That would destroy this trash game. Storage space is such a joke that every farmer has overloaded storage. A common storage pool would destroy that. Players could not over load storage and thus that would be another reason the game would become unplayable. Watch-out what you ask for
As a person that likes to farm a lot and hold on to items....I am happy with the way item storage is currently working. The only thing that might be nice, is something like a global search function, but at the same time. That is kind of asking a lot out of them and the game.
@@kyle4449 You agree to not have industrial scale farmers to buy cool down mats, matrix, trophies, etc from. As a result, you agree to destroy cheat runners' and trophy mat farmers' ability to sell players like me trophy matts. If I went back in game now, I would have 6 or more overloaded storages ranging from 20,000 to 60,000 weight. Like I said: watch out for what you ask for, because it will destroy the whole game... there would be nothing left for the lazy OPR and exhibition farmers to buy. What do I know, I only have 3 max level toons in everything, and all of those toons have ridiculously overloaded storage.
What is the point of Armoring and Weaponsmithing if they can't make max item level gear? That's a lot of effort to level those skills for them to be useless endgame.
@@propersod2390 Only with one perk locked though, extremely low chance for anything BiS. You used to be able to put your crafting level, gear and trophies toward actually useful 2-perk crafts and sell your weekly inductor for 700 gear. 725 will be the mentioned useless schematics with 2 random perks and every player will have to do their gorgon inductor crafts themselves which doesn't require any levels, gear or trophies.
It takes over 5 million pieces of material to make one 5 pc set of plate armor. If everything was easy to gather it wouldn't be so bad but competing with gold farmers and bots for the rare nodes makes it an oppressive amount for such a miniscule payoff.
Gears you up so you can survive the raid. Gives more incentive to do end game content than just farming materials to make the best gear. I don’t think the craftable gear will be useless as it will probably be near the level of the highest gear
Aimbot in PVP means the game is a no-go. Might as well pick a much better MMO that has far more end-game, if you are cool with target-locking. NW was special because PVP was action-combat with aim/skillshots. That being removed means NW made itself comparable to every other tab-target mmo out there and there are many that has more content and better development than the failures of NW.
This game needs a loot overhaul like diablo 4 did with loot reborn. Otherwise im not coming back. The loot tables suck, lack of gear sets or unique perks that are not the same as every other gear drop. Higher stats bonus when lvled to max gear score. Not doing 2 steps forward 1 step back mentally with stuff like gems. Thats what this update should have been. Chance to completely overhaul the way they do loot and gear.
Everything needs to be overhauled, like the war, gold distribution, territory control, market, taxes and end game. AGS spent their time adding microtransactions, paid seasons and expansions, along with working on console development for years.
@@gamezonereactions8388 it was just one single year. The other push was the community pushing the devs to bring out the game a year EARLY on ! so get your facts straight please. So basicly only who to blame is the community for pushing so hard on the devs for a completely new game. Unlike the 'new' throne and liberty wich has been in development for 10+years. HUGE DIFFERENCE.
Yeah, translation: you will play the game exactly like the devs want. If players do not like micro-managing play style and endless grinding, then don't play new world or any other AGS game. I look forward to them going splat, like Ubisoft.
Everyone in the comments with disagreements should post in feedback forums so they can consider some of the players concerns. I get moving GS level up but crafting potential should always go up with it as well similar to how it has been supplemented to craft 700GS gear. Besides that I've been enjoying my return to the game, I just hope that they will truly listen to player feedback during the release and going forward. I think it would lead to good things for the game if they do.
There is no feedback forum. They got rid of the forum more than a year ago because they dont care what we say. They put up a discord and ban people for voicing their concern in it. Literally. I know multiple people who tried to be helpful and got banned for "negativity" because they mentioned the downsides and issues with certain mechanics.
They speak in code, that they are going to wait and see what players ask for to build their roadmap. Is code for they are really going to wait and see if the release goes well before deciding to do a roadmap or put the game in maintenance mode
So 90% of the game is gonna give dead gear? Named items are dead again, Crafting is completely useless, and everything in between is gonna give shit loot. Yeah im not coming back.
Making named items not be able to be maxed is horrible change, should be some form of grind to upgrade them or at least use raid or pvp zone materials. Makes farming for any of them useless otherwise which was one of my personal favorite things to do.
Yeah, also felt like this update was a good opportunity to bring the 625 gear to 700 (at least)... It clutters the drop pool with stuff no one uses anymore :(
It was literally the one thing that set the game apart. It's the reason people put up with all the other horrendous BS Amazon put players through. I've never in my life seen a game with so much wasted potential.
The sentiment that PvP is essentially extinct due to the dwindling player count is prevalent, suggesting that any change would be beneficial. The community has voiced its opinion and the decision has been made: aim assist will be implemented in the game. It's time to adapt or be left behind.
Gods dammit I wish they would stop fucking over PC players. I've been playing solid since the beginning and I'm getting tired of it. I don't want to find another MMO or game to play, but if they put enough quit moments in front of me, one will eventually take me away from the game.
Farming named items was so much fun and there are tons of items for so many different builds... Not allowing them to be max level is a disservice to the players and a large interactive part of the game to hang out with others and farm. I met a lot of great people just hanging at a monster spawn farming those items, that then led to running expeditions together, joining companies, doing PVP. It opens the door for so much more to play with others. Now it's just dead items that there's no real point in wasting your time farming. So sad.
Im not even a pvp person but it crazy the game has been out 3 years and you still only have the og opr map. What is the explanation for that one? Imagine if any other online pvp game had one map for 3 years. Crazy lol
PC players are not gonna come back to this game. They’re totally trashing the combat which was one of the only fun things left, completely nullifying the work anyone did with their gear over the past year while waiting for content, and don’t really have anything new for players to return to in the first place. What a complete joke of a game
Well, at least the ones that followed some player's advice will have 1000+ of each cool down mat. Of course, all of that is worthless, because artifacts and magic coconuts are the only thing that matters. Cannot really put a price on 2000 hours of grid for that last year. All of that grindy fun
so they've crapped on crafting YET AGAIN after taking two years to make it a decent way to create endgame equipment without having to spend hundreds of thousands in gold and mats. get ready to pay close to gold cap for single pieces again. thatll be sooo fun
- Make Open World/old content drop gear up to 720, a new raid and PVP drop 725. Leave the actual difference in power only a few %, so the skill can overcome the stat difference. This way, BiS comes from the most recent content, but the rest of the game also offers competitive rewards. - Levelling is the best, most engaging part of the game. And they wish to reduce the time it takes to reach max level... Bloody hell. This invalidates SO MUCH CONTENT as the open world isn't scaled, and most players will get quickly bored with one-hosting enemies of low levels. Seriously, sometimes feels like AGS is run by clowns who have no idea how MMO games work or how to keep players engaged.
Console players get the expack free as part of their box purchase... PC players don't and have to buy it in order to play that content. Why not give it to all for free and just chuck those who have bought it some cash shop credits? Seems self defeating to create a barrier to entry for returning PC players. I am probably gonna choose T&L just because of this one fact.
Considering the wealth some players have (like myself) it won’t be too hard to find loopholes to get 725 BIS pretty quickly. This concerns me though because the gear gap with an additional 40 attribute points is going to be huge in cross-server game modes. I’m fine with it being grindy or challenging, but the way they went about gatekeeping wallet rmt warriors, and players with vast wealth or influence are going to have an overwhelming advantage. They should make the raid hard but farmable and bring back gambling crafts with a reasonable entry point per crafted piece of gear.
I wish they’d make event rewards more interesting and also have a cooler concept for them. I mentioned this in another video but adventure quest used to do vampires vs Lycans and you would fight over an hour or day or whatever and get cool rewards and higher drop percentages if your side won
Am I correct that you can get 1 725 piece a week from the raid and island? And it’s not even guaranteed perks? Or you have to grind these 2 pieces of content over and over til you get all your 725. Either one of these sounds terrible. Can you tell me which misery awaits me 😂
You can get more than 1 but it's huge rng plus the perks are rng as well. You can craft 1-2 guaranteed pieces, but they're either so resource-intense that most players can't even affort to do that weekly or they're artifacts.
4.25 problem is there is no new content GS 725 and little bit more armor is not new content, why even get rid od BiS 700GS gear to get non bis 700+ gear that doesnt make no sense.
@@smokedoggxxl there is a video where a guy blindfolded beats and acher, dude why do you defend that shit target lock so much, the game has almos 3 years combat was one of the only thing that the game excel, no one that played since day 1 would aprove that target lock
@@MorcegoYarI believe that the entire situation with the blindfold was orchestrated. My preference for tab targeting stems from the enjoyment it brings me. Also, at 41, my hand-eye coordination isn't as sharp as a 16-year-old's, and my reaction time is slower. Tab targeting helps level the playing field somewhat. While younger players may still have an edge, it won't be as overwhelming.
@@smokedoggxxl i am 39, soh age is not an excuse, there are counteless mmorpg tab target, T&L just started and the only reason i dont think i want to play it, is bcz is tab target, NW is unic bcz of its combat, if you want tab target all others mmorpg is tab target, why kill the only remaining good combat system there is in the marquet now a days
@@MorcegoYar I'll stick with New World as I prefer its current/permanent combat style in Aeternum-it's more my pace. Thanks for the suggestions, though.
? you need 700 gear still to get the 725. you need crafting level to craft 725 with a material and blueprint if your unlucky with drops. Like its not a big deal people still need to make or buy 700 gear

I'm a beta tester and i can agree the game feel way smoother. I have encoutered only one bug and not a little one. I had to restart my game to fix it and it was a camera bug when talking to npc and opening a menu at the same time. So now they have the new code i think the only thing they will focus on is to fix bug and add more content so New world is gonna come around. The pvp island will change a lot the meta. Stagger change will destroy the new meta. Aim lock need to go for pvp but it's not very effective at high distance. Personnaly i still think they should make the musket trap unkillabled or undodgeable. I hope i will have the opportunity to change the apparence of my actual character since they change the character menu. I wish for invasion in the city and not in the fort. I wish for a compagny Guild building. I wish for a custom fort by region so each war feel different with different strategies. I wish for a new weapon lightning whip.
The biggest win they could give PVP players is a new OPR map. They keep saying theyre listening to the player base yet this ome request for several years has been ignored. Theyve neutered crafting by not allowing crafted items to be upgraded. They keep missing key points that end up frustrating a huge portion of their player base. Last point, aimbot will ruin the pvp experience so all of their pvp content they 'plan' on releasing will be worthless. Fingers crossed they can see the light before its too late.
@@theUnconventionalGamer this is honestly FAR FAR WORSE than the aimlock at this point. This was one of the best game mechanics imo. Wtf happens to expedition loot now? Is it fucking useless?
Funny thing: lots of players were buying inductors and seals, because they thought that would be a way to upgrade in the future. No upgrades. hundreds or thousand hours those fools put in.... totally worthless now. Game is going to be super duper dead now. Just like I told people last year: never ever try to anticipate what the devs will do, because it will always be the worst choice.
They're doing 5h1t that should have been there at launch for PC players. Do they want a thanks for making their game run smoother or something? Please....
When will they actually make ECR fun and engaging? Me and my friends (mostly my wife), have been breeding monkeys by killing Purutu 10x amount of times to then leave the monkey island full of elite mini bosses for ECR runners to have a go at. Most of them thought this was just pure fun and out of the ordinary, (because ECR is f*cking boring). Others threatened us with mass reports because we "ruined" their daily ECR run. Taking people out of their bubble was the most fun we've had for quite a while, and the most fun other players have had. Do AGS think that people ENJOY ECR? People do it for Scarabs and Gear. How haven't AGS implemented a scaling system to elite mobs in ECRs yet? Trib for example is just a very open area with Elite chest scattered everywhere. It's boring.. !
Every year we get less and less content atleast in the last 2 years we got new weapons but now... barely any content i already can tell this initial hype will not last long and ppl will quickly figure out what the game can truly offer, and how long you have to w8 between updates IF the promised content arrives in time and its not buggy mess.
They fumbled the soul trials. The idea was to adapt those soul trials to be repeatble as groups content, like the arena trials. Lot of cool and unique bosses here that would be fun to do. That way we could have more endgame content, more rewards and such. Really needed with the stupid time gated raid
I can't identify any changes AGS has implemented that I don't view as a net positive for the game. They are doing an excellent job and merit some positive recognition. Unfortunately, people are more inclined to express their opinions when they hold negative views.
Combat changes since s5 have been terrible from a technical aspect. Collision effects inputs, etc. The game went from being one of my favorites of all time to uninstalled.
Hey! Base game is $30 on steam (I think its on sale for $20 right now). This will get you up to LV 60 which is about 40 hours of gameplay depending on how you play. The expansion is $30 and this gets you access to the rest of the game including all new content. You can wait to buy expansion to see if you think it's worth it. Only bad thing with waiting in my opinion is that you would miss out on a mount at ~lv25 which helps substantially with getting around the map easier. Total cost is not more than $60 USD.
They're also cutting the time to get to max by over half? Dude what? That's literally the part of the game so many people really enjoyed. In my (non-NW) guild, we've got like a dozen folks that are considering coming back because they enjoy the pre-cap experience but hated the endgame. Actually mindboggling to have people speed past the best part of the game.
where is the aim-assist(bot) statement? this and the stagger will destroy fluid gameplay. imagin playing 50 v 50 with this stagger... path of destiny and 20 people cannot dodge haha or playing 1 vs X will be almost impossible to outplay. they need advice from veteran players, cuz it seems they dont know much about pvp... this change is completly out of touch and the grit passive nerf also... on top we have a big firestaff meta since a long time - where is the nerf so many ppl waiting for?
I started in Beta but stopped playing last week. As a solo PvE player with maxxed crafting, I don't see any reason to come back. It was fun while it lasted.
@@Smayky That is completely beside the point... My PVP opponent has it, and even his melee attacks will track, even if I move and dodge and try to be unpredictable. It ruins PVP.
Re: "mandatory" group content - TBH, I think this is one thing that MMOs SHOULD push. Making most of the game solo as the best route, or the main preferred route for convenience, is just making an MMO less an MMO. Yeah, people drop off when they are faced with the need to group.....because they are in the wrong game. If you're playing an MMO but quit as soon as you need to cooperate with other players, you're just in the wrong genre. I know folks are gonna come after me about different "playstyles" and "gatekeeping" and whatever, or how some folks enjoy the gameplay of soloing in MMOs because they can't find a single player game that has the same feel. I get it. I don't always want to group in a MMO. But the fact that they are *designing* the game around whatever keeps some metric up leads me to believe they don't actually have a vision for the game, it's just about keeping players, whether it's the right game for them or not....and that only leads to the most watered-down, lifeless, bland MMOs that we see today. Very few companies seem to have a vision for their game anymore. It's just we'll do whatever most players want. And players are selfish and often don't want what's best for the game, just for themselves.
Forcing people to do the hardest content for the best gear is a massive W, finally. Now shitty player Timmy doesn't have bis because he crafted or bought it. EARN IT just like every other SUCCESSFUL mmo
Cant wait for Ps5 relese this game is sooo cool. Even if the game will be an RPG with multiplayer in the future, it doesn't matter, I want to play it if only because the world, game mechanics and story.
If there is ONE game that I simply wish to die... it's this one. I never felt more betrayed and played out like guys behind this woke agenda product...
2:53 "Planing to push towards pvp more" They really want to do more for PvP Players, after killing pvp through the aimlock implementation? AGS Devs lost it completely at this Point
"Aimlock" M+KB will have a slight advantage since the lock is on body. Not the head. They are finetuning this further. Lets see before crying about everyhting.
They'll tell the console players the same wishful thinking stories until Lord of the Rings is out. Just like the long lived broken systems, end game, war, gold distribution, that will never be fixed. It's more like what new microtransactions can we add for the console players now...
some really people in the comments as usual who think AGS has a personal vendetta against them or something lol looks nice for now, I really hope we get a roadmap for what's coming next though
Oh no, we're painfully aware that it's not a personal vendetta, but that they do not give a single solitary shit about anything other than profitability. *THAT'S* the issue. Enshittification ftw
Hey Duke, nothing about autolock? every pc skilled player is asking " why do you remove the most fun part ok NW?" " why should we come back to an autolock/WOW game?"
@@smokedoggxxl the diffrence between them, is that pvp players based on skill choose this game. As it was lacking of content, they give life to it. You want an autolock PVE game there a millions on MMORPG that are just the same
@@spamerotvI never inquired about the differences; that wasn't my question. I asked what the potential issues with emulating World of Warcraft could be.

Literally I'm on pc and wanted to come back and this sht is dead i can't find one lobby to progress gearscore all dungeons have no lobbies and ive moved to a more populated server
Forcing players to either PvP or do the raid (if they can even get a chance to do it) for 725 gear is an awful decision. Or spend millions of gold to craft, even worse. It's not surprising from the clown show. Thumbs up for great videos, thumbs down for the devs making this game painful for average casuals who refuse to RMT.
what was the point of this video? Your kind just say shit we already know. Also, it makes sense they don't have a road map yet they are likely waiting to see how the new launch goes before releasing it, so they know if they need to put time into fixing any issues.
