The best part of this is that it has just the right energy to be a smash remix. The song itself has WAY too much adrenaline and panic fit as a smash song, but you toned it down just the right amount to feel like a song to play in the background of a fight

This smash bros remix actually sounds so good! Im really happy to finally find one of these types of things that aren't just someone swapping the sound font of the original to a midi version, great work!

Peppino's stage is the Pizza Tower itself, with the hazard being that it can swap to the different levels that you enter in the game.

if peppino ever gets in smash, there should be specialized victory poses picked based on how well you did in the match

this only plays if you have pizza time remix selected or randomly picked as the main game theme, and you get a sudden death round

It’s just the right amount of different while still being the same song to seem like an official smash version. The smash versions of songs are never quite exactly the same, so this fits perfectly. A little flourish here, differently prioritized instruments there, and it’s all really well played. Good job!

I think if Pepino was included in smash, he should be given the Game & Watch treatment. Pepino’s style is hand-drawn. He needs to be a flat sprite.

While the tempo change was my favorite part of the song, this is probably one of the best smash bros fan adaptations I've heard. Would not be surprised to hear this in-game someday lol

Peppino ending up in smash would be him just panicking his way through fighting everyone with a huge speed based build. I imagine him to be kinda a mix between sonic and Little Mac where a lot of his moves are really fast and really heavy but he requires momentum to start carrying through to actually do them. So he needs headstart to actually start going. He should probably get the ability to conserve momentum when turning like in the game so he could run away before spinning around and slamming into his opponent. He should also probably have the ability to bounce off walls and keep his momentum as well. Like i said his entire moveset should probably revolve around a momentum mechanic so him conserving it should be top priority and many of his moves should be geared to keeping it or starting up his momentum quicker in smaller spaces

The use of violins, giving it a more upbeat energy, as well as more orchestral flourishes, does a good job of catching the smash ultimate energy. I appreciate the use of guitar to keep the rock identity at the forefront. Ironically, I feel like Nintendo has a bad habit of taking the identity out of tracks when they remix them these days. For example, infinite Azure vs it's remix. The remix fits the celebration vibe more, sure, but it also lost a lot of it's charm to do so. Another example is Cynthia's champion theme. The DS version of it had a more fierce looming sound to it with it's low tones as it builds tension with increasing beats into booming deep tones. This makes you feel like a powerful beast is coming for you. The remixes using the newer games sound fonts lose a lot of that impact and sounds more washed out.

Stage: Tower lobby (FD is tower enterance) Notes: hazards can be pizza face just showing up to wreak fighters or Peppino running by if peppino arnt bein used. Also Sometimes the bosses just show up to watch the fight.

Peppino's taunts should play the taunt sound (would also be kinda of cool if they had a special function like Luigi or Kirby's where taunting would give a couple i frames or something, though that might be broken idk lol)

They should make a Peppino character where hes like pyra/mythra where they switch and Peppino switches to Gustavo and Gustavo has brick with him and the four could be together in a taunt maybe

Personally, if Peppino were to get a smash entry. He could just have his final smash be him but absolutely pissed. Like the man can turn on a dime and uppercut the poor bastard who looked at him wrong into the kill zone.

Peppino would probabily have the running speed of toon link, but his side b would be a mach 3 sprint (comparable to sonics run speed) on ground and a comand grab that deals low damage in the air and forces a pile drive (even over a pit, can't cancel.) His up B would be same as mario's, but less height and instead of several small hits it would be one huge hit with a sweet spot at the very end of the ascension (or start of assension if grounded) Down special would summon a cheese blob to throw Final smash would be a super taunt into the pizza head ascension on targeted fighter (radius of supertaunt is the affect range)
