I don't know who will be reading this but after doing some napkin math, the theoretical yield of 5kg of antimatter detonating is somewhere along the ball park of 107 to 108 megatons. it would release roughly 450 petajoules of energy. Even in a surface blast, the majority of San Diego is gone, the fire ball alone would have radius over 8 km and any one within 40 miles of the blast would more than likely get 3rd degree burns. The only saving grace is that the main devastating effects of the blast, the presure wave, would disapate rather quickly, dropping under 20 psi slightly over the range of the fireball. Note this is all napkin math and not entirely reliable, the software I am using to model the damage is not only rather old, but I have the sneaking suspicion it's maxing out at 100 Mt, leaving another 8 Mt unaccounted for.

I was waiting for part 2. Now that its here, excellent work as usual. You can hear the individuality in characters, with their own thoughts and motivations. It all comes through clear in the voice you give them.
I don’t think 5 kg of antimatter would do all of that. That’s only about two hundred megatons, with no radioactive fallout. That said, it’s at least four orders of magnitude too big for a “erase all evidence at this location” contingency.
I just found out there are like 69 (nice) chapters of this and the series is still ongoing. In a way Im glad as this is good shit. But at the same time I was really hoping for some conclusion.

By far the best voice actor i ever heard, that fact that you can sing is not a surprise. Idk what you do for a living but, unless its cutting edge research, its a waste of a tremendous talent.
I really love your voicework. Is there any chance you could EQ-normalize some of the higher volume parts, though? I like to listen to audiobooks as I fall asleep, and most of the dialogue is perfectly low and soft for that... ...but then a radio turns on, or a firefight starts, and it's like suddenly being shouted at.
It gets better as time goes on, I have only really gotten good editing recently (praise be to Graygor) and I completely understand what you're talking about. Rest (heh) assured, it gets better, and I may have some ASMR specific stories coming up here soon to help you sleep even BETTER :D
I hope we see more of Adrian and co. I really liked them, and while I know you aren't doing the rest of salvage and I haven't even come close to finishing what is out of the Deathworlders yet ( at least that you have turned into a convenient audiobook ), It would still be cool to see more of them.
Salvage is up to chapter 100 but it just separated from the Jenkinsverse after a major event in the story... It's still good reading none the less. Minor spoiler: Adrian blows things up and kills stuff.

They're folded into the main Deathworlders sequence .Salvage continues but it veers totally away from the deathworlders story and then peters out as the author stopped writing it. You'll see you Xiu Chang, Yulna, Ayma and Regaari return in the main sequence soon enough.
@@worldofwarcraftman2 Zrens spoken of doing the battle just to wrap stuff up on that side. Adrian does have 2 cameos to my knowledge in the main sequence but theyre very short and in passing.
