I have always admired Ironmen. The first time I watched this video was 4 months ago, and it convinced me to immediately sign up for one myself. I am now 12 weeks into training, and I am doing my Ironman in June 2024. I love coming back to this video and watching you finish, as it is truly magnificent and emotional. I have had a lot of success in triathlon and racing and do not see much worth learning from the majority of videos on RU-vid. I’ve seen and read every expert talk about every little thing about triathlon and listened to every motivational speaker, yet none of them can match Rob and Arno in this video. I do ultra endurance sports, and I can totally relate to this "crying for no reason" state when totally wasted. It is the weirdest mix between pain and pure happiness. Congrats to you both, you had what it takes, and once you know it, it changes your life!
Incredible achievement guys, holy shit. I got emotional at the end there, it's honestly insane that you guys managed to get fit enough for this in only 8 months and not completely destroy your bodies (I hope). I can't even imagine how endless this triathlon must feel.

The looks you guys gave each other between 8:15 and 8:36 are the whole video for me, you worked and trained so hard, you both felt confident but still with that little something of fear, nervousness, stress and adrenaline combined before the race, all I saw is a little brother cheering his big brother, and I saw a big brother concerned and caring for his baby brother, thank you guys for the inspiration, and what a montage Milan delivered. The eyes chico, they never lie.
I am 8 weeks out from my first full distance ironman, i started this journey at 120kg and sit at 80kg now i can relate to this on so many level you guys are inspirations and the whole pre race part got me so hyped! congrats guys well done !!!!!!!

I discovered your channel with the first video of the ironman training. Since I binged your videos and thought fuck it, I wanna do something great too. Now I'm working on my training to one day run a marathon. I know it is not as ambitious as your amazing goal, but you guys really motivated me to get to that goal. Watching this video made me ugly cry to see how far you guys have gone.

I watched the series last year and it gave me the motivation to sign up for an ironman in 2024. I am now less than 3 months away from my race and I'm rewatching the series to keep me sharp during the last months of training. I can honestly say that it has already changed my life! Man this brings me back to my emotions on my first 70.3 last week. I will push through to the full one. For the 70.3 I lost 20 kilos in a year and with no endurance background finished in 5:33. A full one is such an amazing feat, speechless.
I am so proud of you guys. I know 8 months ago that i had a whole conversation with rob if he could do it. I said if you keep training you can. And now you did it, proud is a understatement
I'm currently watching the video about 50 times. Whenever I'm indoors on my bike, this video is the biggest motivation for me. I've currently gone from 15KM at the beginning to 60KM, which I can now ride. Thank you both for the inspiration. And hopefully I'll see you at an Ironman next year! On met la patate!!!

Incredible accomplishment. I don’t think anyone understands the stress, anxiety and emotion that goes into not only the training but also finishing the race. Die trackers volgden echt in schocken en sprongen, maar het was wel super om het zo te kunnen volgen. Bij Arno had ik echt schrik dat er iets aan de hand was, omdat hij zoveel was aan het wandelen. Maar ik was zo blij dat jullie het gehaald hebben. Milaan heeft het echt zo goed gefilmd (+ de 2 extra camera mannen). Hopelijk niets te ernstig opgelopen met de voet.
