Tbh, Odobert is further along at his age and has a higher ceiling than both Eze or Neto at half the price and it will be thrilling to watch him develop into a monster over the next few years along with Bergvall, Gray, Yang, Sarr and Udogie. Quite surprise that the season had not started yet the so called "fans" are already slating and writing off players and the manager instead of getting behind the team and just supporting and enjoying the team play. U can say u have realistic expectations but still support the team quietly. But to publicly say manager getting sacked, team will have a bad season, players that are just signed will not deliver is plainly making the so called fans an absolute joke!

What people seem to forget is Tottenham Hotspur as a club are known for bringing in completely unknown youngsters on the world stage and they turn into superstars/world-beaters at our club. Walker, Modric, Bale, Kane, Dele for a while. Get this mentality of mercenary buying out of our fandom. It's why we went for Solanke and not Toney. Its why we've gone for this kid and not Bakayoko or Neto or anyone else. They don't really want to be here. They'd be coming for the security of a long term contract and nothing else. I do wonder if Neto was a smokescreen to lure Chelsea into buying him (because we all know what they're like). If I'm Neto I'm picking Chelsea because i know my injury record isnt great and they'll give me the wages I want and a lengthy contract In Odobert we've bought a younger, hungrier, fitter, both footed winger and the stats do not lie. Hes going to get a hell of a lot better

He got 15 goal contributions last year in a team that scored 40 goals. We scored twice that and now have an elite finisher in Solanke. Are we not happy with a bloke that can bring 30+ goal contributions from one side of the park? And who is still young and so should get better year on year?

This signing was a bolt out the blue to be honest I was hoping for a experienced winger with pl experience for this season not for the future after all anje did say he wants to challenge for the pl this season ya we got a winger with pl experience but why am I not happy I dint no I trust anje with what signings he wants so im hoping that this guy will shine for us this season because we desperately need a winger for the now look I'll get behind him 100 percent but I can't see us challenging for the pl this season maybe anje sees something in all these young players we signed I just hope he wil be a key player for us this season

Its a signing for the system, so we dont know how its going to end up. Guy is 19 and has 2 underwhelming seasons as experience (Prem+Ligue1). I back the signing as it gives us more options and could potentially be good for us per the stats, but boy did we overpay. 25m, you know.

not super happy with all this young players buying, but if they shine like lets say udogie did last seasons, suddenly we have 2x priced players. Its just a matter of Brighton effect where they find gems and after one season sell it for nearly 100mil. Ok so thats Solanke for £65m...should be costing about £30m. Gray for £40m...should be costing about £20m And now Odebert for £30m...should be costing about £10m Incredibly Spurs have overpaid by about £75m which would virtually have paid for an Alexander Isak. The club are simply a laughing stock.

I just don't understand our transfer policy. I got that in the very first season when we signed "decent players" and young players, I accepted that ok, first we need players who are able to play the system, we can worry about quality later etc, Arsenal did the same thing, but after they had the players they started to pay 100m-s for Rice and for game changer players. We just randomly sign seemingly talented players and overhaul our squad. What's the point of this? We HAD the money to buy eze but instead we signed 2 young kids. In general this seems like a decent signing, but I just don't understand. We have a generational talent Moore, we have 3-4 wingers to both wings, what's the point of this? We were good on the wings both in terms of numbers and in terms of young guys, what was the point of buying another talented young guy? This is the point where we should've start signing proven players who can lift the team up immediately.

Ange didn't sign him, Levy did. But 100% when he flops and does nothing this season you'll blame it on Levy instead of on Ange. He's an average player that doesn't offer too much. He wasn't even known by anybody before yesterday, and apparently now he's had fantastic games and has great highlight reels. Comedy gold.
