I've only been looking at some videogame iceberg videos and thought why no one has ever made one about the TY games. Ha, what a coincidence! I am glad that someone finally made one. Really happy to see that the community is small but still alive. The games, especially the 2nd one have been really important for my childhood as well. I could never play the 3rd one until I wated 13 years to have it released on steam, so the excitement is still very big. It's actually been a shame that the 2D game did get all that hate. The soundtrack was fire and I honestly love the art style, Steve's art still inspires me to this day. Also it would just been amazing to have a new 3D platformer game. Just imagine what it will look like with new models and high quality textures! Plus there is way more memory to experient around with ideas and customizable content. There's actually been a thing I've always wondered mysellf, like how are they supposed to know what human skulls look like if there are mainly just anthro animals living in this world? (Speaking of Sly's belt, the Deadlyrang, and other objects you can find on the journey through the worlds) which got me thinking that they probably got humans go extinct and therefore have thylacines and the other extinct species live. This actually could explain a few things.

I'm really one of those people in minority to say that TY 3 was actually my favorite of the 4 games. I adored the design of the gauntlet TY wore, overal the whole style in the 3rd game was awesome. It had this edginess, mysterious and dark tone the previous games didn't have. The Quinkan foes were awesome....and especially the hack n' slash mechanics with boomerangs. And oh man, the music....the OST for this game, love it so much. (All games had great music, but 3rd had a lot more of a atmospheric, dreamy tone that I could listen to and chill) All n' al really cool to find a TY iceberg video! Really detailed. The franchise deserves all the attention it can get. so much love and effort is poured into these games, and Steve is one of my greatest inspirations of all time.
One thing I've noticed in Ty the Tasmanian tiger is how all the koalas have two thumbs which is a feature that real koalas have it's that little attention to detail that you've got to appreciate from Krome
@@AmusingLuisI found a theory about Ty the Tasmanian tiger and warrior cats where Ty the Tasmanian tiger takes place during a nuclear war that takes place after warrior cats where a bomb was dropped and almost all the animals mutated becoming bipedal except for some animals that’s why the economy is bust and tigerstar isn’t involved because he died of malnutrition and boss Cass replaced him
Really loved this video, so much stuff I didn't know about the series here and I grew up with the first two TY games (never played 3 or 4 before). But anyway I would love to see you cover more ty content in the future.
@@AmusingLuis Lore videos would be really cool, maybe a video about what we would want see in a possible Ty 5. But I don't want to pressure you or anything like that. Whatever type of content you want to do, is fine by me.
@@AmusingLuis well there's the fact that there are dinosaurs still in the game after the time travel concept was abandoned..and the entire area of the Never Never is bizzarely out of place compared to the rest of the game, with all the dinosaur stuff going on there.
Coming to this vid late watching this after I put in my pre-order @ the ty patreon store, not keeping hopes tooo high but excited for whatever announcement of a new game we get in September. Glad someone uploaded boomerang blast, thought I was going to have to try to get my iphone 4 to bootup lmao.

20:40 Yeah, I'm one of the select few who have played Blade Kitten and its.... not even finished. It has about 7 or 8 levels and some brutal achievements like going through a whole level without taking damage. In a game where most levels can take up to 10 minutes or more to finish. And it ends on a cliffhanger as if setting up for a part 2. But let's be real, it'll never happen XD
