Here is the full 38 minute version. We were driving down the road in the RV that has "The Asher House" logo's on the side. They we're taking these pups to the shelter and saw us...
The genuine shock and sorrow in Lee's eyes when he understood that the puppies had been dumped...and his immediate caring reaction. What a great hearted guy! Thank you for saving the puppies and thank you for your fanstastic laughter. We love you Lee!
Lee Asher is amazing. I adore him & he is living the dream. I wish so badly, I could have done what he is doing. I did but it was with cats. It was not as fun & exciting but after my accident, my dream was trashed. I am so happy that Lee is able & I pray, he can do this 4ever. God bless him ❤❤❤
I used to work in a State park in California and as I sat in the booth on Hwy 49, collecting fees, I witnessed quite a number of people pull over and just toss an animal out. Cat's , kittens, puppies and dogs, it was heartbreaking. I got license plates when I could and reported them. I grabbed the critters before they were hit by a car. Most went to the shelter and I took some home. People can be thoughtless, uncaring bastards at times. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you do. You give me hope.
I love you for being such a wonderful person and caring for dogs and all animals you have a happy soul and good hearted my dream since I was a 10 year old little girl was to have lots of land rescuing dogs and give them a loving and safe home. I would rescue all types of animals I’m too old now I will die without realizing my dream watching you brings me joy. God bless you, Thank you
@@ccp9900 That's a beautiful dream. I'm so sorry you were not able to do it! Have you watched the Dodo channel? Those videos might also bring you joy. Also wondering if you could foster, volunteer, or do something else locally that might bring you a bit of that sense of helping.
I have such an amazing amount of respect for this man! He literally takes it upon himself to take animals out of HORRIBLE situations and takes them home! What a guy!!!
Lee is so adorable- “I just found some puppies” to the gas lady all proud. I love how Lee sees the good & joy in every situation. Mad respect & love for this man. ❤🐾🦮🦴
Love you, Lee. Please don’t stream while driving!! Your fur babies need you, god forbid something happens to you. You’re precious and so are all the pups riding with you. Be careful , please.
I don't mind being a fellow finger wagging ol granny since we're all here cuz we value you and all you do -- but I was having a moment in another video when I didn't see a seatbelt on Lee. Around the small towns I understand but please man, please wear the seatbelt, just imagine being stuck on crutches or in a wheelchair and not being able to go down to the river with the dogs!! They need you and we need your inspiration, you don't realize all the people you help with your video stories, like me, please don't gamble your life and health, really Dude. Okay???!? SAFETY. You're an animal too. Set an example!!!!!! (We love you). Xo
@@janethalken8269 Excellent comment!! Those who've Never been in accidents, dont realize how quickly they can happen. Also, how deadly one simple crash can end in death.
We live in a desert area and twice we have found cardboard boxes full of puppies dumped out in the middle of nowhere. I still have bad dreams from it because for the pups in one of those boxes, it was too late. So, even though what happened with your crate of puppies wasn't very convenient or easy for you, i am grateful the previous owners attempted to find the dogs a new home rather than leave them to die. As for you, Lee, there aren't enough words to express how grateful i am for people like you and Asher House.
I have had the same experience but with cats. Since we had a few cats at home people used to dump new born kittens in front our gate, sometimes in boxes sometimes just by the side of the road. Many of these kittens would not even have opened their eyes. Crows would have pecked at some 😢 so some didn't survive. And I used to take them all in. Huge thanks to my mother ❤ who never ever said no.
@@tracywood7830 awww, such kind words Tracy Wood, thank you so much dear. I have huge huge respect 🙏❤️ for people (fosterers) who take in animlas, broken both physically and mentally, and nurse them back to health with all their love. Bless all you wonderful people out there.
Man, be happy and proud that, even though they "dumped" precious life onto you, they recognized that you were the best choice in their moment for the salvation of two pups. Your spirit shines through to even those who don't know you.
Please be safe Lee. Being a bit risky driving and looking at the phone. If you were to hit something, the dog in the front seat would go out the window at the same speed you were driving at before you hit the object. Thank you for saving those pups. I hate it when this happens. And I'm so grateful for you...just want you and the dogs to be safe!
Unnecessary and rude I’m sorry I wasn’t going to say anything but do you think he’s two years old and he’s not doesn’t have common sense of a two-year-old he’s always always to talking about the safety of his animals and those big ass vans don’t drive very fast If you can’t say anything nice don’t say anything at all
@@joyceanderson8343 I dont think that's being rude. Accidents do happen, you know, however great of a driver you are. Expressing your concern doesn't mean ur rude.
@@joyceanderson8343 you act like she called him a monster! Live streaming and texting while driving is illegal in most states. We all love this guy and what he does but streaming/texting and driving is not safe.
Have only recently discovered the Asher House videos. I love love love this guy and all of his pups! He talks to his babies so sweetly, and obviously has a heart of gold.
Yes, wouldn't the world be a better place if we all made an effort to kinder... in various situations. This man is a brilliant example to all of us. Take care from Australia🐾🐾🐨
His lip quiver as he read the note on the crate, honestly broke my heart. You are so kind and caring, I can't believe people did this. Also you nearly had me saying "I'll just leave them here" 😂.
Please get a dashboard mount for your phone. You and those pups are so precious. It’s dangerous to be looking at your phone and reading comments. Even one second could be life or death. ❤️
Lee seems intelligent and to read people well. And I can relate to his disdain for silly questions 😜. Bravo Lee for maintaining composure while rescuing the puppies, gazing up and still doing a great job with the live recording!⭐
Lee you are a trip! Your ADHD is definitely in overdrive today. It was so great that you rescued those pups even though you didn't have much choice. They are so cute and very lucky to have you as are the rest of your pack!
📢( listeners please like comment share subscribe and hit that Bell) Lee, I seen you on The Ellen show and I knew who you was! Comforting to know I'm not the only one with ADHD But Lee you are one of a kind ⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡ I adore you🕊️ I totally admire you you are an honorable soul 🙏 God bless you🤍 for what you have done ❣️ You are 💯 percent integrity
My goodness, yes! I love him and I normally just love these RU-vid videos, but I’m 12 minutes in and it’s been driving while looking at his phone-endangering himself, the dogs, and everyone else on the road- accompanied by disjointing rambling… It’s very different from his normal. I really do have enormous respect for Lee and what he does, I’m just dismayed.
He's pretty calm when he's with the pack. He lets them be the chaos. Nothing but him and a camera right now plus microphone and he's got stuff on his mind. I am not neurodivergent but I have had those gotta match movements while I'm driving and I got to tell you I've come pretty close do some nasty collisions had someone else been in the other lane. Distraction is no good for anybody while driving.
Lee, don't ever worry about us and staying on the live feed. Just turn off the phone and be with those babies, as quickly as you can before you, they, or your vehicle gets hit on the busy road. We'll be waiting for you always. They look scared and so vulnerable. They need quiet and peace (and water.)
Give yourself a big pat on the back with the way you kept smiling although we knew you were in shock as you could see it in your eyes. Your one in a million for all that you do for the animals no matter the situation. Love you Lee you have a heart of gold ❤️
You gotta realise macaws are a really specialised creature.. they are so long lived and intelligent they take everything to heart and remember everything.. at 27 he’s about the stage in age as you, and he will live as long as you! It’s that kind of commitment.
1st time watching this rescue of 2 pups on the road by 2 crazy folks just setting puppies in their carrier on the roadside. I felt upset for a moment or 2 but then realized the puppies were better off without those 2. You went through so many emotions Lee and I'm proud of how handled it all. Just to let you know that even though your mind was going in all directions, your spirit and loving heart were shining through!!!Good bless you and your family.
Here we have a person driving while reading messages on a phone, risking the lives of everyone on that road. He’s an absolute hero for his work with animals, but that’s not cool.
Jesus... poor babies... to leave them on the side of the LOUD, NOISY, SCARY highway kinda angers me BUUUUT I am DEFINITELY thankful that you were there to be their ANGEL! You my friend are a TRUE Superhero 🦸♂️! THANKS for being a like minded advocate for ALL of God's creatures! Keep up the great work & I'm POSITIVE you'll find perfect homes for these fur babies!🥰🤗🤗🤗
I love you Lee, the way you can remain calm yet pull a joke and take these puppies into your care. The pure look of shock yet love, then the singing I love your personality and big heart. Thank you for everything you do!! Lol all phone angles are fine on you hahahaha you make me laugh so much ❤
I still think it was an opportunist. I don't believe for a second that those pups were actually going to a shelter. Not with the way they were crated and then treated.
God Bless you Lee for having such a kind heart ❤ please consider having a human co-pilot when you go out for the day. Not only can they help with driving, but they can help you if anything happens to you while traveling with the furry family. You would not want them to be alone. Love you ❤🐶
Omgosh, WHY??? This is the strangest video Ive ever seen. Those people obviously saw you on RU-vid or social media, knowing your heart, you would take them Lee. Wow. Poor furrbabies. Frickin people, spay, neuter your pets! Thankyou Lee for all you do. Your pack loves you so much. Blessings for good health, success in all you do. Much love. 🤗🙏💕❤🐾
My husband and I just watched this entire video as we have been doing with your videos all day! It's so exciting for me as I usually watch all the animal rescue videos by myself but for some reason he started asking me questions about you when I was watching one of your videos. My husband is now addicted to Asher House as I am. We watched this like it was a movie or TV show and we both cracked up a number of times. Our favorite line was when you turned to the contents of the cage (don't want to give anything away) and you said "My name is Lee Asher, I'm sure you've heard of me" and when you said the note said "to breast feed them" to the lady pumping your gas. We are not in a position to send a donation right now but we will be soon but we feel like we can support you by watching tons of your videos all the way through and so we will doing that now more than before. We live in NYC in Harlem and have a very old Shih Tzu that we rescued and a tiny cat that we also rescued and you make me be a better pet mom every day!
Well, that was an adventure Lee! I lost it when you said "it's not my best angle" when picking up the crate! Still laughing through this situation 🤣 What a day! I'm honestly glad the pups are with you now though ❤
I've watched this twice and cried each time. Those poor babies looked scared in that crate on the side of the highway. I am so glad that you have them now, bless you for all you do Lee. love from a fellow rescuer in Canada.
You’re an Earth Angel and it was bound to happen. Now you need to start an Amazon wish list cuz you need a dashboard phone holder for one.😊Thank you for rescuing these precious babies. They’re adorable.🥰🐶🐶♥️
I love your caring heart and soul Lee. Thank you for rescuing dogs, birds in need. You are a wonderful person for creating Asher House. I would love a life like yours for sure. Love the videos of all the dogs romping and living a life of joy, love and security.... Linda
I’m busting! This is so crazy but it seems to be your life and you just roll with it and take care of these animals unconditionally and they become part of your family. You are amazing 🐾
ASHER, YOU ARE NOT JUST AN ANGEL..YOU ARE AN "ARCHANGEL", ONE OF GOD'S FINEST!!❤❤❤🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼👍👍👍🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 GOD PLACED YOU THERE TO RESCUE HIS DOGS... YOU ARE AN AWESOME SOUL & I AM HONORED TO KNOW GOD MADE SUCH AN AWESOME SOUL AS YOU. SENDING YOU MANY BLESSINGS & THANKFUL PRAYERS ON BEHALF OF ALL THE ANIMALS YOU HAVE RESCUED.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Lee you are a saint. Your reaction to the puppies being left was so heartfelt and caring. And how you are handing the day. We love you Lee. Those poor puppies!
So basically, you rescued a 27 Year old, permanent 2year old. 😁 And a couple of doggos💙💜 Lee, your an amazing person. I dunno alot about Macaws but what I do know is that their dollar value goes up A LOT with the more words they can say and the more that they can interact with people. They are amazing animals and can easily be a great addition to any family.
Out of the videos I’ve seen of yours this one highlights your soul as well as your ADHD all at the same time lol. I can’t imagine this trip without seeing it for myself. Your excitement over the parrot amd then your devastation over what the people did with those perfect little puppies. You turned it all into positivity and comic relief. What a ham you are!
You're wonderful for taking on all the challenges of rescuing so many dogs, You have a great attitude under such difficult circumstances. Enjoy all of those challenges as the benefits are wonderful and rewarding!
The last 10 minutes of this video is the funniest part of this emotional rollercoaster. Lee Asher is one of the funniest guys to watch...just how he interacts with his dogs and other humans
You can see the light in your eyes when your going on a rescue! Your a special Angel May the Maker of the Universe Bless you and your Fur Babies Always 🐕🦮🦙🐷🐩🦢
Heres the pat on the back. 🖐🖐🖐 I love your laugh Lee. Plus You have the biggest heart out of anyone. You are genuinely a wonderful guy. Thank you for rescuing the Macaw. He is going to the best home. THANK YOU for taking in the puppies. God knows what would have happened to them if you weren't around. YOU ROCK LEE!!!!
I loved when you picked me up carried me to the RV, looking into my eyes. Gave me goosebumps. {wicked grin}. Good job man on the pups. I know it was an inconvenience but it’s quite the compliment that they knew you would take them and give them a better life than the shelter could. A bit rude yes, but still amazing. Maybe I should throw myself in front of your Rv for a better life.
Your smile is infectious - no matter what I see you doing I am grinning ear to ear. You are an amazing person, I am sure you hear that often but I hope that you truly believe it. You bring faith, humor, humility, determination, and genuine self reflection to the table in your videos. I appreciate that. Thanks for sharing you.
Oh Lee the emotions you were going thru . I felt the shock of what was Happening in the moment. I love how you live from the Heart. Bless you for who you are and the love those 2 cute puppies will receive. May we see the Parrot rescue.
@@Tribute2Mike Why would he stage that? It doesn’t make sense. He doesn’t need to stage a dumping when he’s already known for fostering and adopting all sorts of dogs. Why would he want to give anyone any ideas about how to dump an animal so he takes them?
Idk how he does not have more subscribers. If there is anyone on RU-vid that I wanna see get millions of subs it’s this channel! I share these videos as much as possible I hope everyone shares and gets people to subscribe. He is one of the most amazing people I have ever come across on RU-vid! You truly are a saint and a hero to the animals you rescue!
The love, light and joy that makes you YOU is so contagious! My life is so difficult but I always feel so much better when I watch you. It is a blessing!
lee u just turned such a horrible cruel incident into a comical situation!! ur expressions made me laugh so hard!! u r truly an amazing man!! The world needs more ppl like u!! Keep doing what ur doing these beautiful creatures need YOU!!
Ash, hon, I do agree with everyone else asking you to please get a better camera set up, a dash cam, so you don't have to look away from your driving. Get one with a large screen and put your font and GIGANTIC so you can glance at it as you go. We would be terrified if we saw things go really bad for you behind the wheel of your car. Okay, son?
This is the most entertained I've been in a long time!!! I am a therapist and I have never experienced so much ADHD in 38:10 minutes. Thank you, Lee and God bless all that you do!
I think you're over analyzing this. He is excited and is living the life. There's a huge difference. Huge. Analysts many times think they have to play God with everybody they meet. You're not God. You're not a mind reader. You're not his therapist. Get over yourself.
I'm not concerned for him. He's one of the most real people around. He is truly entertaining and that's a good thing. I enjoy every video he puts out and love that he's living the life he's chosen. He's awesome!!!
You may not be a philosopher but your philosophy of rescuing the abandoned and in desperate need, is one we should all aspire to. ❤️❤️ I would have picked them up without hesitation too.
Wow! That threw you for a loop didn't it. I'm glad the puppies are safe but sorry you got so blindsided. Let us know how the pups are after the vet sees them.
He's also reading texts while driving and looking at the phone more than the road. It's incredibly reckless and could easily kill someone (including the dogs).
was he the one driving? he was on the passenger side while filming this i think, unless he was using a UK styled vehicle where the driver side is the right side and not the left. but yes, he absolutely should get a dashboard camera, and a dashcam too just to be safe. ok have to edit this cause wow ya he was driving while on his phone. my dude i'm highly disappointed in him that's dangerous and reckless! ):
"Avaitor bird" 😂😂😂😂 I love you Lee. You have the best joyous laugh. There need to be more beautiful souls like you Lee. Thank you for everything that you do for the animals! You are superman!!!! 🤗❤😁
My parents had a scarlet macaw named Robert. He’d chew down a mop handle every week. Amazing animals but definitely need knowledgeable care! Hope all goes well! 💗🦜
I'm so sorry for your loss. It was hard for me to watch also knowing my uncle would still be alive if the driver that struck his motorcycle was paying attention to that road.
I don't understand everything you say because I speak French. But I can Watched you laugh, even though I don't know why you say. You're really funny. Don't give up, you're so good with animals.
Wasn't expecting that at all. They were absolutely following you. Now you need to stay on the down low before all sorts of people be coming out. On a good note I'm glad you have them even though they were dumped on the side of the road...it could of been worst outcome for the pups.
I remember this when it was first posted. Gosh how heartbreaking . I'm glad Lee was there. Who knows whatever shelter those people went to would've accepted the puppies. Then what? Lee, I know it's been over a year but, you were meant to be there for the puppies.
Ahhh real life Sir Lee!!! You're a cool pickle, all your angle's are fabulous, you kept your humor in tact, brushed off naysayers AND saved two puppies!!!! You remind us of theta song --- What a man, What a mighty, mighty, man!!!
Yeah, they have to be quarantined until a vet can look at them. That's just crazy that you got waylayed on the highway by someone dumping off a couple of cute little pups. That's just not right. They couldn't be any better hands, but still, pretty rude.
Look at the state of the cage you just picked the puppies up in. The puppies look so cute and will be better off without those losers who dumped them. I so admire you and all you do.
Damn dude your starting to get a little too attached to your camera when it paralyses your movements like that.. I’m worried with the way your driving... we need people like you!!! Stay safe!
