Command missions, baby! If you have your grand company ranked up to the point where you have a squadron, you can blow through most dungeons up to level 60, especially if you have offensive Mastery on two Arcanists!
I genuinely thank you for this one, Ahri, I was quite honestly struggling trying to find alternative methods rather than spamming dungeons from lvl 70-90. Keep up the good work and appreciate T Mouse as well! :)
I've watched about a half-dozen guides on leveling, and they all say about the same thing. But this is the first time I've heard about the even/odd method. I'll have to keep that in mind!
A little addendum I would make to the P2W options for EXP boost is various Mogstation glams have a EXP boost applied to them (30%) to level 30. Ones I have commited to memory are the Angelic Attire Demonic Attire Fuga Attire and Far Eastern (Male and Female variants) Fuga Attire in particular is a 2piece set and doesnt have a headpiece attached. the amount is insignificant due to these being cut at level 30 but it's very noteworthy if you were planning to purchase the glams already.
The best levelling method is never mentioned in guides: Speedrun the highest available dungeon in a premade group. No queuetimes, extremly fast clears plus friends you make along the way. There are tons of reddits and discords to always have a fast group for every level range.

Also do your Wondrous Tales! And, if you like PVP, queue as your levelling job then once you're in, change to your favourite. The job you queue in as will get the exp :)
Can confirm: Earring for Dawntrail was given. Provides a 30% experience bonus up to level 90 and has scaling stat boosts as well. It is also available now for pre-orders.
re: Pre-order earrings. You will likely want the expansion if you are going to play, and I pre-ordered literally just 12 hours before the early access went live, so you don't haev to commit until you already know you want to keep playing through that expansion!
Up through 60 it's a good idea to do your grand company hunt logs as they become available so you can progress through those ranks if you haven't already, and you'll also unlock Adventurer Squadrons which are another great way to grind dungeons without waiting for queues to pop up to 60.
Squadrons are very efficient to run arr and hw dungeons with, especially when you get them all rank 5 offensive, which is not really long, they kinda get a rank for any of 3 strategies per dungeon. Just make sure to have arcanist and bard squad members, they aoe is just nuts. Can also wall to wall pull there. Takes a bit of practice to navigate them effectively with Engage/Disengage actions, and also better to Engage every single mob you are pulling, because they are dumb and tank may just keep attacking the one you told them to engage and not the rest.
Fun fact: the arcanist also has a skill that got removed. And they are especially broken in hw dungeons because you can just send them off and make huge pulls without the tank dying
Oh yeah, they are actively more time efficient than potd and trusts as dps, and in certain cases, they might be actively faster than a regular party. 50-60 isn’t that bad if you have them. Another note for trusts is that they are designed to make dungeons take a specific amount of time for some reason, so they will actively deal less if you deal more damage and vice versa. This means you can stand there afk while they get much stronger and kill the mobs while you watch Netflix or something, you just need to occasionally pull a pack for them and do boss mechs. If you have to use trusts for some reason, thats probably the best way to do so.
I would also suggest adding in the sticker book as a weekly thing. They aren't overly hard and will give you about half a level. You can complete most of it in about 2 hours if you're alone.

Unsure if this was typed, but you can also use the Hunt Boards. They give okay EXP, with a bonus of getting the corresponding seals, which can be used to get aetherite tickets. Can use this on your even levels.
@@Ahrieffect daily hunt marks are incredibly slept on I think. Especially the shb and ew hunts. The endwalker hunts specifically give just a bit less if not equal to the amount of exp you get from tribals per day! I have noticed the stormblood ones give around 30-35k exp per mark completed, and haven't been able to check the shb numbers properly as I've been focusing mostly on ew stuff, but ew is easily 200k+ experience per mark (at 15 marks a day). It's definitely a longer amount of time than the tribals are, but it can take you easily from 82-83, for example, in less than an hour (combined with ew combat tribe)
if curious about "even levels", if your not doing rouletes and just running dungeons, doing a level 81 dungeons will get you to 82 faster from 81 than it would from 82 to 83.
I would like to make a correction to the Road to 80 buff. It is not actually a 100% EXP bonus. It is a 2X multiplier that is calculated last. So with it, if you stack your EXP bonuses right you can be getting 600%+ EXP Tho thats rare. While I was lvling alt jobs I was regularly getting 400 to 500% EXP after both the armory and rested.
I would suggest doing the clan hunts in between while waiting for a dungeon. Quick kills during down time that gives rewards that can be used for mounts, minions aetherite tickets and other supplies.
Have a khloe book saved from the prior week already complete, take the pixie and arksadora tribal quest the day prior as well Do 6 pixie quests at level 80, spam bozja unil 88.5, turn in khloe book #1 and #2, then do your arksadora quests to 90! That's what I'm doing
It might be worth delaying levelling most of your classes until 7.25 or 7.35 when the field zones drops, because there is a pretty good chance that it will give massive amounts of exp like the bozja zones.

when i was 10-13 I played runescape. (OSRS now) and I used to mine coal and sell it to this girl who said she was old enough to be my grandma. she helped me a lot. in game and emotional. idk why but you remind me of her.
My friends think I'm crazy for thinking this way, but I also miss leveling. I love playing this game and love having a clear thing to do in order to keep playing.
Let me tell you about this thing called alts. I know people say you don't need alts in FF - and you don't, but that doesn't mean they're not done at all. And in fact, there are some advantages to having an alt (or 4).

A) UI mod? I might be blind lol and b) I think it's usually streamers who have gotten banned in the past..I'm sure you can still make videos, just be cautious
Question for anyone, what is the best leveling method if you want to experience Dawntrial's story as one of the new jobs on day 1, or is that even possible? I know they are going to be 10 levels below the level cap.
Trial roulettes are pretty great tbh. Normal raids are crap XP. The thing with trials is they are like 5 minutes for some and it's a solid amount of XP. I'd say they are _always_ worth doing. MSQ gives a crapload of XP but it can be so long and is so boring. Nothing like listening to Gaius van Talksalot for 10 minutes straight.
ppl talk about it is the armory bonus icon hidding only able once that first max main class i have blackmage at 61 didnt seem much faster when i lvling i diff jobs to me anyways
Some other "pay to win" options are that quite a number of the outfits on the cash shop will give characters an exp bonus [usually up to level 30], and I'm pretty sure they work for all jobs not just battle jobs. You'll know the glam does this if it says on the page, "Wearing multiple pieces of this set grants a stat bonus for jobs and classes under a certain level," and it should show on the piece if you hover over it. So if you want a bit of extra boost at lower levels and like one of the outfits anyway it might be worth the investment to get started. I distinctly remember feeling bad when I queued for leveling roulette and had to play warrior in tam tara deepcroft with my level 1 High Summoner Attire glamed with the Cloud outfit but they have a bit of stats and that went ok so it's probably fine. 😅😂
How do you still have road to 80 even after having a class at 90? I lost road to 80 when my first class hit 80, and it doesn't apply when I swap job either, I am on OCE and all my friends with characters here have it on my server too
hmmm, I still have it on my dynamis character at 90 From what i understood, there was a timer that starts once you hit max, but only if your server is no longer prefered. Mayhap that isn't the case
@@Ahrieffect The Road to 80 Buff has a 90 Days Time Limit. So if you create your Char and doesnt play it and login after 89 Days, you got just One Day with the Buff. That would mean that you should take full advantage of that buff or ignore it entirely. EDIT: It also applies to Gatherer/Crafter which is Huge and the best part about it.
the fastest way to level from 1-15 or rather 1-25 is by being boosted by a friend. The same way you would level a blue mage. Never actualy seen someone mention it, as everyone says hunting logs is the best, maybe its just too niche, but wanted to point it out still.

Maybe I'm a little confused here. how can the Palace of the Dead be used to level if from what I have read from Reddit the exp does not carry over to the outside?
@@IvoryTaureanI know this is old, but you do get good XP up to level 50. What they are referring to is that in Palace you start at level 1 and level inside the dungeon as well. This is totally separate from your character outside of Palace, which you still get xp for.
Stupid question 😫 When u say “do your roulette’s on even”, are u referring to doing the 1 daily exp bonus roulettes for each roulette or like spamming one of the roulettes even after completely the daily exp bonus run?
I kinda skipped ahead but I'd avoid using the word support for any casual content as people who don't raid probably won't know what a support is or assume supports are healers. even if you mention it once or twice, continueing to use this jargon might confuse people. btw if newbies are looking at the comment section looking to figure out what supports are, supports = Healers or Tanks. kinda a dumb name to call a tank but it is what it is.
Im a bit confused. Why even suggest roulettes at all? From my experience going straight fornthe highest level dungeo you can que awards the most experience with the exception of post game dungeons at levles 50, 60, 70, and 80 soon to include 90 when DT drops. While queing in a roulette for leveling seems to attempt to award you exp equivalent to your level it seems to miss the mark compared to a dungeon at or near your level.
Zadnor and bozja felt way too slow for me. Idk if i just was doing the content wrong or if there are other variables i wasnt aware of. I find for dps at least its most consistent when using the trust or duty support system.
@@raventhorX Boz/zadnor are bonkers, give it a try again you'll see. Roulettes are better time-wise since they scale to your current level, so a 10 minute sastasha is going to give you a fat exp drop even compared to a 20 minute tower of babil at lvl 84
i love how every dude these days identifys as a hot female :D my fav strat is the lvl50 msq story raid thing thats not a raid anymore you can only do it once per day or if u wait two times if u do it right before the reset and than once after and it is like 3/4 lvl or somehting (maybe it was even like 1.5 lvls with all the exp/twink stuff & rested ? dont remember) if u do it as a daylie. these take like 30+min or somehting but 1/2 of that is cutscenes and u can go afk and prep lunch / eat / vacuum your room etc. and even when u have to play its soo crazy easy u can watch netflix or youtube or whatever on a scnd monitor while doing it. when i was lvling my pala i would just do it once everyday or if i didnt play i did it twice the next day, while cooking/eating/cleaning and stuff u can become very efficient doing that :3 (btw "only 4 hours a day" is still 120 hours a month thats still alot ^^)
Main Story Roulette is a huge Bonus. With my Maximum 566% Multiplier for Exp i got 4,8 Million EXP for one Run on lvl 79 (which is nuts, 9/10 of the level)
@@zordiark9673 ah ok i somehow remember getting 1.2-1.5lvls even sometimes with an alt and lvl gear, maybe its less because u were almost 80 ? maybe i just remember it wrong :3 i mean they changed it too a 4 man "raid" before it was a real raid and maybe gave more exp ? but anways its good exp for sure : )
If I only had a limited time to play each day and I spent it doing MSQ roulette and Frontline, I would probably unsub within a week or two. It’s worth something slower to not be miserable
Everyone's different! Whatever floats your boat. The video is about fastest/efficiency, so each individual's preferences for what they find fun aren't a concern for the objective. You are the best judge of how to spend your own time! But when things are concerning speed or correctness, subjectivity is out the window ya feel?
I’m surprised no mention of Squadrons or Duty Support. Squadrons are highly overpowered and you can roll through dungeons up to 50 without even needing to really do much, due to the strategic buttons in forcing your squadron ahead of you and fighting without you. Duty support does require you fight with your team but even then the dungeons gear you up so that eventually you can take on multiple groups at the same time. One benefit of doing squadrons and duty support are the gears you get which can be exchanged for seals or donated to expand the Doman Enclave. These have unique rewards associated with them as well.
The way he keeps changing the way he pronounces Arkasodara is both hilarious asf and mildly infuriating for someone like me who can't accept anything but the right way to pronounce it. It's killing me 😭
not exactly, you are going to be buying Dawn Trail anyway most likely so as long as you buy it before it comes out aka preorder it you get the earrings. If you dont plan on buying dawntrail then yeah you could consider it pay to win.
Firstly, the real video starts at 15:08. Everything before that felt just as fillers: "Make sure your food, fc actions, exp jewelry is on" etc. This part could've been at least 50% shorter. Secondly, deep dungeons are pretty much dead on some DCs, and queue times (even for the floors 51-60 of PotD) will be longer than queueing for the highest level dungeon available as a DPS. Even if it's not an issue, grinding PotD or HoH again and again and again is a tedious experience and I don't wish anyone to even try this brainrot. And the last, but not the least: if you have a high level job friend, no need to grind boring hunting log or fates until level 16. Just go to Outer La Noscea and tag some cobolds up north near the cave entrance. Just make sure your buddy is not in the same party with you and he kills them after you hit them once. This is the best with some shield healer to protect you from getting instakilled, but everything else works too. 5 minutes and you are lvl 20+ ready to start leveling roulette or even Halatali. Also if he's willing to be your pocket tank or healer, you can get the green/blue queue pass and shorten your dps waiting time by a lot.

I personally opt to do it in endwalker zones, but there's an indefinite amount of options

I just don't really like the approach of overwhelming a potential new player watching it with so many unnecessary details. Everyone's experience is different, but I brought and mentored more than a dozen of players from 1 to 90 in this game, so I know a little bit about how easy it is to make a mess in their brain when not keeping it simple. Especially after you made it simple yourself in the summary almost without dropping anything important from the first 15 minutes. This part is subjective, of course. Regarding the deep dungeons, when I mentioned the content is dead on certain data centers, I meant it. It doesn't really matter when you queue up for PotD on Chaos. Queues for 51-60 are terrible even during the prime time, same with HoH. So it's not worth trying as a DPS over the classic route: a few most rewarding roulettes a day, and then highest available level dungeon spam until you feel it's enough for today. I also preferred to powerlevel in EW zones while all of my jobs were still not at the level cap, but not everyone has access to them. Especially fellas on the free trial that just wanted to take another job to not lose out on XP after reaching a certain point where "Road to 80" buff for the preferred/new server (which is selected by default when you make a character) gives so much of it they hit their level cap (70) while still being in ARR post-patches. And you'll be surprised to know how common this is. Why am I so confident this is a thing? I frequent at my local language discord server's help channel, where players of all sorts ask their questions looking for advice from the ones that haven't touched grass for years just like me. So, this is pretty much a detailed explanation of my takes from the original comment, where, I guess, I was misunderstood. Good luck with the channel. One more content creator is always good.
