Puff has been involved in good projects and I used to revere him as a producer. The more I learnt about the money grabbing the less respect I had for him as a person. Elvis Presley was taken advantage of in the same way Puff took advantage of other artists around him. The use and abuse of artists profiteering off of their songs and deals is the thing that goes against all values as a human, which is what this point is about. Listening to music and its production is not condoning the actions, one can be objectively listening. Also Elvis didn't TM&R at appropriating the sound and style of black rock and roll, he came up in their community and was accepted as a human being doing covers of not just rock but blues too. Spinning rhetoric bullshit out of AI aiming an attack at the speaker making a reductionist and myopic view of history to defend the malicious actions of Sean Combes isn't going to cut it. The protection of artists is the basis of my statement, what's yours? Straight up defending Sean Combes? Who benefits from that?
