I know, I want one but none of the growers sell them around here 🙈. I’ve been looking for ages.

@@OrchidsFynbos There are several shops in Germany that sell seeds apparently. If you're interested, I could try to send you some

What nutrisi for blooming eulophias, i had eulophia orchid 4 years ago but not yet flowers

Hi Budi, they flower between late spring to early fall/autumn here in the wild. I have never had one in my collection, I’ve actually been looking for a local nursery that sells them. They are from the summer rainfall areas and have a predominantly drier winter. So I would try and treat them similarly to dendrobiums but give them a lot of light as they can take full sun, just make sure to transition them properly if you currently have them in lower light conditions. Hope all goes well and keep me updated on the progress 😊🙏🏻

@@OrchidsFynbos Tank you for information about eulophia petersii 🌺👍

This is actually Eulophia leachii, the sister species of E. petersii

Sorry, I must disagree. The video was taken at the Kirstenbosch botanical gardens and would have been verified by their botanists. The leaves were also succulent and the spurs of the flowers are less incurved than E. leachii.

@@OrchidsFynbos I suggest that you look up pictures of Eulophia leachii, examine the shape of the lip, which is notably different, and look for the lip markings. The leaves are also different; they are relatively straight and wide in E. petersii, asd much narrower and falcate in E. leachii. Botanist are not infallible, and would be the first to say so.
