Hey everyone, Deer Isle is a really cool map with a lot to offer. Not everyone has been able to find key cards in order to access the map so I thought I'd share a Twitch VOD from a recent stream (as a bonus video) where we explore the secrets of the Vault. Its an AMAZING location, I hope you enjoy!

Take this and make it dark 24/7. Make it so everyone spawns inside on the top level and it spawns keycards through the bunker. The objective is to escape the bunker.

Yeah I found them the night before. Got two so I could get out but with the server wipe there was no point

Where do you find keycards at? I’ve been wondering area 42 for 3 hours now! Lol. Can’t find one anywhere

They moved, now they are found at the oil rigs in the NW islands

They already have a prison in game. They should make a mission to open all the doors like resident evil and let zombies out/ fight them in a trapped environment

Well if it was like fallout the armor that you need fusion core but then you're have to go back to get more but might not be fair for other players.

I hope that DayZ goes in the right direction and fix’s the game on console and we have some of the things that PC has it would be so much more fun.

Sadly the console wont be able to keep up. They have to keep the console dayz able to play on old xbox 1s and ps4s. Until they release a new dayz for new console only they cannot update it much. You can get a good gaming pc setup for less than a new gaming console.

i really hope John McLane updates the textures on that vault among several other areas on the map... looks like that vault belongs on half life 2 rather than dayz

Area 42 (Island in the NE) and I know the ZERO Deer Isle Server has them spawning in on the oil rigs.

I think they changed the card from area 42 up the oil rigs in the NW of the map near Portland

The keycard basically makes this a whole lot of relatively unused content. It would probably be really cool for PvP but that seems impossibly unlikely to happen because of the keycard restriction.

On ZERO Deer Isle you can get the key cards at Area 42 and any of the oil rigs so I think they are easy enough to get. I love the idea of having a challenge to find high tier loot

If i may ask without riducule, why would it be a bad idea to swap to that bagpack. I was a new player but due to circumstances i had to sell my xbox so till i get a new one........someday....youtube is how i keep up to date
