The russian mcdonald's called Вкусна и Точка (Vkusna i Tochka) Point and Taste, was a generic version of the fast food joint when 800 of the McDonald's buildings had closed down in Russia in 2022 because of Russia's invasion on Ukraine.

Eventually they'll have to work out some kind of automation BI. A tax on anything automated to be distributed to people who don't have jobs due to automation. Though we're going to need a lot more automation and probably a lot more civil unrest due to it before we get to that point.

Won't ever stop laughing at the name of the Russian replacement for McDonald's. "Vkusno i tochka" ("Tasty, and that's it" --- or, "Tasty, period!" as RussianBall says) -- take out a few letters and you get "Vkus ochka", which can apparently be read "taste of butt". Not 100% sure that's legit, but it's now my headcanon even if it's not for real.
Of course companies have no moralities, for example Niantic didn't officially release Pokemon GO in Russia for like 4 years, and then banned Russia in Pokemon GO as soon as special military operation in Ukraine started. Not just removed it from the russian PlayMarket, but even disable Pokemon spawns, pokestops etc. on the russian territory, making it totally absolutely impossible to play in Russia even if the game downloaded from the unofficial sources. Basically, they harshly punished millions innocent kids who just wanna play Pokemon GO for the decisions of our one glorious president and actions of thousands of our brave soldiers they do not agree with. I could forgive McDonalds, Coca-Cola and others for running from Russia, but I despise Niantic for such awful doings. They are the worst
"MC Donald's caused the collapse of the Soviet Union" Well, I'll have you know that I was born in the spring of 1991, and the Soviet Onion collapsed in the fall of 1991. Does that mean "Me, myself and I" caused the collapse of the Soviet Mutiny?
