What interest me is that so far they kept 8th doctor role in this very secret (I presume he the next one in the series and since Paul names is not credited on any of the audios like the other doctors have so far which makes me think he is the one that was injured before the degeneration happened, and also since we hear 7 voice, but I could be wrong. Have to wait and find out.
It will be interesting to see his role in this series. He will either feature in Union, which releases next month, or The Final Act, which releases next November, or both, since those are the ones we don't know the cast of. We know it has to either be the 8th doctor or the war doctor who was injured due to this taking place during the time war, but like you said, we will have to wait to find out for sure.
It's was one of the possible ideas considered for the 5 Doctor's in its early development but was discarded by the production team because of the previous Doctor's having aged considerably since their first appearance in the show.
So it seems the Doctor started out as 7, became 6 then 5, somehow skipped all the way down to 1, then progressed towards 2 then 3 before stabilising as 4. The first 3 Doctors were hard to recognise due to not being their original actors.
Yes, personally, I found it easy to recognise the first three doctors, but I have listened to at least one full box set with each of those actors, so I'm used to how they sound
Awesome Tom Baker Came back for this it's Great that he is doing Big Finish Audios but I Just wish The BBC could Find Someway to get him back to the Series.
Ok, this is great and all, but can we get the story where the doctor has his timeline messed up so badly that it becomes in continuity with the old comics with Jillian and John with the doctor being from the 50th century earth and the companion trying to fix things with a cliffhanger that’s the villain trying again and the doctor is somehow a guy played by the worst actor ever who lives in a split level and pretended to be a doctor for money who has the cops after him while the companion goes after the villain, that would be a “great story”.
