DSOD brought me right back to YGO too! Movie was so damn hype, especially Atem showing up in that last duel against Aigami for a brief moment... Makes me wish I could see the actual duel between Kaiba and Atem at the very end of the movie that just lead straight into the end credits too lol
While I enjoy these duels, I can't watch any of the duels with the use of circle and eternal soul since each duel is just getting those out 1st or second turn and then just auto-winning. But, again, I enjoy all the duels not using those cards. Granted, this could just be PTSD from always having to fight it in the past and never drawing backrow removal in any duel against them. edit: I watched it. It was still great.
Funniest thing about DSOD, it actually sparked an interest in YGO. Like before I would easily pass it off, but after I watched it, I got this far. Duel Links, to YGO games, to YGO Sims, and now watching YGO content. I even binged all YGO series besides Vrains.
No but seriously, jokes aside, why does he draw this way? It’s too consistent to be luck. I’m assuming it’s the way his deck is made, like he almost never (on RU-vid) draws cards that are completely useless.
When Rhyme says he's the Pharaoh, he's LITERALLY THE PHARAOH! This man always opens with the best opening hand, AND draws exactly the card he needs for any specific situation. I don't understand how he does it every time. Is that millennium puzzle he bought off of Amazon or ebay the actual millennium puzzle? Edit: 1. Tyree's reactions are still so freaking hilarious, lmfao! Everytime man, it fucking kills me. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 2. I was right! It was bought off of Amazon! I knew it! 3. I'm definitely gonna try and spread the word for more likes for this video. I'm sure Tyree would love to do a part 2 with you again, lmao.
Rhyme really was about to rant about back in the day when you got to play, then proceeds to special summon 3 times in his first turn and has his ace in his hand.
@@rhymestyle wait for Illusion. It makes the card worth running. Or. You can just place it from your hand on top of your deck with soul servant. And then draw 1 from the dark magicians to special summon it. Whilst it’s not a great card and you can brick into it harder than drawing 3 blue eyes turn 1. It can be very worth running if you come across unaffected dark monsters. It’s of course your deck compression, I don’t want to step on your toes but I would like you to get the max benefit from soul servant.
Never did completely leave but, usually every 5 years or so kept checking it out for a few days and forget about it again till the next cycle. My proper return to the game and franchise only really started to happen apon Duel Links' release and one thing you gotta give to Duel Links here is, it helped tremendously in shattering the absolute idiotic mindset me and others used to have back in the day of "only the stuff before 5ds were good", it helped me better warm up to synchros to the point of that now being my favorite summoning mechanic. It made it simple to be eased towards using XYZs, *for the first time in my life was interested in learning pendululms* and from there with Master Duel was finally able to use Link focused decks which made me love that mechanic. And because of that finally giving what I missed out on a proper shot, including the respective series who introduced said mechanics, in retrospect it is now frustrating seeing others still being stubborn about the new stuff, it's why it comes off to some a bit disrespectful when someone "jokingly" claims Duel Monsters is the only "good" or "true" yugioh. Using dragon ball here for example, imagine if people only ever said proper dragon ball is everything before Raditz, hell let's go as far as before Piccolo even, imagine being someone who likes Freeza, Hit, Beerus, Zamasu, Gogeta, etc. and constantly being told that all those characters are dogshit and cannot compare to fucking Tien and Krillin, being told that dragon ball "peaked" right before Piccolo showed up, imagine being told that Super Saiyan ruined dragon ball as a franchise. That's how it comes off to others when someone starts talking about anything past Duel Monsters being terrible and why some in the comments get annoyed when you intentionally or not also do it.
I saw dark side of the dimension. It was a solid 10. But would love to see it be a season 6 to continue duel monsters with the movie being turned into a season
I'm sorry, but how is any of Rhym's cards (except Palladium Oracle Mahad and Base Dark Magician/Dark Magician Girl) representative of the Dark side of Dimensions movie/packs? This is just Dark Magicians vs Blue Eyes- I dont see ANY resemblance from the movie/packs in this duel...
Hey man I'm just saying, I don't remember Yugi running Dark Magic Circle or Eternal Soul or most of the support cards you had in Dark Side Of Dimension. This feels like another excuse to try and make Tyree cry.
No offense, this isn't Yugi's Dark Side of Dimension deck, nor is that Kaiba's deck. So technically, this entire duel was put together to make Rhyme look like a competent duelist tbh. Plus, the rudeness of just constantly talking over people.
This isn't even close to dark sides of dimensions. Crack down was never in the movie anywhere. It would've been too strong and if anyone would've had it then it would've been Kaiba not Yugi. In that movie Atem didn't even duel really. So you wasn't using yugis deck at all. It was clearly your deck but modified. Yugi also only has one dark magician. If i was Kaiba i would've used 3 Blue-eyes jets on you.
You know what this game lacks? Sound effects. There should be like those anime sound effects implemented into the game so it would be more cool. Like when Obelisk is summoned, if you had watched battle city, that kind of thing
I come back by Watching u to much First I was like Skip it when u playing it but one day randomly i given it go and watch u I wanted to play it but on PC MASTER DUAL IS NOT A THINNG in My Region it seems , So Watched more of u then Discovered Their was More Anime Then Just Yu-GI-OH OG And GX so Now im here Watching more and even want to get back into Collating the cards
Yo Rhyme, do you plan on doing playing the Dragon Ball Card Game once they release it on PC? Seereax already mentioned he is so I'm curious if you will join him.
I didnt know the movie existed but ive played i think every yugioh game thats come of out for like the last 15 years. Buying physical cards is way more expensive. I miss old school yugioh but i like alot of the new stuff too. The new dark magician deck is my shit lol stop hating on each other and just love the game together people. Come on💖
To be honest I stopped watching yugioh since yugioh arc v ended and this movie really helped me get my grove back and ever since I rewatched yugioh up to today and dual links came out I was so happy 😊😁
Dark magician is just a way better deck than blue eyes. Way more search and protection while blue eyes is just a beatstick with very little protection and not much search.
I'm pretty sure that the first printing of future fusion back in the day sent the monsters to the grave on the first activation. They changed to the next turn after activation to balance it.
I got back into yugioh because of duel links my friend basically asked me to play duel links with him and he would teach me the basics and I eventually got into the tcg because of him
You know it be cool if you did something like FanDuel once a month or you just picked one fan and added their duelist tag and then you had a match with them, like I know you say you only play friends in that game but I bet a lot of your fans would get a kick out of having a chance to go against you
Modern Yu-Gi-Oh does suck, modern Yu-Gi-Oh negating your opponent from playing the game. It's a game of pile solitaire now instead of duel monsters. Old school Yu-Gi-Oh was 100x better.
I love future fusion. I use it with Alba-Lenatus solely because I can send over 20 dragons from the deck to the grave. I don’t even care if the card never hits the field. Having that many resources in my grave rather than hidden in my deck is insanely powerful and a strat I’ve never seen abused.
The Dark Side of Dimensions movie was absolutely amazing. So many moments sent shivers down my spine, especially with how serious the mood felt compared to the Duel Monsters dub. The voice actors did an amazing job on their characters.
