It's not about the gear in vanilla, it's about the meaningful journey, the meaningful journey of saving this warlock's name in a notepad then take a 2 week break from your job to speed level a new undead rogue to enough of a level where he can gank said warlock, then spend all of your time hunting him until he logs off every day. This shall not go unnoticed in the rogue council meetings.
.. want a bowa of wowa mait to take with ur meds?:P some people need to chill getting way to emotional over a piece of pixels,he could just beg like other streamers for some loot.. ,I did not even knew who this guy is and I wouldn't care so why would I give a random rogue a high valued boe ,only spergs and fanboys like u would be malding. I won the roll for the chest fair and square when everyone else rolled he only puts the videos that suits his narative! so git gut
It’s about the moment, the adventure… that soundtrack, with the campfire at the background, as you come back to cook and feed your pet, and pretty much continue hunting for pelts as the night goes on… and maybe you see a party of similar level adventures run by your camp, perhaps exchange a word or two… that is Classic, is a whole different world, a different life, more immersive than any v.r experience that you may have…
What the? Dude... You just convinced me to play classic again... I did play Vanilla back in 2006, had my classic experience at the start, played another toon right before tbc, but... Seeing Arathi highlands again (I farmed the fire elementals for weeks to be able to pay for my mount and for 2 of my friends... as a HOLY PALADIN!) this just describes my "wow experience" all over as we ran scarlec monastary for literally WEEKS after that. Oh, sweet times...
I REALLY miss the days of traveling as a group to the dungeon. There was something special about that experience and real friendships were forged over this. I love traveling in games. I play fantasy MMOs to go on fantasy adventures and travel to a destination. Not wait in a "hub" for my "que" and get teleported to an instanced location.
Man what a crummy way of deciding loot, if it’s not an upgrade then you greed and that’s that. I’ve personally never been part of a group that needed on an item that someone else could use as an upgrade just to sell it or give it to another character, and if they did it was very shameful on that person and the rest of the group was pissed at them. Like I’d never need on a damn wand just cause it’s worth money if it was an upgrade for the mage in the group. If I where you, I’d establish loot rules going forward before you enter a dungeon, otherwise you might get unlucky and have a situation like this. Sad boi hours 😢
I was in loch modan and I needed help killing elite ogres, got a group of 5 and I invited them all to my guild and I see them around levelling with me every now and then. It was a great time
We did three runs and the sword dropped on the third! I do mention it just as we enter the instance, should've maybe said it more clearly though, I hop you enjoyed :)
Feel your pain, in HC WC I had that blue staff stolen from me by a warrior along with that ring off last boss and I was doing a no shapeshifting challenge on my druid, to top it all off he was in my guild and I died right after that dungeon trying to finish quest with mage. The warrior was afk for like 20 min during the run and stole all the quest items, got fully geared and then complained that nothing good dropped xD. Warrior said he'd help with quest after dungeon to warrant him taking all the quest items, warrior was also LW so they stole all the leather. Everyone in group left except a mage, they helped me however they ended up pulling too much and panicked causing me to run after them and heal as they pulled the whole tunnel, I at least saved their life, worth it because they were a kind soul. Greed is a nasty thing in these kinds of games.
I play/played all versions currently available of WOW and I can see why some people prefer one version over the other. I just go with the mood and the time I have available.
@@vulgrin9573the more bangers you make that get picked up by streamers needing content the faster it will come. Don’t stop the grind. The grind never stops.
11:00 What I do is when I make a group as a warrior is..I make sure I find 3 caster DPS and a non plate healer Sorry hunters, rogues, paladins, warriors we are full.. 😆 These videos remind me of rurikar's adventures Jimmy amma charging my fireball!
Reminds me of my 1st SM GY run on a private Server (ally and horde can group there). Lvl 33 Shm healer rolled need on the blue Chest Set Item... even though Warrior and Paladin needed as upgrade. Ofc Shm won it and said it would be a upgrade for him since he could wear it in 7 levels. Funnily the Hunter and Rogue instantly flamed him but he ignored it. Group disbanded. At least Warrior and me got it the next day + each a Ravager.
Back in the days, the boys and i had a very simple rule for boes in our runs: If you were gonna equip it, then hit NEED and equip it right away. Noone would fight over a legit upgrade, no matter if it was a super expensive epic boe.
HAHAHA!! right when people say they are rolling for their Alt while someone else needs for an upgraded i would of need on all or made sure i over aggro so they wipe a couple time while i can vanish lol or just leave i guesssss. this isn't retail Earning gear is a Pain for rogues pre 40. hahaha!
2019 was a blast but nowadays it's all about buying gold and getting boosted. If you solo quest then era is fine, but I love to level and dungeon grind as a healer. I often find myself logging in, spamming 1 hour for a dungeon and then log out frustrated because it's too difficult to find players as everyone just buys boosts. Sometimes during prime time you get lucky tho.
Vanilla greed is Brutal, the best you can do in Classic 60 Era is to completely turn off the brain that you need shit and some items should actually best suit you. Cuz from lvl 15-60 90% will always think for them self that they want gold or items or even Twink items when you start fresh and they have 60s with full BiS gear and 10k gold!!
I need more! More adventures! More zones! More Dungeons! MOre Lost Rolls, MORE! MORE!!! Seriously though, I have really enjoyed this series, would be great to see Vulgrin rogue all the way to 60 :D
noooooooooooooooooo, I'm farming these on Wrath for my twink and they never drop :( This hurts a lot. 2 very rare twink items in 3 runs But I agree this should have been yours, not the warlocks who probably just made up his mind to make a twink when he saw the cloak... MF should go farm it on his 60 main, or buy it on AH, not steal these from levellers.
what kind of bullshit is rolling boes away from people with need bcs: "this goes to my alt" or "its worth alot of money" thats not how to play the game imo. when Krolblade dropped for my orc warrior in classic launch I told my group straight up im equipping this piece of loot instantly its unfair to roll if you are just greedy and they didnt ratfuck me
This guy only puts the clips that suits his narative , some friends showed me the vid,we did like 3 runs alltogheter and I was passing all the chests until I started rolling for chests in the last runs, I got lucky and got a cloak out of it ,most of the stuff that I got I passed it to the warr ,I don't even know who this guy is so why would I give a random rogue a 100g boe? the only thing I can say is git gut ^^ ah and get rekt :P, I can give u a bit of pepper for that salt D
Dude I dont care about the loot - the video is a joke, like all the videos I make. The "salt" is performative, and its clear that I'm making fun of myself losing this item because it is funny. Sense the tone and chill out.
I put this on yesterday. It is so painful, dull, sluggish and poor quality. I've played this steaming carrion for 20 years, but the game is so stale. I am bored stiff of gear churn, and annoyed at Blizz for giving me idiot dragons for a whole expansion whilst making my 531 other mounts practically useless. Everytime a new patch comes out, it's just more gear and nore currencies. It's not use saying I just grew up, I was already grown up when this came out. Infact my kids have left home so I am lots of spare time for games.
Vanilla wow was epic. Nowadays it's just a shopping mall. Look at the ridiculous GDKP/boosting spam. Just stupid. Also - one of the things that struck me on Whitemane, at least, was the shitty community. While the warlock stealing your cloak was complete BS - that seems pretty typical. I was playing on an emulator server and it felt good to see everyone passing when one person needed for their class. Salt in the wound on the Butcher roll - again, what a pos (Krispin...total shit). That's a far better experience than this. Hard pass.
Thats good, I don't know why Turtle WoW does it as it goes against everything vanilla and is bad for the community, on a PvE server sure since nothing there matters anyway. But not on PvP which is how the game is supposed to be played, back in the day you couldn't even communicate with the opposing faction, you just had this seething hatred for them and couldn't wait until you reached lvl 60 so you could get revenge on all the opposing faction noobs.
