Sorry I forgot to thank those beautiful Patreon Sponsors at the start of my video: Zach Croteau and Gipsy Stormcloud! There's something weird going on with my camera in this video and I was trying my best to fix it. SUPPORT ME ON PATREON, GET COOL STUFF! www.pateron.com/WalcomS7
Has anyone else seen the new dart zone pump action 40 dart alternating drum slam fire blaster. I think it's probably going to be better than this. My only question is why this blaster didn't get the same drum?
Nerf: "Let's sell our crappy darts $10 for 20 Dart Zone: "Let's sell our superior darts $20 for 40, and include one of the most war effective blasters on the market
I bought a box of 200 for 10 bucks at Walmart the other day. I’m no stranger to people saying that they are the best darts for the price, but nothing prepared me for how tight my grouping was. I was actually stunned that darts could be that precise (to a degree, we’re not talking pinpoint here) and for that, I must say thank you Dart Zone
Last year on Black Friday I snatched up a magnum for 10 bucks, best foam flinging purchase since I started nerf in 2011. Edit: I picked up a magnum superdrum x2 earlier today at target since they went in stock, now this is one of the best foam flinging purchases EVER! You need to get one if you don’t have a original.
Yet again, the Chad Dart Zone Blasters assert their dominance over the Virgin Nerf Ultra Series. In all seriousness, it seems that Dart Zone really listens to what hobby Nerfers want!
Dart Zone, although I suspect that you watch Walcom, I doubt that you comb through the comments. However, if you do, thank you! The Magnum was one of the best blasters that you’ve ever made and to see the extent for which you have gone for the fans shows only the truest respect. You have absolutely have won me over. I’ve been doing this for 25 years straight now and am raising up my own family. Thank you for listening, caring, & and putting thought into your product.
Walcom S7 last video "THIS BLASTER IS GARBAGE, DON'T GET THIS" Walcom S7 this video "This Blaster Is Awesome, Get This" ....I like this layout. It leaves you with good feelings
I got the Magnum X2 yesterday and own the original with several drums.... I still pick this up. One thing I love about the Dartzone brand is that they actually listen to feedback from consumers and it shows.
This blaster is so much fun not only in war but also for plinking around the house. Idk how or why but once you get this blaster in you hands. It's almost impossible to put down. I highly recommend getting this blaster for all your foam flinging needs.
Round of applause for the engineers and the rest of the X shot team. It would seem there a fan of fling’ in foam. The proof. Affordable blasters with excellent performance and kick ass design. Team work makes the dream work. A company that understands what the customers want and make products accordingly. What more could you want. 😊
I'm not too deep into an original Magnum Superdrum, one blaster and 2 drums, so this might be an option in the future. The one-handed nature is appealing and unique. I haven't taken off the original stock but I can tell this is a vast improvement. If only more companies listened to their customers and improved on their craft. Thanks for the review.
This thing was made for slam fire, it’s really accurate and shoots far, and has 40 darts. Also, it’s only 20 dollars. It doesn’t even need a huge comment, it’s just so cool, and I actually really want it.
How do you fix over indexing? Mine fires every other one. Single fire with a SLOW prime. Any kind of slam fire it skips 1-5 chambers. I have reinforced the index spring and added extra thickness to the orange index piece to get a better purchase on the drum but it still skips every other one on slam fire
I had the original the only problem was the prime slipped when I slam fired. Other then that when I removed the stock it was an amazing blaster. Definitely will pick this up
Pretty sure the Magnum is half-dart compatible if you make a minor change or two. The drums doesn't seem like it has a dart post, so you should be able to shove half darts in there. Sure, the drums could be smaller to make it half-dart only, but I don't see the point of that. There does seem to be a dart flap that prevents you from using half-darts, but it looks like you can just open up the blaster and easily pull that out.
@captsomeguy1 I remember you gave me the idea to remove the flap when I first heard about that blaster. I finally purchased one tonight, opened it up and took the flap out and it works great. Thank you so much for that brilliant idea. It's so fun!
Ok, so i DONT own the original only due to stock problems. Now that i have seen this review, i WILL be buying this! Ive always wanted one and now i will own the 2.0 version! This looks amazing, thanks for the review Walcom. Keep up the great work!!
The best improvement they can give this is sell it in europe, there's a nerfer market there that they're hardly tapping. Dartzone, you want to make more money? Put your blasters on shelves here where moms can buy it for their kids for christmas! I'll take two of these please.
I find it increasingly odd that Dart Zone blasters are scaling back in their FPS. At first I thought it was them getting cheap, but I'm starting to wonder if they're facing legal scrutiny for their blasters running hot. I could, of course, also have no idea what I'm talking about. Edit: I will say that, not yet having got into modding in any serious way, I prefer to hang onto my original Super Drum, despite preferring the aesthetics on this one.
My favorite is BuzzBee if you want cheap fps. Their 6v system tommy gun will run great and terrify with its scream with an 18v Dewalt or other drill battery. My cousin had a 24v on his and oh my goodness, just the sound of it spooling up was terrifying, and almost breaks glass (windows will seriously flex back and forth to the extremes when hit), it’s a real work of art, and I think I bought it for him for $20 and it’s full auto, I just wish so badly it had one of these 40 round drums instead of the 20 round, because it’s epic... and no parts need changing besides using a higher voltage battery. It’s actually louder than my very noisy wildfire air powered Gatling (which I was almost too afraid to use on college campus for H1Z1 because someone might mistake it for suppressed gunshots, and the whole room froze when I was testing it to make sure the officials were fine with it, haha, that thing is loud and amazing out of the box, I wish they still made them, or a belt fed version).
Would you be able to 3d print some some parts that would make old drums compatible? Cause you could make two separate parts that screw into each other to come in on both ends to make either side needed.
Walcom, I gotta ask. Is there a reason your outro music is always twice as loud as the rest of the video? Because....owww. Always have to slam my finger on the volume down button.
It's a nice blaster, but personally I prefer X Shot Turbo Advance. Pump action instead of slam-fire is a good trade for me. Same with way smaller drum but having to use the switch after 20 darts. Bigger blaster size is actually a pro for me because it's more comfortable and I'd use this type of blaster as my only blaster in the loadout anyway.
I hope that Fast Shots Magnum knockoff finds it’s way to my part of the country one of these days. I found the Vigilante shotgun knockoff recently. (Yes, performance is terrible but yes, it looks awesome)
hey uh, i bought this blaster recently but there is an issue with mine. the magazine keeps falling out when i put it in and i threw away instructions. please help
You know looking at how the drum attaches could you make a straight mag for it? If you take out the rotation mech and then modify a nerf mag could it be done? I think that would be cool.
Hey Walcom, I was wondering if I took the access door off my nerf retaliator would it still operate normally or lock up and become unusable? Please answer soon.
I had the first version of it and it was cool, if not a little odd, when it was firing properly it hit pretty hard. The one I had would fire about 70% of the drum harder than average and then they would be some duds but that may have been the pre-waffled dark days where things just wanted the same.. BUT, I think this go round in 2020, I'd TOTALLY rather have the Villainator for the same $$. How about you?
Sooooo pretty! Im actually using a magnum in a mod that i cant wait to finish. Also, is it just me or is Walcolm looking a little skinnier? Either way, cant wait to pick this up. Ive picked up Magnums at goodwill for anywhere from $2 to $5
$20 for this? Yeah, gotta buy this one. Cause I'm pretty lazy when it comes to Nerf and I prefer to just be able to shove darts from a pouch and not carry mags so something like this is just perfect for me.
