Do you really expect people to make a new tier list every time a new character comes out? when a character comes out they will just say where he belongs in the tier list they are not gonna make a new tier list.

Guile being weak to JP is a myth. That's easily one of the matchups I have the most trouble with as JP. Something about Guile's forward moving normals makes him very difficult to deal with and you have no real answer for perfect booms in the midrange.

Replace Luke with juri Luke is only strong when a good player is using him overall I think he is right next to deejay

Guile's best poke (down MK) is not drive-rush cancellable which is why I think he is worse than Ken and Luke at rushing down. He has to advance slowly compared to Ken and Luke who can close the gap very quickly.

@@kennellfrederick4367 I think it is the opposite. JP feels beatable and Ken is the monster. OD Amnesia is punishable. Ken has even more options than JP does. His drive rush+heavy punch is cheese. Even in burnout he is still dangerous. Ken is the best character in the game.

If you are using the steam family share, unfortunately, DLC doesn't get shared between accounts. You'd have to buy the character pass as well. The world tour mission does not unlock A.K.I as a playable character, only as an intractable character in World Tour

Where was the downplay. They both unanimously decided Ken was second best with no contest, amd the reasoning is fair. OD Amnesia does go against rules all characters outside of JP had to follow, while still having really good tools like Ken.

Admitting a character is perfect, putting him in second place and saying the only thing holding him back is Jp having a dumb mechanic, is now somehow considered "Downplaying" You were probably watching the video with no audio.

They need more than that - there shouldn't even be tiers at all - just put everyone on the same tier, wherever that is.

@kennellfrederick4367 it's impossible to balance the game that well. Just due to inherit things with character design. For example the amount of corner carry a certain move has or if a character gets out of the corner more easily. But you definitely can make it better. No game will ever be a one tier game.

JP is broken where as Ken is over powered.

Say guile loses 53% in his worst matchup, with an avg of 52% wr in all his other matchups, and J.P. loses 54% in his worst two matchups, but wins 60% against literally anybody else

Guile's weakness is just very common. And actually a pretty bad matchup too

@@absontchica6298worst matchup =\= unwinnable. Snake Eyez probably has the best Gief in the world but he wasn’t facing the best JP or the 20th best JP since they’re all in Asia. And don’t forget Reynald beat Snake in a ft3 to put him losers to begin with. Snake just adapted which makes him a ridiculously strong player, not Gief being a good character.

Because he is not. Ken is S+ tier. JP is Top 3 for sure, but Ken has everything. Amnesia is a Command Parry, it will never be better than a DP.

It's because of the combos he gets off it but also in desperate situations he can use amnesia and use the invincibility frames of lvl 1/3 supers after. Because amnesia works against throws he also gets to basically use it in place of traditional throw techs.

Ken players will never admit Ken is as good as JP, they're allergic to that

@@Crime_Arc The day Ken breaks the game he can be in the same tier as JP. You can say whatever you want, but Ken still needs to play the game, his only "neutral skip" tool can easily be jabbed out, so he needs to earn a combo starter. Once Ken gets in, yes, he deals insane damage and has amazing corner carry, but he needs to win neutral first. JP is just BS, he has everything + OD amnesia, which is even better than OD DP. And btw, I'm not even a Ken main, I'm literally just being objective, if you don't think JP is broken above all else, it's because you probably never faced a really good JP, or you play him yourself and think you earned the rank you're at.

He's literally the only character in the game with that insane advantage playing normal. Just because someone wins a tourney with a low-tier character doesn't mean the character is now good. Sometimes talented pros can choose a character and if they are fortunate to avoid certain matchups & other pros they can win. It's not like she's winning EVO.
