as, "Why do we fall sir? So that we can learn to pick ourselves up." I love how Alfred said it, even though Thomas Wayne says it first, Alfred just brings and puts something else into the way he says that line that makes it truly iconic.
awesome edit to an awesome trilogy! Its got me pumped up for the release of The Dark Knight Rises on blu-ray and the Dark Knight Trilogy marathon im gonna have over Christmas!
Oh. My. God. How do you do this? Each video you make is unique and incredible, and this one is no exception. A fantastic tribute to the Dark Knight. Good job! :)
