What I realize is that people take longer to make a decision about buying an apartment, than about choosing your life partner. The latter is WAY more important ; )
Because if you take it slow her emotions and ego will take over and she will chase you. Relationships are the opposite of nature and to flip nature on its head you have to make her wait until she explodes with curiosity and desire. Women want what they can't have.
this video is great and right on time but i am the one who was asked to slow things down although we like each other and have dated for like a month. then the first time when i heard that i kinda got upset but today i just called him and said i am willing to take things slow at his pace so he could probably know me better.

This helped me- my husband left me after 18years- I built myself up met a guy, he swept me off my feet I wanted to go slow but he spoke to me and did all the right things so I gave in! Huge mistake The attention continued then one day it stopped- I went crazy! He said to me I want to take it slow…now my emotions are messed up. Yes, this happens more than it should. Men get waaaaay worked up hormonally / sexually and want to go all in. But when they realize they've overcommitted due to sexual brain fog, the wake up and subsequent back off are brutal. Especially when they were so hyped up towards you! You can NOT trust what a hormonally hyped up man says.

Such a good video. I just started out in a great relationship and want it to be healthy. This provided such great insight because it is so easy to get overly excited, but truthfully you need to get to know someone before really throwing L bombs out.
i have a question and would like to get your opinion! when he was 181/2 and i was 19 now we are 56 and 57 and we are in a long distant relationship and he is going to move to the state where i am and we are going to live together in August of this year, when we went our own way in 1980 i was pregnant and had no idea how to get ahold of him, but that was the only man that i had been with back then, now in the 37 years we've been apart he has had 2 other son with 2 different women, i was married for 20 year and have had 4 other children, for me i have never been in love with any other man like we had when we were younger, what do you think about this, we still have a connection, we video chat every night and we want to have a relationship again, but i think it would be a good idea if we took this slow, because i would want this to last for the rest of our lives, because we always have loved the way each other is even though we are adults now
