@@SyntaxError83 Hey, no personal details necessary, it's just good to know they're alright. I feel bad for the families involved though. The nerve of that greedy, uughgghh!
Everyone is entitled to a defense...sure! But I hate it when the defense lawyers start twisting and basically making shit up to get their client off. It's a challenge to the lawyer to see if they can get a murderer off and that to me is sickening! Gah
I don't know the details of the victim's marriage, but it seems possible she robbed her husband. People so often think they can get away with being a PoS (Piece of Poop), and many pushovers will allow that and talk about "letting it go", forgiveness, and such...but, some don't. A thief robbing another thief is an old story. There are some thieves who only target prostitutes, drug dealers, or others engaged in illegal businesses - because they won't call the police. It sounds like the murder victim may've had it coming. If you rob, cheat, manipulate, hurt others and think you are clever for doing so, there is someone willing to humble you and do to you as you've done to others. I love that.
I'm 52. I did my share of wrong things in my 20s but it NEVER occurred to me to even HURT somebody for money. The bar fights weren't premeditated :) But to take someone's life?? And think YOU'RE the special genius that will get away with it?...wow.
Marge (Fargo) Gunderson: ''There's more to life than a little money, ya know. Don'tcha know that? And here ya are. And it's a beautiful day. Well. I just don't understand it....''
I once held money for someone and when I gave it back he said " I didn't give you that much, I gave you more" but I had copies of the statements so it can work both ways!! There are some people that you just can't help!! Their helpless!! Ungrateful and very greedy!!
There are sadly a bunch of scams where people ask someone to hold something valuable (money, jewelry, gold, jems..) then claim it is less than what they gave you, or was switched with a fake (usually they give you fake diamonds, then claim they gave you real ones and you switched them, etc), or damaged...to try to extort money or threaten to go to the police.
Just tell them you gambled it all away at the jai alai or something. Oh! Wait a minute - how about you give it back to your KID? I know, I know, victim blaming not allowed. It's just so damned hard with Florida!
Bank accounts can be seized and emptied if they are in your name. Do the right thing, send it to me. If you have funds that need looking after then I’m your man, I’m trustworthy, I am as honest as the day is long and I don’t have an addiction to fast cars or fast boats.... much. So get me a call. 😜
@@markmike7933 I agree with you on that! In fact, I wouldn’t trust some people I’ve known 40 years to hold my drink 🍺. Sad but true. Life changes people, and after 40 years (unfortunately) - not all of them grew up.
Actually when it comes to greed regular people who have never commited a crine before can upgrade to murder fairly quickly without being a sociopath. Not all criminals who kill for greed are sociopaths. Thats usually reserved for other reasons when it comes to sociopaths or psychopaths.
Guy says, “not built on evidence,” like the body being found on concealed property she owned, killed by a gun she bought for a boyfriend, shall I continue? Worst lawyer ever...
I love that you have so many besquillions of fans that the moment a new TC hits the netwaves, it's in the thousands of views and likes. No one needs to be reminded to hit the like button...it's practically a contest!
I'm just after finding mike's channel. I'm irish, just like mike this is how we speak 🤣🤣 a few other things we say are grand , your man, you one, grand job,
Finally!!! A narrator with a pleasant voice (and lovely accent) who you can tolerate and not worry about it being so shrill it could incite seizures or so boring, dull, nasally and droll you could hit your head when you fall asleep trying to listen. Lol. Well done 👏. You’ve got a fan for life 😊
@@ThatChapter Hello Mike, Can you make a video on the case of Sushant Singh Rajput. He was very successful actor in Indian film industry (Bollywood). The initial report was ruled as suicide, but later a lot of things came up which created a doubt in his fans, I believe the investigation is still on going, though haven’t heard any news recently. Thank you so much. And by the way i like watching your videos. So lets give it a goo.😂
Imagine going to CSI school & having the potential aptitude to get away with a murder, I mean, at least able to cover your tracks better but then failing miserably.
That's it. All she had to do. I believe it would have been a CRIME for the husband to take and spend the money so I don't know what she was worried about. And unless it's one of my childhood friends that I've known FORTY YEARS now, I would NEVER trust someone to hold money. The scary part...that terrifies me for some reason....is that don't these people realize if they get caught they will spend their ONE LIFE in prison. That's it. It's over. The rest is garbage time. End of game. That should terrify everybody enough to not commit murder. But it doesn't.
@@markmike7933 EXACTLY! I agree 100 percent. The only friends I'm letting hold money are the ones I grew up with. And at my age now, that's like 3 people, who I have been friends with since I was like 12. Not someone I met out of my state and had been friends with for about 1 year! No way!
Iont know how ppl take a life sentence so well. Just a nod and slowly being lead away to forever in prison. Soon as the judge reads the sentence I'm like "very well then..." Flipping a table, and Old Boy-ing my way outta there through every lawyer, baliff, and stenographer in the building
Also these cases go on for a longer than the few minutes you see in the clips. They've sat in court for days at a time, listening to every little detail of what they did, what friends and family have to say etc. It's a lot of time to sink in that you're _not fooling anyone and you're going to get life in prison_
I remember when I first seen one of Ur videos a good while ago Mike,I thought what's this not sure I like this,I'm now addicted and have watched so many of Ur videos, absolutely great stuff 👍
@@KOKelly I literally am a chef 🤣 don’t let service industry trick you! I was making $60k salary & all dat ugly drug money while rolling sushi/cooking on the wok
Gotta love being so casual talking about a loved one missing that you can't be bothered to raise your head from being comfortably rested on the back of the couch. You're clearly very concerned and stressed about it.
Here’s the ironic part the woman who was killed is wearing a shirt from US Grunt gear that says “This is my killing shirt” It’s the grey one with the rainbow on it.
I'm not sure what it says about me that I find myself looking forward to your new videos more than I look forward to high budget dramas Mike, but I thank you for the work that you obviously put into this and making these horrible crimes thoughtful rather than voyeristic.
Mike! You NEED "The police didn't think too much of it..." compilations.. Brief summaries of your cases with most salient points and how much the authorities 💩it... I could binge that all day!!!
The, "Devils Dandruff" is now legal in my state, Massachusetts, and the only, "Devil's Work" that has happened is that car accidents have gone down about 50 percent.
@kati b: Thank you for the reassurance. Dozens of hours spent watching these videos has revealed to me that potentially behind every crazy Florida Man lurks an unbalanced Florida Woman. It's only the very outlandish who make it into the headlines and RU-vid videos, I'm sure.
@@WhiteDove73-888 Not even! the chalk drawn silhouette is just a Hollywood trope. CSI take high quality photos of the crime scene, lead investigators don't need this reminder of where and how the body is positioned.
@@mswebcam31 it’s a documentary on Netflix called a disappearance at the Cecil Hotel or something close to that. It’s about all the stuff that has gone on at that place but centers around the Elisa Lam case. Mike pops up a few times in snippets from some of his past videos. It’s a good watch.
In the manslaughter case against that one school shooter's parents for being so negligent, the defense attorney deadass used the quote "bandaids don't fix bullet holes"
Sadly this defense works way more often than it doesn’t. People are so trained to think you need DNA evidence or video recordings of the crime that when those things are lacking they think they cannot find the person guilty “behind a reasonable doubt.”
Imagine you're the defence lawyer: "So you held money for Taylor. Mkay. And you made several significant purchases throughout the year. Alright. You worked previously as a forensic technician and have an intimate knowledge of crimescenes. Okay. You asked friends about how much cocaine could kill a person and then tried to overdose Taylor. Mmmm ok. You were the last person seen with Taylor _and_ you lied to investigators about where you went with her, as evidenced by indisputable cell tower location data. Ok, not good. Your parents have multiple large properties and the cell phone location data shows that you visited one of your parents properties with Taylor on the day she disappeared. Hmmmm. Taylor's body was found buried on a property your parents own, the same property at which both of your cell phones were present on the day of her disappearance. That's not ideal. You were then recorded on CCTV purchasing materials matching those found at the crime scene to conceal Taylor's body. You're additionally being charged in a separate case for embezzlement of funds from your family business and then set a property on fire which is associated with that business in order to destroy financial records... Hmmm well what holes are left in the case here... What type of concrete did you buy?"
She was texting herself from the victims phone sending off pings from her home ahaha wow... she tried to cover all her bases, but she got in then interrogation room just to find out they’re playing football
Probably because they feel safe on their own property. Not many people would question someone digging a hole in their property, but digging a hole in a rural location could be seen as potentially risky. At least I think so - I've never murdered anyone, so I'm no expert.
I mean, going for a leisurely horseback ride is generally the first thing someone would do when they're desperately trying to get their large, vital, sum of money back. (rather than you know, going to the bank)
I've recently gotten my grandma into your channel 😁 She lives true crime, but sometimes it's just too sad and dark for her. So, instead of hearing Law and Order all damn day, shes been binge watching you! She thinks you're really funny and cute ❤
I might be wrong, but I’ve watched since before he had 100k and I can’t remember him ever asking anything of us besides to take care of ourselves. The content & quality speaks for itself
I noticed that right away when I started watching him. It was very refreshing as another person said, and it made me want to subscribe even more than when I am asked to (it's rare a RU-vidr can even ask that without sounding... youtubery.)
Extreme sarcasm and excruciating detail is absolutely necessary because people are more likely to pay attention to negative shit; plus, it's funny as hell.
