Im laying in a hospital bed right now. Just had my gallbladder taken out yesterday. I was terrified of being put to sleep as well, but I don't even remember falling asleep. You'll be fine!
ugh it's the day after my gb surgery and it sucks. however yesterday after they released me, I was in so much more pain from the incisions & all the air trapped in my stomache and back. thankful for your videos, they have helped out to see what to expect. Hopefully it'll be easier everyday.
+ruthc0413 I'm sorry! Yes the first few days are rough, but it will get better. Just know this pain is temporary. But definitely stay ahead of the pain with your medicine. So, instead of waiting to take medicine until the pain is really bad, if your pain is somewhat hurting but you feel it rising, I would take medicine then. If you're having a rough day, this is what helped me. Think of 3 things you're thankful for. That could be a person, an animal, anything. Don't lose hope. It will get better. I appreciate you watching and I'm glad I could help you!
Finally had my surgery yesterday, had that same feeling with my shoulder. Despite the pain I am glad I went through with surgery :) so worth it :D just taking it easy :D
Awww......good to see your getting better.....love the video's, im getting my gb out witin the next 5 weeks and im soooo scared of being put to sleep!!!
Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoy the videos! The videos may be post poned for a little bit. I am having some technical difficulties that will be fixed soon. Oh wow. I felt the same way, but actually that was the smoothest and quickest part. Don't worry. It'll go great. I will be praying for you!
Had mine out yesterday the 16th of July, 2020 and my belly button incision really hurts. I had laparoscopic surgery but out of my 4 holes, my bellybutton incision is about 3 inches long.
